Pregnant with first baby and due on 11th March '09 (18 weeks now).
So cool (and reassuring!) to read everyone's experiences, I too have been eating like a horse and feeling first flutterings of baby (I think?!).
Anyone managing to do any exercise?
Try to go swimming and do some pregnancy yoga dvds/'prenatal fitness fix' (very good if you like aerobics classes) not having much effect on my rapidly spreading thighs tho!
Also, has anyone found that they are getting a bit dippy?!

I think you might be lolianja! But it's pretty close. I am 21, there is another 21 year old and a few 22 year olds too. Quite a few people in the relatively young mum camp at the mo!

My DP has bring on the trumpets as his txt tone on his phone!! It's pretty funny.

I'm amazed at, oh god, sorry who was it that that posted about lying on their stomach...? (What was that you were saying about being dippy??!) Anyway, yes, I'm amazed you (Was in BabyinBelly or Dinny?) were able to lie on your stomach for this long, it gives me the heebies from very early on. I'm always worried I'm going to squash the baby! Mind, my bump is maybe bigger than yours now my muscles aren't what they were!

On the subject of being dippy whilst pregnant, I always find my spelling goes...I don't know why. It'z Reeellyy rreellly weeerrdd.

That's getting to be some list!!
Had a busy weekend, IL's came to visit they were actually well behaved for a change (we don't get on so well)
M/s is now hit and miss for me, some days I am terrible, others fine. Strange how its going really.
I have been busy with work too, I am a WOHM (s/employed) and I am gonna have a busy time up to Christmas.
I am also standing at a Wedding Fayre later this month so that will be a test of how long can I stand on my feet.... its not too bad at the moment but in my other pregnancies I was limited to the amount of time I could stand without fainting!

OMG!!! Am glad the worst of my MS is over - Am watching Bear Grylls and he is a fecking nutter. He is in the Sahara and has just eaten raw goats testicles (which made him sick) and then he skinned a camel, drank fluid from it's stomach, took the contents from it's stomach (food) and squeezed it for fluid - then he took all the guts out. He tried some of the raw camel fat and threw it up. (And he's pretty hardy) OMG!!!! I mean, I know in health and safety situations, he is hauled out of wherever he is but the fact that he is prepared to show you how to survive in these situations takes some er...well, guts. Sorry if I just put some folk off their tea and toast....TMI I'm guessing.

God almighty! He just bit a frog in half. I think I'm going to faint. Where's 'Friends'.....

Hey all. I'm of all of you that are feeling movements. Sometimes I think I do, but then it's just gas. Oh well, not too long now I guess. I've been cleaning and cooking a storm today, so I'm beat.

People are coming to look at the house today (we're trying to sell) so the pressure is on.

Oh is so nice to be on thread with everyone else due in March. Other antenatal threads for babies due in the next few weeks are brillaint now, with long lists of those that have had theirs and all the weights and everything, amazing.

Am also v jealous that everyone is feeling movements. Dont really think I am although only 16+3 so guess that it quite early?

Had m/w appointment this morning and everything seemed fine so a bit more relaxed than usual.

MKG Would you liketo come and clean my house, i have been trying to get it tidy all week. But dd1 has chicken pox and dd2 has a bed cold. And todays my birthday and i want Quite and not do anything.

oh dear...I am stuffed!!! Popped to M&S to get some lunch and I wanted a bit of everything so I got...pork pie, cooked chicken breast and a chicken ceasar wrap...had a half of everything and a chocolate mousse sundae to finish off...I am surprised I made it back up the stairs to my desk!!! I also have all the other halves left to keep me going til tea if I get peckish!!! I think I scared people at work...their jaws kept lowering the more I pulled out of the carrier bag!!!

I think I've changed my mind about maternity leave aswell...thinking of leaving 4 weeks before EDD as I'm not sure Ill be any use after that but how are you meant to amuse yourself for 4 whole weeks?!?!

Had my scan last week and they put me back 11 days! so I am now due this little bundle of joy on the 28th!
How come in normal life 11 days seems like nothing but when ur pregnant its like forever!
Any way I am rubbish with computers so could one of u clever ladies please repost the list with my updated date! thanking u!
Re maternity clothes I have fell in love with the knitted cardies in topshop think I will get 2 although they are £35 each but can sell them on ebay afterwards!
I am gonna need to work right up to my date apparantly as I am getting made redundant in July and wont have a job to go back to so need to make my maternity stretch for as long as possible! Its rubbish I finished 6 weeks before with my other 3 however I was still completely disorganised when they arrived so probably won't make much difference!

emma-I'm truly amazed. With the boys I could eat anything in site, but this one doesn't even make me want an oreo cookie.

The bright side of yesterday was that I made pumpkin bread and a pumpkin pie. So my house smells like Thanksgiving (my favorite holiday because you get all the food without obligation of gifts). I also made a leg of lamb and cream of tomato soup. So my house is now full of yummy food. Today I'm dedicating myself to doing little jobs I've been putting off.

I don't want to go to work tomorrow!

Afternoon ladies! Just thought I'd check in and say hello. Lollipopz my date changed but the other way round.... my due date was originally the 15th and was put back to the 7th so I lost time - far better than gaining!

I'm feeling loads of movements now, but then this is my second time around and I'm sure i'm growing a monster... my DD was big and I have a feeling this one is going to be another lardy baby...!

MKG your food sounds gorgeous. I never have enough time to cook properly anymore, I think you've just inspired me to make something! Although I'll just probably lie down until the feeling passes.....
