I was getting a bit panicky aboyt not having passed as faimly lives a few miles from me, public transport a nightmare (would take about 2 hours to go 5 miles down the road), and all friends are at uni so I was starting to feel really dwn about it all and not looking forward to lo coming, silly I know!!, but now i feel a lot better and that if I want tto go somewhere I can!!! Its great!!! I cried when he told me i passed (and almost snotted all over cardigan!!)

Cxx

moominsmummy · 11/03/2008 13:26

sagitta - am with you there - I still can't decide between Sam or James

also what pet names have you all got for your bumps? DH pointed out last night that for DS we had about 3 or 4 pet names and he still gets called them now. I have only ever referred to the bump as "this baby" [blush}

feel v guilty now as baby getting less attention already

Carey87 · 11/03/2008 13:30

my mum kept calling bump junior, which made me cringe, dont know why, pragnancy hormones maybe?!?!?

My DP calls bump 'tucker' as it just seems to get bigger and bigger averyday!!!

Mum2b2BabyRoo · 11/03/2008 13:32

Moominsmummy - bump is called Roo or Baby!

As far as names are concerned we are having a tough time finding names we like enough to forever brand our child with it!

scorpio1 · 11/03/2008 13:34

Bump is called Millie

KnitterInTheNW · 11/03/2008 13:38

We tend to call my bump junior, or when I'm talking to him during the day it's monkey, or tinker, or little man, or sometimes George just pops out of my mouth so I don't think he can be anything else now!

Carey87 · 11/03/2008 13:40

I like George, thats what we were going to call babba until we realised that our due date was 23rd April.

KnitterInTheNW · 11/03/2008 13:50

You still could, chances of him been born on your actual due date are very slim, aren't they?

Yum, I just had mozzarella, avocado and tomatoes with pesto for lunch, same as I had for tea last night and will probably have the same tonight! (All started off with Mollyfloss' dinner for tonight...)

Please no-one suggest any other food combinations until I've finished with this craving, or I won't quite know what to do.

moominsmummy · 11/03/2008 13:56

LOL Knitter at your food cravings

Thanks for all suggestions for pet names - I do like Roo, can't use George as is DS's middle name

am having a "down" day today - lots of BH and bump is all tight and uncomfy

Ellie - will you make me a cup of tea?

sagitta · 11/03/2008 14:15

Bump is called Bug 2, and probably will still be called that for the next 18 years or so...

VictorianSqualor · 11/03/2008 14:22

Ds has two middle names, couldn't decide between them so he is Bobby Michael Alan (his middle names are his great grandparents names) DD has one middle name, but her grandparents were both called Frances!

This one is Either Alexander Oliver or Alexandra Caroline, we think. I think because they are both long names it would sounds silly with more than one middle name but with short names sounds cool.

bunnyrabbit · 11/03/2008 14:24

Mine is Buglet or little man or monster... much the same as his brother really!!

Am also feeling uncomfy todday. Had an upset tummy last night and today so feeling a bit sorry for myself..

BR

ThePFJ · 11/03/2008 14:34

My bump is called Bump, little basket, little tyke, or Jackjack.
OR if I am feeling really hacked off with him headbutting my bladder: BASTARD.
It's quite eloquant really. Was thinking actually that could be a really glam unique name for baby.

ThePFJ · 11/03/2008 14:52

Mmmmm.. I just had beans on brown toast with grated cheese on top... sooooo yummy!

moominsmummy · 11/03/2008 15:01

Hey PFJ have just noticed you live in Derbyshire - I am in the north - whereabouts are you?

BR - sorry you're feeling uncomfy too - come and share some chocolate cake.... My tummy feeling less tight now I have loosened my trousers !

velbels · 11/03/2008 15:11

We call it Bob it was originally 'Bob the blob' but now 'Bob the bump'!

bunnyrabbit · 11/03/2008 15:23

Thank you moomin... think I'm peckish but don't want to eat as I feel I'm going to explode today... honestly my belly button has all but disappeared!!

How LO can move about so much when there is so little room I don't know... ouch!! Everytime my tummy touches the desk (which is a lot when you're carrying a watermelon) he kicks it!!

BR

jaq39 · 11/03/2008 15:36

Hi all, not been on for a long time! But my bump is called Aisha. Has anyone else lost there appetite? Ive been eating far too much rubbish this pregnancy, but this last week I cant be bothered eating! I dont think there is any room left in there!

PortAndLemon · 11/03/2008 15:37

Baby was originally Sproglet 2 (because DS was Sproglet) but that tends to get shortened to Sproglet now. My mother refers to her as Isla because that's a name both DH and I love but can't use because of surname issues (yes, our surname is Wight-Ferry... or possibly not ) and so she reckons pre-birth is the only chance we'll get to call her that.

DS has two middle names, and this one will too.

jaq39 · 11/03/2008 15:40

If the scan was wrong and this is actually a boy we are in big trouble cos we couldnt agree At All about boys name!

moominsmummy · 11/03/2008 15:40

P&L - LOL at Isla Wight-Ferry!

PortAndLemon · 11/03/2008 15:46

The combination wouldn't be that bad, but getting close...

TheMaskedPoster · 11/03/2008 15:46

G'day all - haven't had chance to get on much today - hope everyone well.

We call baby 'beanie' ... still. It was called this from the 6 week dating scan (kind of explained very briefly to dd) and has carried on through.

I have decided my 'can't be bothered-ness' is a pm syndrome because I usually summon some urge to do stuff and it is only once the clock hits about 1pm that the urge buggers off and leaves me couch-bound.

Have Nachos for dinner as I wafted around Tesco trying to decide what to do for dinner and as it was after 1pm I had little hope any magnifique banquets catching my eye. I really should do a major shop and the usual weekly planned meals - but guess what .. I can't be bothered! LOL

TheMaskedPoster · 11/03/2008 15:59

oh my goodness - Congratulations to you Carey87 ... bloody well done, marvy, superb etc etc etc

ThePFJ · 11/03/2008 16:03

Moominsmummy I am outside Chesterfield, in a little village called Tibshelf.
