Come on I can't be the ONLY one!!! I got my BFP this morning - I think I'm due around the 12th March...

No real symptoms yet other than slightly weary this afternoon, and quite bad backache.

Not too hopeful JUST yet as very early days and had a m/c last year. Already have a DD (2.5)

Don't leave me here on my own too long!!

GYo · 12/07/2008 08:11

OOh good idea. I will get an Appt for next week. I really want to get that early scan for re-assurance ASAP! Doesnt everyone though I guess!!?

28th of July isnt too far away! Hopefully they will give you a picture!

I dont think DH will tell his friend, since he just split from his wife so he is really down at the moment- kind of hard. The friend is coming here tonight before the airport tomorrow... will be suspect when im not sharing wine with them- but men arent so intuitive as women!

MollieMooma · 12/07/2008 08:17

Morning ladies
Mandy Thank you but that photo was 4 yrs ago and I was overweight then and have slowly continued to put it on but thanks for kind comment
Dinny How cute? Lovely pics! I'm a first timer, so you will be one of the ones I bombard with questions [girn]

Hello and welcome to Lilymolly, Citybranch, Beetle and GYo Fruity LOL at numerous tests! I think I did about 5 in total Glad to see you have a PCOS buddy here too! My first thought when I woke up this morning was - OMG when does Fruity get married! I did tell you if you remember that you'd be waddling down the aisle, thank goodness now you will have had the baby, just get a flowy dress in case there is some residual baby weight

FruitynNutty · 12/07/2008 08:32

lol Mollie hopefully I wont be waddling dont the aisle with residue baby weight. I'm gong to try my best not to eat a whole family sized bag of kettle chips in one sitting everyday

GYo go for that scan girl!!!!!!
No, men aren't as intuitive as women. Just tell him you're on antibiotics or something if he asks

GYo · 12/07/2008 08:39

Good Morning Mollie

Im also a first timer- are there many of us here?

I have a million questions too.... dont know where to start.

Thanks for the welcome!

Beetle73 · 12/07/2008 08:46

Morning all,

Hey GYO - I'm not a first-timer, but I might as well be! it all seems so far away, I've forgotten even the few things I learnt the first time around.

GYo · 12/07/2008 08:49

Morning Beetle

LOL- how long since you were last pregnant?

Beetle73 · 12/07/2008 08:53

4.5 yrs ago. i keep trying to remember how i felt/what was happening at this time last time. I certainly can't remember much about this weird 'phoney war' period.

MollieMooma · 12/07/2008 09:23

GYo I think there is about 8 of us roughly but our list keeps swelling like hopefully our tummy's will soon!!
Beetle Maybe its like riding a bike and eventually it will all come flooding back!

Beetle73 · 12/07/2008 09:28

. Probably right Mollie. I suppose the advantage of being a second timer is that, even if you can't remember a thing, you know that you've someone muddled through it once, so you can probably muddle through it again. (Although 5 years older, I really think broken nights are going to be even harder...)

Tapster · 12/07/2008 11:57

Not too early for symptoms girls. I tested last Monday as last weekend I felt so nauseous even though I was convinced I wasn't pregnant this month. AF wan't due until yesterday. Test was positive even though I tested 5 days early. I felt this nauseous this early with DD for some women it happens. I can't sleep as I feel so hot so feel knackered today luckily DH can look after DD while I sleep.

Feel too nauseous to eat, eating is not making it better either. Think I'll go back to bed.

twocutedarlings · 12/07/2008 13:10

Hi all,

Welcome all the new BFP congrats !!

Well i told my Mum, Dad and sister yesterday. Dad and sis are over the moon, my Mum reacted very badly so it will be a few weeks until i talk to her again .

my constant sickness as finally calmed down a little, its still there at time but at least its not constant........yippeeeeeee

tapster (((hugs))) you sound like i did this time last week, hopefully it will pass soon.

Im looking really forward to telling the girls the news, but i will leave it as long as poss so that the wait is not to long for them.

MW is coming out tomorrow morning for booking in appointment, so hopefully i should get a better idea of exactley how many weeks i am, i could be 6 or 10.

MKG · 12/07/2008 13:19

Good morning, not too early for symptoms at all. I started feeling sick a few days after conception and noticed an increase in discharge and now I don't feel anything. With ds2 I had no symptoms by 8 weeks though.

MKG · 12/07/2008 13:22

twocutedarlings--Sorry your mom didn't take it well. I'm dreading telling my mom. Everyone else knows except for her and my sister. I can feel the judgement coming. I get it though, this is my fourth pregnancy in four years (the third she'll know about)

MollieMooma · 12/07/2008 13:23

MKG Definately agree with increased CM!
TwoCD So sorry your Mum reacted badly did she have any particular reason or is she just being funny? Sorry if I'm too nosy just tell me to mind my own business if you don't want to share!

MKG · 12/07/2008 13:29

Mollie don't get me started on CM if this pregnancy makes it all the way, by the time I'm done I will be wearing pads every day.

FruitynNutty · 12/07/2008 14:04

Oh god yeah, the CM is definitely increased In fact, after a couple of days of Imp spotting I thought AF had finally arrived but realised it was CM and not a bit of spotting in sight.

So I suppose it's not too early for symptoms but I only tested yesterday and have no idea when AF was/is due as I'm now on CD59 (Due to PCOS) so I have no idea how early I am

Anyway, we shall see.

TwoCD What s it with mums? I'm dreading telling mine. She sees the negative side of EVERYTHING. I tell you, if I had won the jackpot she would find something negative about it. No idea what/how/when I should tell her. DP's family will be over the moon! He reckon we shouldn't be telling people yet but it's impossible.

Tapster Morning sickness already? It's a girl I tell you

Do you know what I've just realised? I haven't stopped sneezing for about a week. I remember being very sneezy/itchy nose throughout my last pregnancy. Maybe that's a symptom? Increased sense of smell and all that.

Mollie you're gonna have to help me shift the baby weight for the wedding. I'll have 6 months!

MollieMooma · 12/07/2008 15:56

Fruity Course I'll help you shift the baby weight, can't have you not looking your best when you have such a gorgeous venue!!

Thank goodness I'm not on my own then with oodles of CM so that means hurray another symptom!

SunshineSmith · 12/07/2008 15:57
