Our hosp. doesn't do water births unfortunately, I've only heard good stories about them too - minimum tearing/pain relief etc.

I'm hoping for a VBAC and have started reading up on the best way to prepare(DS was semi-emerg section after 36 hour 'failing to progress' labour due to disproportion).

The thought of twins has crossed my mind too partly due to my (ahem) age and partly due to having them on both my Mum and Dad's side. Think I would be feeling sick by now though if it was twins..

Also did internet Chinese lunar prediction test and it says a girl! It was right for DS but then its going to be 50/50 isn't it. Don't mind either way.

Seems there's quite a list of us already here for April! I was wondering if anyone joined the ante-natal clubs so early on, but when I looked yesterday I was surprised to see there was already an April 09 thread with 100+ messages! lol I only found out about these sort of "clubs" on parenting boards after my 2nd baby was born (now 16.5mo), so never got a chance to join any. So it will be fun this time!

Can I join this thread? I have just had a BFP and it's my first. Due about 13 April based on those online calculators.

I post on some other threads, but people might know me in real life, hence the non-creative name change! Any suggestions for something better gratefully received!

Well I went and bought a First Response using up my boots advantage points...did another test and hurrah...no doubt at all it is a BFP. Lets hope it is a sticker....

Remembering my v.long difficult birth with ds I think i my have jumped out of the window if they had refused pain relief. In the end i had emergency section with general anithstetic. So i'm glad i'm not in Holland. I had excellent nhs care last time. However I've now moved to another area and heard so many horror stories about my local hospital that i will be going to one just outside my area which is about 5o mins away.

I've been feeling v.sleepy for the past week and quit hungry but i put that down to work as i'm self employed ang this is a busy time for us. I thought that it would be too early for symtoms.

I was lucky as i never had any sickness with ds only once and that was when i was in labour so i'm not surprised that i don't feel sick now.

Hi all, symptoms so far for me are horrid taste in my mouth, over whelming tiredness and if I am not hungary I feel sick and if not sick then hungry. PLUS.....my waist has thickened already (5 weeks preg!!!)

Hurray to those without sickness and long may it last!!!
