Cramp, me too! I do get it anyway but it appears to be more frequent now and in both calves at the same time. I have to dig my heels into the bed really really hard and it goes, its a bummer though!
Not weighed myself either and not sure want to. I am all up front ut it is massive! Its really veiny to and lots of little lines bit am covering myself in bio oil everyday and moisturising too!

My vericase vein is annoying too, making my lady bits swollen (sorry TMI) but its not attractive!!!

annwoo · 16/07/2008 20:09

Welcome my3honeypies - am also on no.3- nice to have a boy after two girls.

wherestheaupair can I have some of your energy please! Maybe I should start drinking aloe vera juice. I also want to clean, clean, clean but don't have the energy, energy, energy.

Although I have taken to doing my floors each night with my new steam mop, but this doesn't take any energy at all. Would recommend it to anyone bit like meditation listening to the whirring sound of the machine.

Lozza70 · 16/07/2008 20:52

Hi everyone

I've been feeling lots of new movements, really high in my ribs which is not fantastic Hoping that it is as baby has moved round, was breech at 20 week scan. Waking up in the morning with a really sore pelvis, fandango area, sorry if TMI which again I'm hoping is due to baby being the right way up! It does ease off once I have had my shower though so hoping nothing to worry about.

anwoo i do highly recommend aloe juice- plus it has the added bonus of clearing out my skin and giving me silky hair (makes me sound like a My Little Pony!) Given that I have highlighted wiry hair i'm v.happy about the effects of the aloe products
I also mucked out my desk today- threw away an entire bin bag of old paperwork (and old christmas cards!). Its scary what I can hoard. also finally got around to renewing tax credits...chasing up insurance claim, doing accounts...cleaning bathroom, toilet...fridge...actually I haven't stopped today.
Got really emotional this afternoon (maybe it was the effect of such a mammoth clean out) when DH phoned earlier he said he couldn't get anytime off work so we can't do anything for our 2nd wedding anniversary. Normally i'd be fine and say 'ah well' but i burst into tears!!! He's been working crazy hours in the last few months with his work- often 7 day weeks so I don't know why i'm surprised. I guess I was just hoping for something non-child related to look forward to.
DS was so cute - made me feel instantly better saying "mama, mama" and led me into his wigwam (yes we have a wigwam in our living room)and gave me his tractor and a dummy!!! What a cutie- he's such a lovely boy

hansnava · 16/07/2008 21:36

hello ladies.

ive had 4 people say to me today "ohh ur getting big" and "oh ur starting to fill out now" y do people feel the need to remind u that ur getting fat. lol.

so far ive put on a stone so im hoping i wont put on too much more, with dd i put on 4 stone and really dont want to put on that much again.

pelvis is really starting to hurt now, midwife said if it gets worse will have to have physio and have to wear belly belt that i got last time.

cant believe ive only got 14 weeks left if that. i keep thinking god this pregnancy is going slow then i think about how long ive got left and its like oh shit in 14 weeks i'll have two

dd is sooo cute at the minute shes poorly has high temp cold the runs [tmi] but when her belly hurts shes goes "mummy my baby hurts"

evening everyone, been lurking a bit an too tired to post for a while.

Myjobismum as others have said there is lots of time for the LO to move, and also wth a second pg you have more room in your uterus for the baby to go one way or the other at the moment. Only 3-4% of babies are still breech at birth The chances of you being to allowed to deliver a breech are interesting you have to consent to anything so if you want to deliver a breech you can but whether there is a mw or Dr at your hospital who has experience of delivering breech babies is another thing because most breech babaies ate delivered by cs these days! Google Mary Cronk who is a bit of a breech deliver mw guru if you more want info on breech births.
Last time i had an un-diagnosed breech so I am ultra paranoid about this subject. I'm 28 weeks now ans currently my LO is transverse so I am going to be crawling round on all 4 to try and get him/her to move, the main problem is getting up again

hedgepig · 16/07/2008 22:19

I had a cs last time because of various complications with ds when they found he was breech at 40 weeks and i am desperate for a VBAC this time so I am analyzing every move and bump to try and decide which way up this one is. I have a great mw this time (unlike the one last time ) and she will send me for a late reassurance scan even if she thinks this one is head down.

