Katz, thanks for your email. I have replied but also said I would post on here my suggestion for luch tomorrow. Basically all I suggested was that at lunch we give our doatios to someone, and they send off 1 cheque to Katz, makes it a bit simpler. I'm happy to send a cheque.

Sanctuary sounds great...yet another one full of tears Sweetheart so glad you got to spend some time with your lovely little boy x.

Thanks for all the good wishes....Lippy as Megi says it's over 140 = girl, under 140 = boy...although not always

Uwila...no no Welshie didn't tell me - the translation I got back said something about bad heartburn and not saying coz her hubby wouldn't be happy!! I was just guessing at a girl

charleypops · 25/01/2005 16:39

Thank you for the message April.

Sweetheart, we care about you and will be here for you.

Sanctuary treatment voucher sounds perfect

x

mrsflowerpot · 25/01/2005 16:45

Thank you April for passing that on. Hugs to Sweetheart, very very

I vote for Sanctuary vouchers too.

katzguk · 25/01/2005 16:53

boy you lot can talk!

Another one here with tears in her eyes too, sweetheart sending you all our love.

Re Sweethearts presents what i will do is send April a cheque for the remaining amount so she can get santurary vouchers to pamper sweetheart. so anymore money i receive will just add to the total pmapering!! does that sound okay? i'm going to order the midwife tonight so i can send the card along with the cheque next week sometime.

charleypops · 25/01/2005 16:55

Brilliant Katz - thank you x

Tessiebear · 25/01/2005 17:12

Just had a bit of a sob at SH's lovely message. God bless your little boy SweetheartXXXX
Katz - will put the cheque in the post 2morrow.
Teabelly - congrats on your GIRL!!! - Hope to be joining you in the girl gang (i wish)
Scraggy - am wearing maternity thongs as we speak (sorry for TMI) and they are really comfortable!

JonahB · 25/01/2005 17:41

April, thanks for passing the message on.

Sweetheart, we are all thinking about you so much and I'm so glad you got the chance to meet your little boy. You take good care of yourself now.

Katz, as always, thanks for sorting this out. Sanctuary sounds perfect.

I'm glad my pc is waterproof......

Scraggyaggy · 25/01/2005 17:51

April - Love to Sweetheart. x

I agree with the Sanctuary idea. I think she did tell Katz and I about this, so it's definitely something she would like.

Scraggyaggy · 25/01/2005 17:57

Am feeling ill....... Must be all the F-O-O-D I have eaten today being squelched about by the monster living in my tummy!

Don't you think it's amazing that there's a living being in there, like a quarter of a metre long and you can't feel it unless it gives you a really big kick!! Goodness knows what else I have lurking about inside - an old wellie boot perhaps?

LipstickMum · 25/01/2005 18:03

Definitely Scraggy, you're never on your own
How did the knicker hunt go Charley??

charleypops · 25/01/2005 18:07

Humph! Dp forgot to leave me his card and I only had a tenner on me so just got a handful of groceries.

Scrags - I'm half expecting to see a trunk and tusk buds attached to my "inner being" when I have my scan!

LipstickMum · 25/01/2005 18:10

Do you think he forgot? Or 'forgot'..? Bearing in mind he didn't get much change from the spending money he gave you on Saturday

OP posts:
Tessiebear · 25/01/2005 18:11

Scraggy - i fear i may find a rusty supermarket trolley lurking at the bottom of my belly ...

charleypops · 25/01/2005 18:15

Lippy - you have might have a point there! Poor bloke..

Cobweb · 25/01/2005 18:29

April thank you for posting the message from Sweetheard and it was overwhelming to read and I want to send all my love and wishes to her.

Feel so guilty now for even mentioning the flicker of disappointment at having a 3rd boy. Certainly put it in perspective.

So good to be back and thank you for your messages girls.

Had a good day at work today and a massive roast dinner lunch in our canteen for Burns Night which was followed by a lovely steamed pud - yummy!

No strange cravings yet although I am still not into the chocolate (which I suppose is a good thing). Loving danish pastries and pick & mix sweets {blush}

Right off to bath my boys and get them into bed.

Back later xxxxxxxxxxx

MrsWednesday · 25/01/2005 20:22

Wish I was off chocolate. Have just stuffed my face with brownies after a very big tea and now I feel slightly sick. I'd say chocolate was my craving actually, can't think of anything else at all (unlike with DS where I HAD to have a whole pink grapefruit and a couple of big glasses grapefruit juice with sparkling mineral water every day).

I think the Sanctuary vouchers is a great idea too Aprilmeadow - and thanks.

MrsWednesday · 25/01/2005 20:23

Forgot to say - had a look at the stats thread and it was nice to see some people who haven't posted on here for a while. If you're lurking - come back!

Mirage · 25/01/2005 20:24

Just a quickie here.I have been offline since Saturday & haven't caught up yet.

Aprilmeadow, thankyou for passing on the message from Sweetheart.Sweetheart, thankyou for telling us about meeting your little boy,I am sure that all of us here will always remember him.

Katzguk-my cheque should be with you any day now-I posted it on Sunday.I'm glad we have something left over, the Sanctuary idea sounds lovely.

Off for a bath now, before 'Child Of Our Time'.

mrsflowerpot · 25/01/2005 20:31

I HAVE to have grapefruit juice this time round, MrsW. Only problem is the indigestion has kicked in and all that citrus isn't making it any better. Other than that, I generally hate food at the moment, I'm hungry but I don't fancy anything and then when I eat I have to round it off with a good swig of Gaviscon. Except chips, I could eat chips all day long.

MrsWednesday · 25/01/2005 20:49

Hmm, perhaps you're having a boy then MrsF? Will have a look and see if I can find anything about old wives tales and cravings. Good luck with the scan tomorrow!

mrsflowerpot · 25/01/2005 20:50

Thank you, I'm quite jittery about tomorrow tbh.

It was oranges last time, and that was a boy, so who knows? I just remember my desk at work looked like a fruit stall, had to push past piles of oranges to get to my PC.

Lua · 25/01/2005 21:06

mrsF I only want oranges and tangerines too! and am having a boy! So I am guessing a boy for you and a girl for Mrs.W whom is craving chocolate...

bubbaloo · 25/01/2005 21:18

aprilmeadow, thank you for passing on sweethearts message-it was very moving and our thoughts are with her at this sad timexxx
i think the sanctuary sounds like a fab idea.
mrs F- good luck at the scan tomorrow

bubbaloo · 25/01/2005 21:22

teabelly-i dont know how but i nearly forgot"CONGRATS ON YOUR BABY GIRL"

LipstickMum · 25/01/2005 22:17

I'm not really having any cravings, which I take to be a good thing, it's so inconvenient I didn't get many last time either which I found to be a relief. This baby is kicking a lot as I type, such a wee thing, I can really feel them now more than just flutterings (18+weeks)

Am tired so I think I'm off to Bedfordshire
