All my little charges are fast asleep, so i have been looking at other threads trying to cheer myself up after all the bad news, found this hilarious thread, you must read it if you get chance,
Childminders, nannies, au pairs etc : Came home early and caught AP out don't know whether to laugh or cry!

not so much the problems thats funny but the answers from everyone else. Put a smile on most of your faces i'm sure.

just back from the longest morning ever at the hospital. Its a bit more posotive for me and there still is a glimmer of hope. The baby is hanging on in there at the moment. My dates were completeley wrong and the sac was alot smaller than expected. She couldnt see a heart beat but there was sonic waves. I am going back next thurs and if they find a heart beat and i have no more bleeding then hopefully all will progress well.

It will be a December baby though. Im going to rest now and keep my legs crossed. This will be the longest week of my life. But i do feel alot calmer now there is hope.

Thankyou you so much for everyones kind words, i dont know what i would have done without you all, i would have felt so desperatly alone without you.

Diddle and Lexy, did you have this wait too??

yingers74 · 13/04/2005 14:40

cp3 - that is good news, have my fingers crossed, and hope all goes well. definitely get some rest and put those feet up.

rodeo1 · 13/04/2005 14:47

Glad to hear about scan cp3, we'll keep everything crossed for you x x x

Chocolatequeen, poor you and you ds. I told my ds off (I know, what a b*tch!) the other night for pooing in his nappy after I'd just popped him off to bed. He is toilet trained and has nappies for nighttime wees but I felt SO bad afterwards. Kept saying I was sorry and 'just tired'!

CP3 great news, now make sure you don't lift a finger more than you need to this week, the housework will wait and the kids will amuse themselves and takeaways were invented for just such occasions, look after yourself & big hugs to you and you family.

Choclatequeen pmsl, how funny, what are boys like, they just don't care. Keep persevering but don't try and rush it as there is no point and you'll both end up frustarated and it will become an issue or battle of wills between you and then you won't get anywhere.

Bad mummy Rodeo know what you mean though, I was naughty this morning didn't want to get up and ds said he needed a poo so I told him to do it in his nightime nappy, to which he quickly said no mummy I'm a big boy now and I use the toilet. Bad mummy Beks

Got to go and pick ds up from preschool speak to you all later.

Hellkat what rabiit?

HellKat · 13/04/2005 15:43

Wonderful news Cp3. Will definitely kep everything crossed for you. Hope you're not thinking of changing threads now this little one's not due until December. You're still a "DUE In NoV" girl.
Beks- On the thread about that girl, I got the gist of it about her rabbit (or ds's rabbit) getting killed.

BEKsmum · 13/04/2005 15:56

CP3 great news...... I am really happy for you. Fingers crossed all goes well.

I have bad news. I had my scan and have been told that I have had yet another m/c. I expected this result so was not at all shocked. I have to go back on the 27th just for another scan to check that I have the all clear. The doctor was confident that I would expel all naturally. At least I don't have to be admitted.
I will also start with some investigations. Who knows, they may find the reasons behind all of this.

I am determined to stay positive. Had alovely bottle of red last night with loads of forbidden foods!!! We are going away next week on a rural retreat just to get away from it all.

Please don't any of you get worried about your own pregnancies. I wish all of you the best of luck. Here's to safe and happy pregnancies now and in the future.

You have all been really amazing and a great support. I am so lucky to have found this site.

Take care.x

(I will check in occassionally just to be nosey!)

Hello I'm Sharon , I'm 30 and it's my first time on here and my first baby, I'm due on 26th Nov.
It's lovely to find this site , being reading through all the messages and they're making me feel not so scared. Been off food for the last few weeks and tea coffee and pretty much everything. Got lots of family who already have kids and they've been scaring me, on purpose I think.I've been married since August so life is still pretty unbelieveable. I have a great husband but feel a little isolated right now, that's awful isn't it ?