bethoo · 16/07/2008 22:29

mjim i get these emails fromo diffrent sites telling me what is happening week by week and i think that at some stage the baby starts to put on a lb a week so about 30 odd weeks but we start to gain weight rapidly now, extra fat for milk and stuff i suppose!

ronshar · 16/07/2008 22:38

Myjob, I have had another look this evening. (Google Breech pregnancy). It is not a done deal until at least 37 weeks. The midwife will arrange a scan for you at 35/36 and then they will try to turn baby if still breech. ECV.
As Hedgpig has said, not many doctors or midwives know how to deliver a breech as for years they have automatically sent women for sections.
The most important person is you, If you are happy to try and deliver breech baby then stand up & do it. You will still have a natural birth just a foot first one. At least you will know the sex quicker. Not everyone is. I am really not sure for myself. The chicken in me says just go for C-Section but the woman is telling me to get on with it and not make a big deal! Hopefully I wont have to make that decision.

I have given sparkly permission to relay the info to all on the thread. Except my tel number and mobile
By Emmsy1 on Thu 17-Jul-08 00:38:11

See Emmsy's waiting room on the conception thread, for the full details if interested

hedgepig · 17/07/2008 10:12

Emmsey - I posted this on yr conception thread too I can't see any reason why you should stop posting. Stuff happens in life and we just muddle through trying to make the best of it, my sweet.

KSal · 17/07/2008 10:36

Emmsy, the way i see it you have no reason to stop posting. this place is about providing support not judgement xx

GirlWithTheMouseyHair · 17/07/2008 12:21

I second KSal...heated debates are good and healhty but anyone passing judgement on somebody's else's lives is a non-entity....don't worry, we're here for support

i properly pulled my calf with that cramp the other night, still bloody hurting - any other tips for making cramp go away? my bathroom is too warm for the cold floor trick...

Emmsy - You have no reason to leave the thread or any other. You have just lifted a great weight off your shoulders and that has prob done you the world of good. People are here to support you and whilst you are pregnant you should not be getting too stressed and upset. Stay on the thread and everyone will help you through as here is where you will get so much support. No one is here to judge you

jenwa · 17/07/2008 16:49

GWTMH- tonic water is meant to be good for stopping cramp. Drinking it before bed. I cant stand it and just dig my feet in to the bed really hard when I get it in my calves and it disapears really quickly.

Emmsy1 · 17/07/2008 19:30

Girls posted this a few moments ago on the other thread, thought it best to post to you to, thank you all for being so supportive xx

Girls thank you all so much, haven't been able to stop crying since I started reading your posts, feel better that this is out in the open, I know it's not always wise to air you linen in public but have felt under a lot of pressure over the last few weeks, my family expect me to drive up to Sudbury every weekend to take or bring back brother for his community visits (mum, dad and sister don't drive)I didn't mind when I thought it was going to be twice a Month for his home stays, but its now turned out that he wants to come home every Sunday to see his children, and from August every Saturday (he only stays home for 7 hours) I'm starting to regret that he was posted to an 'open' prison, and wish he was back in Kennet where he wasn't allowed home, then I feel guilty for thinking that. I have tried to explain to my mum that the driving is starting to stress me out, but her only words are I feel sorry for poor son. I had a party for 2 of my children last Saturday, so I was very tired on Sunday when I drove him back to the prison, I started home at 8pm and because I was so tired I went the wrong way I had driven for 40 minutes before I realised I had gone wrong, I got home at 11.30pm and had to start searching the house for my daughter's birthday presents as it was her real birthday on Monday. I told mum that I wouldn't be able to do all the driving in a few months, she asked me why!! Told her I was having a baby. She said "oh yes, I had forgotten about that" but still no sympathy from her. It's getting me down, so really felt I needed to share about it, as I'm hitting my head against a brick wall with my family. Thank you all so much xx
