Way hay!!! All good at the scan, baby Cavey was being a monkey and hiding his face so sonographer couldn't get to look at his nose and eyes for ages. However, no probs and all seems fine. Although he was a little desperate to flash his willy at us!!! So yes, we are having a BOY!!! Ds will be so excited when we tell him later.

yey! A little boy CC. Fantastic news!

Have just been into Mothercare for clothes. Bought nothing but a summer dress for me in the sale. When I wear it I'm going to look like I keep chickens! Just need to get me a scarf for my hair! But it was only £17. Good for tatting around the garden this summer...

Blimey, it's hard to keep up here if you miss a day, let alone if you do what I did and bugger off for a few weeks then try to catch up...!

Miamla thanks for your welcome back - not planning to find out the sex but obviously if we have a CC moment and a willy appears we won't get much choice!

Am feeling gutted now about missing out on non-alco beer for all these months. Have skimmed what was written here but any particular recommends for someone who normally loves Peroni or Budvar welcome...

Will come back tomorrow to report back on scan. Fingers crossed all ok - have had a few days worrying about movement/knicker checking etc. (previous miscarriage still firmly in mind) but I think all's ok down there as I've been getting a few firm thumps. Had wanted a girl originally (already have a 2.5yr DS) but now starting to believe this is going to be a boy...but most of all want a nice surprise!

stillhere, I can really recommend alcohol-free Erdinger - it's a wheat bear, quite sweet-tasting but refreshing too. It's the only boozeless beer I've had that actually tastes like the real thing.

Right then team, I'm off home and then I'm going to my first ever yoga class - its an ante natal class. Can't wait to see ds to tell him about his little brother!!

I've had a very busy afternoon writing up a strategy for one of our services (started it only ohhhhh, about 7 months ago ). Amazing how the deadline of going on mat leave focuses your mind to achieve those things which you cannot pass on to someone else!!

i'm not a happy bunny. i've done some silly damage to the car (misjudged entrance to car park... cars waiting to go out, i thought i could squeeze in but got caught on fence then instead of going back, turned the wheel.) dh was yelling at me, i was crying so did more damage in panic!.... upshot is scratches, broken indicator light glass (though think bulb ok), and totally buggered left wing mirror. very very and with myself.

Sazzle your downs result are about like mine. Sorry about DD. I guess the ultra color makes her meds ultra good.

Captain I was being impatient about your scan results. I just wanted to know if I was correct or not. (Remember I took a guess a thread or so back about the gender.) Congratulations on your second wild little boy. I'm so very excited for you and I'm sure DS1 is also very happy.

Alittlebitshy I misjudge our mailbox much the same way...ALL THE TIME. I haven't done quite so much damage BUT just wait, one day I'm going to lay it over. I took out our garbage can once. Still have the bump on my driver's door to prove it. All this in my drive-way .

Hello everyone! Just to say that the scan went great, everything is fine and the baby was quite good unlike last time and didn't hide. Had a male sonographer which which quite interesting, he was really kind and chatty and explained everything he was doing.
Then he showed us a view of the little ones nether regions and asked: "How many legs can you see?" and we all chorused "THREE!" So it's official, we are having a baby boy... Yay!
My intuition (and my mums dreams) were right.

CC, great to hear your scan went well and you're having a boy too This thread is awash with them now, eh..

whats that then how many boys and how many girls?!

evening all - didn't post over the weekend - had swimming on sat with ds1 which went better than the first week - great teacher who had them pretending they were on motorbikes that they had to fix with the tools they had to collect from the bottom of the pool!
Then birthday party with all three first thing on Sunday whilst DH had a lie in (I had mine on sat!) However when I got back - thought that everything was getting sorted in the house and DH was doing last job on list - yipee - when he peeled a small amount of wallpaper off hall wall this has ended up with - oh I might as well do the hall, stairs and landing! So back to building site! Don't get me wrong the whole house needs doing but why now with no planning, me pregnant and three small kids aaarrrrrgggggghhhhhhh!

For those mentioning baby kicks - I can rarely feel my little one but when they did the scan they said it was because the placenta is at the front so little one is kicking that rather than me!

Hope everyine well tonight - midwife tomorrow - wonder what loopy thing she'll come out with!
