Due in Fab Feb 2009

Hi

Couldn't see a Feb thread so thought I would start one as am so excited to get a faint but definately positive HPT.

Fertility friend estimates a due date of 4th Feb.

Unfortunately (or fortunately)am off this afternoon for a hen weekend in Barcelona the first holiday in at least a year and a half and can't drink. Ohh well will have to be the responsible adult..... Hence checking to see if up the duff before I went drowning myself in Sangria.

Hope to see some others on here when I get back!!! If anyone cares to join me?

Thanks IHASLS. I know, I could hardly believe I was actually watching a BFP develop today! (have done HPT's 3 so far just for the novelty . DH is chuffed to bits too. As I have conceived on 1st cycle which I am extremely grateful about, I don't know cycle lengths so not sure how many weeks I am either although it is now nearly 5 weeks since my last AF (tested negative two days ago tho) so could have ov'd late??

Anyway, whatever - it's happened now and I am stunned but happy! Have an urge to ring all my friends and family to tell them but have resisted so far

Thanks for that IHASLS. I put my LMP in and it is giving due date of Jan 30th and has me at 4 w 6 days. However, I think it would be a few days later as my cycles have been slightly longer than the usual 28 days since ttc. I reckon it might be 1st Feb or something like that!

I am feeling soooo nauseous! Was sick yesterday and just gipping today . DP made me some breakfast just now which I just can't face eating!

I did another pg test aswell! I'm so embarrassed but it is also the novelty factor for me as well! (That's the 5th one!!!!)

I am panicking about the fact that we have told all our family. But, if the worst does happen, it will be great to have them there to support us. (Feeling rough is a great sign though I am told!)

Can I join too? Positive test yesterday. I can't quite believe it, but I can. Oh, all a bit unreal at the moment. And oh god, I've been out so much recently knocking back the champers!! Eek. Really thought I wouldn't be pregnant this time!

And we're not supposed to tell anyone yet! All so early and you never know if they're going to stick or not.

This will be my third - already have two boys age 5 and 2. Due date 3rd Feb. Add me to the list!

I will not be on now til Sunday as we are going away for the weekend (camping!) in Wales. I guess I now have an excuse not to help carry much or put up the tent! LOL

It was great to see the scan, but I really felt pg when DS was kicking and I KNEW it was kicks, and not me thinking I had trapped wind! Up to then it could have been putting on a few pounds, a bug, something I ate, gas, etc. ... anything to explain the other symptoms.

Does that make sense? It was quite a way in, past 12 weeks for sure, and past when I had told everyone! It seemed a bit unreal for ages. I think it does with your first!

This time I am less shocked that I've actually fallen pg, but I am looking forward to feeling baby move inside of me (God willing, of course).

Congrats MisDelighted and Mamagoose.

Feeling quite tired and nauseous today going back to work next week feeling like this or worse isnt a great thought.

DS was up at least 3 times last night then finally wanted to party at 5am. Which could explain a fair bit of the tiredness.

Boobs also a bit achey and popping to the bathoom a lot.

Do you think I might be pregnant?

Congratulations all on your great news

Got BFP earlier this evening, went a bit nuts when testing (month 2 TTC DC1, first time testing....) ended up peeing in a ramekin. Hmmm. Anyhow, am so excited, have been lurking for more years than I care to remember now I can be bona fide Mnetter. Got a whole lot of mild symptoms, but TBH thought they were all in the mind until just now. Think I need to get my head around it!

How is everyone today? I don't seem to have many symptoms yet, which is freaking me out a bit, as I had plenty last time around.

I have a slight ache in the womb, like mild period pain, but no stretching pains that I remember from before. Perhaps it stretches more easily in subsequent pregnancies? I also only have very mildly tender boobs, and no sickness at all. I felt nauseous a few days ago, but seem fine now. I'm a little jaded, but there's not the exhaustion I had with DS.

Anyone feeling the same? I hate to sit and analyse all my symtpoms - or lack of them- but can't help doing it.

Have just added that it's DC2 for me.

I never thought it would happen so quick this time, it happened in the first cycle with dd and now it's happened the first time we tried since making her, she's almost 2.
I'm a namechanger as i'm keeping quiet until after her birthday at least!
Don't have many symptoms yet and had loads with her at this stage so i'm finding it quite difficult to accept i'm pregnant at the mo, despite the 4 positive tests

bleurgh, just wondered if anyone else was up trying to think about anything other that throwing up! [big green sick face]

Not that its distracting me from thinking about pregnancy but I'm watching baby programmes on discovery home & health!

Last night I was dozing on sofa by 8.45, up at 4 (and 5) for a pee and a snack (LOL my whole life I've always slept through 8 hours, I never even stir) this morning I'm knackered, like I have the worst jetlag ever. At the moment I'm loving it, am sure the novelty will wear off extremely soon
