This is the company we're looking at doing our wedding. TBD changed his mind looking at that site when he saw it's not just a big fancy dress party!
I'm going to try again when it's not a booking in appointment, I'm not sure if they're a little more rushed than normal. I'm going to be there a lot so I will try and work it out. I want a reasoned answer as to why I need an "elective" (which will end up being an emergency if I go into prem labour again) what the risks with my particular style of scar are compared to a "normal" scar, what my chances of a trial would be etc. What worries me is that they can decide all this for if I get to 38 weeks, but what if I don't? Maybe I need two birth plans
I'm not sure if she sees them as being negligent, they didn't see a reason to worry before. First time (20 weeks) I called The Women's when I was getting contractions, they didn't think it was the baby (I'd had a fall a few days before so thought I was in pain from that) so said to go to City A&E. A&E said it was a UTI (even though I couldn't wee which normally I can't leave the loo) and I ignored the pain till I was bleeding and collapsed. Lily-Hope was born soon after I got there. Second time (31 weeks) I had some pain the previous night, had some the next morning on my way for my scan, went quiet during my appointment, two more contractions in the cafe. They called a doctor to examine me, had a contraction in front of her, she said it was probably SPD or BH and to come back if it got worse. I went shopping and by the time I finished I knew it was bad (1.5 mins on, 0.5 off), by the time I got there it had slowed down again. I had a contraction in front of a MW and she knew it was serious. She took me to delivery room, quite suddenly my contractions got stronger than they had been before and it was pretty quick from there (2cm to fully dilated in an hour).
I think what she was saying is that if I have the slightest twinge they'll be pulling me straight in!
Tink was a whopping 4lb 2oz!
