Congratulations & welcome aboard dangirl & koala bear.

Nice job Rodeo, can't believe how quickly this group has grown. Onwards and outwards girls. Hope you are all feeling ok.

Went out for a meal with the girls last night and laughed so much I've got backache today!!!

Better go as still tidying up before we have an Easter Egg hunt for a dozen kids at 11:00am and then my in laws as coming for the weekend so probably won't get a chance to post again. Have a great Easter and here's to eating far far too much chocolate

Enthusia · 25/03/2005 11:46

Welcome dangirl and koala bear.

I am finally feeling human again - hooray !!!! Have ordered some preggie pops and in the meantime am constantly sucking on boiled sweets, which really seem to be working. May not have any teeth left at end of pg, but at least I won't be feeling as sick.

Am about to go for an afternoon tea with dh to where we got married - both in need of some pampering!

Have a great Easter everyone

HellKat · 25/03/2005 13:38

Welcome Dan and Koala.
Koala- There'll be 19 months between my ds and this new one too! I'm due 5th Nov and my ds will be 1 next Friday.
Cp3- so glad you've got a big age gap between your children too! My eldest ds will be 13 on May 12th and ds2 will be 1 on the 1st Apr. Must admit comes in very handy when I need him to keep an eye on ds2 while I'm cooking etc.
How is everyone? Good here. Waiting for the sun to come back out so I can garden

Diddle · 25/03/2005 14:39

Thank you all for the welcome greetings. The sickness feeling is kicking in as of today. Not very nice. Never had that in 1st preg... hopefully it wont last for too long!!
I also had an early miscarriage (week 7) last Nov. I have been amazed at how many others on here have been in the same situation. It certainly has left me much more worried this time around!
Happy easter to all.
Hugs, Dangirlxx

Hi to you all
I'm expecting my 3rd baby nov 13. Have a ds 3yrs and dd 11months. I'm a bit apprehensive about having 3 children under 4,(although this was planned) anyone feel the same?
Hope everything goes well for you all!!

earthmum · 26/03/2005 21:48

WOW Hollybelle,

I thought I was bad with one girl of 2yrs and 1 boy of 1yrs. Good luck to you all.It will be more than worth it when they are older and running you riot!!!! x x

busyalexsmummy · 26/03/2005 22:05

Feeling really bloated today and feel uncomfortable in my jeans, remember this feeling with ds, i had to start wearing maternity jeans by 13 weeks with him as i just couldnt stand feeling restricted round my belly, today ive had a few quesy moments...aggggghhh
Also cant stop eating crp, used to go till 1pm without feeling hungry, now its 9.30am and i feel rotten, but am steering towards the crp foods not the healthy stuff i'll start looking pregnant i reckon by next week if i dont watch out

Happysecret2 · 27/03/2005 17:21

I'm due the 28th no4

KristinaM · 27/03/2005 18:12

Hi everyone, can I join you? I'm Kristina, I'm just recovering from the shock of finding out I'm pregnant again.... ...it's a bit of a surprise. But a happy one!

Not sure of my exact date but going for a scan next week, probably around 23 November. This is my baby number 3 - I have a 5 year old DD and a 10 month old DS

HellKat · 27/03/2005 18:13

Welcome Happy and Holly!
Busy I look pg already! Hit 8 weeks yesterday and look bizarre. My boobs have trebled in size in matter of days, have a pg bulge but still have slim legs (think I'll resemble a beachball on cocktail sticks ). Can still fit into size 8 jeans and have'nt put on more than a couple of pounds. Just have a bulge. Deffo look pg!
Have a great easter all.

HellKat · 27/03/2005 18:14

Welcome Kristina!
This is my 3rd too. My youngest ds will be 1 next friday and my other ds will be 13 in May. I'm due on the 5th.

KristinaM · 27/03/2005 20:49

Hi HC I'm already stressing about how I will cope with 2 under 18 months. Ds is a lovely baby but VERY high maintenance

BEKsmum · 27/03/2005 21:53

Wow, welcome & congratulations Holly, Happy & Kristina.

You guys with more than 2 must be real earth mothers especially those with them under 3 - I take my hat off to you and worship the ground you walk on, I am not worthy 'cos I'm scared witless & this is only my second . Perhaps you can teach me how this parenting lark works!!!

Hellkat I've gone right off you , now I know you're a size 8 and I can be divided into you three times & that's at only 8 weeks pregnant I've decided I'm not talking to you anymore!!! - now repeat after me "I must eat more chocolate, I must eat more chocolate"!!!

