VG how worrying for you. trapped wind is awful, have suffered for years although have never bothered to find out what causes it

VG, I can honestly admit that your DH is not here. Would have to be a REALLY LONG RUN.

Captain I've come to realize the occasional pain I feel in my tummy area is probably little fingers. {{CUE ALIEN MUSIC}}

Hmm thanks TS the crunching gravel wasn't him after all! No doubt he will show up all salty and sweaty and healthy and full of the joys! TS how do you know it's fingers???? Can you feel them from the outside do you mean?

Dizzy it's me with trapped wind - I found that going up the loft earlier did 'dislodge' some of it (sadly not in dh's face though!)

And Yes, our house is up for sale - got someone coming round to view it tomorrow evening. WE have got someone wanting to buy it but they haven't sold theirs yet. Hope to have moved before baby Cavey arrives but won't be holding my breath!

Have only just seen Buckets' comment re post-its am LOLLING. God expressing milk was awful for me, I hated it, had a hand pump, oh shudder, the memories!

On serious note my sister says lecky ones are much better. Assuming bf goes ok I'd like to express a bottle a day if possible for DP to feed with. Moving DS from breast to bottle (for me going back to work) was dreadful last time.

night cavey vg I bf both of mine and gave them both a bottle from 3weeks with expressed milk so they wouldn't refuse it later on.

worked fine with dd1, had more problems with dd2 so no idea how its going to go this time

am thinking of a refresher as it was due to mistakes I was making that second time didn't go too well

Dizzy it has to be fingers. I get this poke feeling every now and then in different locations close to where I'm getting bumped internally.

dizzy Yes I think I will start expressing not immediately but after about 3 weeks or so, once it's well established. I need to read up about strategies for that in advance, I think, it's too stressful at the time.

Bed soon for me too, have doc first thing in am, so will get teeny scan, and then work.

Oh dear. Totally agree on the feck off front, though am useless at actually saying it, just bitterly repeat it to self on loop. Am hoping though that will be able to feed plus express enough to freeze for emergencies. Sounds like you had it well sorted, am impressed.
