Due April 2009? Am I really the first?

Anyone else out there? Just got faint, but definitely there, BFP.

Due 1st April, according to those dodgy due date calculators.

my usual cycle/walk routes KNACKER me out! plan to swim tomorrow after scan if everything's okay - we'll see how far I get

am doing wee bits of running but have gone straight to run/walking rather than full running as I seem to get so hot just now with full running.

will no doubt go to just walking if the ms does kick in.

is anyone else freezing all the time? I have to wear a jumper as soon as I get home and sheepskin slippers, and am still chilled all over.

Brrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

I walk everyday, but mainly because it keeps DD quiet so I get some piece! It does tire me a bit more than usual, but I just take it slow.

I get pains in my left side when I have been rushing round the house, like when doing housework or getting me and DD ready to go out. I had them last time, but not until much later on. Midwife last time said that it was a sign I was overdoing it and that I needed to slow down.

Just thought I'd update..although I did feel (and look) like poo earlier, I have had an amazing burst of energy from about an hour afterwards...still not come down

Way worth it, I'd say.

Someone remind me of that tomorrow!

Bought a new pair of maternity jeans today but... got so angry in the process - all the maternity departments were out of the way upstairs at the back, rails all too close to get ds in buggy down the middle and so disorganised that it took a huge effort to find my size. I really want to write a nasty letter and emplore them to be more considerate to us poor pregnant hot, uncomfortable, emotionally unstable women!

Question Ladies. My last child was prem (27w)and I really want to talk to the consultant I had about why and what the chances are again etc. Will I automatically get the chance to do this, will I have to arrange it myself or will the midwife sort it for me. Also does anyone know if I would be treated as high risk this time or does that depend on what the consultant decides.

I'm not sure fourth, but I know that my friend who had a little girl prematurely was fine the second time round - still early, but not premature. she puts the first one down to a really stressful time with her work (she has since sued them successfully and her little girl is fine ).

Hello - Can I add myself on too?

Just to say to fourth. You will be treated as high risk this time around and be under consultant care for your pregnancy. Premature labour can occur for a simple reason such as an urine infection - most often there doesn't appear to be a reason for it and you are more likely to have a term pregnancy this time.

However, the consultant will keep a closer eye on you and you'll probably have a extra scans to monior your baby.

Quick question to all you pregnancy pro's out there - did you find your first time harder than second or third? MiL assured me last night that the first one is always the worst in terms of sickness and pain (I think she was trying to combat my 'I'm never doing this again' tantrum!) but wondered if she was right?

Well my ms is nowhere near as bad second time around (so far...) but whether my heartburn/sciatica follows suit waits to be seen...

Hmmm BabyBolat - sickness and tiredness definitely worse this time (pregnancy number three), i think after the first one it's not helped by having other DCs to look after, so you can't swan off to bed when you want to! (and you're that bit older each time.....groan)

my recollection of the first time round is of lots of naps, being treated like a queen and made a fuss of by everyone. Seems like a distant memory, so all you first-timers, enjoy every second!

Welcome IpodMermaid - sounds like you definitely are pregnant with all of those tests! I have known for 3 weeks and still do the occasional test just to see the line again!