Hope you are all having a fun Easter, take care and look after those bumps x

rodeo1 · 27/03/2005 22:28

Happy to have you on board, holly, kristina and happy secret!!

Add yourselves to our list! (or I'll do it when nip/tuck's gone off!) This thread is getting too long, when I've eventually got to the bottom I've forgotton what I'm about to type!

Happy, are you the one who's on the Dec thread? I've been watching that! Congratulations!! And number 4 - wow!!

I'm on no.3 too Kristina, and thinking 'oh my god!, what have we done!!' My ds is a complete whirlwind, how I'm going to cope with a newborn too I don't know.

BEKSmum, not earth mothers exactly - we are just a bit mental! Anyway, you'll be catching us up soon! x x x

Am actually feeling really chuffed today as dp has warmed to the idea of having baby2 and is starting to look forward to it. today we went off to a car boot and picked up a lovely cot quilt and bumper for the new baby and im allowed to have a new moses basket so ive been scanning various places getting ideas! im still going to buy a second hand one as they in them so little time, but would like a nice one as ds's one was a family one and a bit old, nothing wrong with it, just be nice to have something new as it will have rather alot of handmedowns i should think! still in two minds about pram, think we have decided to use matrix system when out together with ds in single buggy, then if i go out alone, will get the sky marco stroller with the fully reclining back seat(only discovered that one tonight on ebay!!)
been feeling really sick today, especially going over the bumpy field in the car at the boot sale!! havent ate many eggs though, tried a few lindt minis but they were quite sickly and im not really hot on choc, more of a savoury person!
anyhow will stop waffling now, lol
everybody had a good easter?

KristinaM · 28/03/2005 00:44

busy alexs mum - I'm so pleased to hear that your DP is getting used to the idea. Nesting already - I'm impressed
My Dh is over the moon - even though he was adament that we shouldn't have any more kids. I think he likes the idea that his super sperm can penetrate rubber

cp3 · 28/03/2005 09:15

Still no sickness for me but i look so pregnant. Is it cos we are small Hellkat do you think. All i know is that i had a flat stomach two weeks ago and now it looks like ive pigged out on chocolate. Which i havent. And ive been going to the gym. How can you get bigger round the waist when the baby is only the size of a baked bean. Ans on a post card please.

My two toddlers keep jumping all over me and im so worried that one of them will do damage by kicking me in the stomach. I tell them to be careful but they are way to young to understand really.

KristinaM · 28/03/2005 11:10

Cp I think its coz our stomach muscles are shot to h* from the other pregnancies. I also go to the gym 3 times a week and you would never know....I've looked 4 months pregnant for the last 6 months. Before that i looked 6 months pregnant!!
I dont think kicking toddlers can hurt the baby - as you say its the size of a bean and well protected - but they will probably hurt you. Cant you start to train them to be less bouncy with you?
I usd to carry my older DD until I was pregnant with DS, then i realised I couldnt go on doing that. My friend advised me to not " blame" the baby but just say I couldnt carry her any more coz she was a big girl and I had a sore back.
Maybe you could get them to jump on their dad instead??? Just a thought......
i alternate between feeling sick and moaning about it....
and worrying becasue i DONT feel sick

cp3 · 28/03/2005 12:12

Thanks kristina. I do tell them they will hurt me but they forget so easily and then all of a sudden i get jumped on.

Enthusia · 28/03/2005 13:21

Hiya everyone

Hope you are all having a good Easter. Welcome to all the new arrivals!!!!

Thought I'd ask for a bit of advice from those out there who have gone through this before, as this is my first time around!

I seem to have changed quite drastically since about week 6 of pg. It is not just the sickness or the bloating etc, I also have seem to have lost motivation for about anything. I used to be a highly motivated person who could not still, esp if things needed doing such as work or housework but now I just can't be bothered. All I want to do is sit, eat or sleep. My house is a state for the first time ever, I have stacks of holiday work mounting and I just can't seem to be bothered with any of it. DH is being fab and is constantly tidying up after me and pampering, but I am not really enjoying this lack of enthusiasm. I feel a bit like an empty shell.

Please tell me, is this normal? Is there anything I can do? And does it go away?

Also, sorry to whinge, but I just don't seem to be able to eat healthily either - I only fancy 'junky' kind of food and can't keep anything green down. Please help - feeling lost.

KristinaM · 28/03/2005 13:29

Enthusia - yes its normal and for me, anyway,it did get better. in my first preg it just freaked me out. i thought oh no, if i'm this knackered when i'm only 8 weeks pregnant , how will i cope with being 38 weeks or even having a baby!!! But i actually felt better at 41 weeks than I did at 8
