miamla thats great news, am thrilled! there is nothing worse than the worrying and the not knowing - am glad you're getting good treatment too

ok, back to the wedding saga - showed dh the matalan tops on and the cream spotty one I think is a bit too squished on the norks and he agrees.

the blue tunic one (linked above) is nice but not 'weddingy' enough so I tried on one that I had bought from New Look ages ago and he says 'oohh, that ones nice, I like it'

FFS!!! I've spent a fortune on clothes and delivery and returns only to finally pick someting thats been in my wardrobe all along and never worn

have, however, managed to keep a pair of lovely cropped denim combats that happened to fall in with Mamas and Papas delivery = how did they get in there

ooh sorry, another double post from me! forgot to say...had funny conversation with DP last night about how we were keeping track of the sexes on this thread. he commented about how much more confusing it would be if there were 10 different sexes instead of two. he then thought some more and said "actually, there are 8...straight girl, straight boy, gay girl, gay boy, transexual girl who likes boys etc etc etc"
i do wonder about him sometimes!

oh and another thing, whilst visiting DP's parents at weekend, I got to see all his baby photos. he was such a cute baby with soooo much hair! i was bald until i was about 5 so its going to be interesting to see how hairy Pip is! judging from my lack of heartburn i reckon the poor thing's going to be bald but slightly easier for a boy (than a girl) to go through! i got nicknamed Tweety-Pie because i only had one hair at the top of my hair that always stuck straight up! And we've got our first few outfits as well...DP's from when he was a baby. some very cool 70s style shirts in there. its going to be fun playing dress-up with Pip!

i didn't ask for comments about the name "Theodore" earlier but i'd like them. what do you lovely ladies think?

Did anyone watch the repeat of the Dawn Porter documentary on childbirth just now? I was watching and just as it got to a most interesting waterbirth bit my brother rang & was on for ages! Delighted to chat to him, the old dear, but I was itching to turn up the sound again.
