Mmmmm, cheese! I would much rather be having that for dinner than blardy fresh fish. We are not reallt fish fans, but feel that we must make an effort to eat a portion every few weeks.
As for peanutbutter on toast I would LOVE some, but haven't been able to eat peanutbutter since before ds2 (who will be 4 in June)was born. We have a strong family history of allergies/asthma/eczema and I was told to avoid peanuts. Sadly, I was not very strict as fell in love with snickers (PMSL!) and at 18 months ds2 was diagnosed with multiple food allergies including most nuts It may have nothing to do with what I ate, but I can't help feeling guilty, so definately NO peanut products for me this time, although I have been told other nuts are fine.
I am sorry so many of you are feeling so sick and having a terrible time. I feel I got off incredibly lightly, even by my own pregnancy standards. However, I am paying for this with wicked evening headaches, pelvic girdle pain (pain in the buttocks, a bit like sciatica) and hayfever!
The boys and I spent this afternoon potting our tomato & sweet pepper plants into grow bags and the have helped me sow some sweetcorn, cucumber & courgette. Tomorrow we will sow the salads, radishes, spring onions and baby carrots. They also planted a pumpkin and sunflower each as part of an experiment/competition, lol! Hopefully the weather will be decent enough tomorrow to finally get my spuds in. Grrr! I am blardy late this year! Still, all this is well worth it when you eat your own stuff, I can't wait (and no, we don't have a huge chunck of land, just a normal sized back garden with lots of pots on the patio and a raised bed tucked into a corner of the garden)
