Morning All, sounds like theres a lot of windy PG ladies out there! well it makes a change from the males in our lives!! although mine tends to be burps

I haven't got the cleaning bug yet, althogh I have moved the furniture round in the lounge this morning, not sure I like it, but no energy to put it back

EllieG · 11/03/2008 11:44

Just leave it where it is and have a cup of tea. Tis my answer to everything these days.
Bad day? Cup of tea
Broken leg? Nice cuppa tea

KnitterInTheNW · 11/03/2008 11:46

BUt not too many cups in the evening or you'll be making trips to the bathroom even more often through the night.

Ellieeeeeeeeee, don't you want to be my friend? (FB)

EllieG · 11/03/2008 11:49

I do I do! Just haven't been on internet in the evening for a few days and the spoilsports at work don't let me access fb or yahoo email. They haven't cottoned on to MN yet hee hee....

Denny185 · 11/03/2008 11:51

Just got back from shopping just in time for a delivery man with some more little lamb nappies, Id forgotten how small and cute the first size are. Need to raid the cupboards now to find the others and get them washed. Think I might take Ellies advice and have a cup of tea first though.

Carey87 · 11/03/2008 12:00

yey!!!!

I passed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

EllieG · 11/03/2008 12:03

WOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!
Fabulous!
I will forgo usual cuppa and crack open the bubbly instead [passes round glasses of champers]

Denny185 · 11/03/2008 12:03

Yeah congratulations - did you wear gloves?

Carey87 · 11/03/2008 12:05

no, but i did tuck a little cardigan that my nan knitted for lo down top

smelled just like her and it really calmed me xx

Denny185 · 11/03/2008 12:08

Did you get any strange looks at the lumps and bumps in your top?

ToastAddict · 11/03/2008 12:11

Congrats Carey

sagitta · 11/03/2008 12:16

Congrats, carey!

I wish I was nesting like some of you - although I did finally get the baby stuff out of mum and dad's loft at the weekend. But it was quite disappointing to find I've actually given most of it away. I can't find the breast pump, baby gym, baby gros... And I'd even put away some all of the clothes with stains on, in the rush to pack when we moved. So slovenly...

Talking of not being ladylike, I discovered that someone had pinched our ladder this morning. I was holding DD's hand, and said - not thinking - 'bugger, where's the ladder?Fuckers. " Which she repeated all the way to nursery

velbels · 11/03/2008 12:37

Well Done Carey!

ThePFJ · 11/03/2008 12:41

Scary isnt it? The time will fly...

I did some of the kitchen. Ish.
I have a doctors appointment this afternoon but I am too tired to walk all the way up there. I tried to rearrange the appointment but there arent any until the 28th!
Boo Hiss. Am going to lie down for an hour and hope I have the energy to waddle up there.
Damn you hills!

scorpio1 · 11/03/2008 12:41

VictorianSqualor · 11/03/2008 12:41

Woooh!
Just got back from my 36wk appointment at which I was expecting cons to be a bit about me waiting it out but she was perfectly happy with the growth and doppler scans and we've agreed to hold off any talk of CS's until 40 weeks
She also said she was pleased to see me looking so well and DD's teacher said a similar thing at parents evening so maybe I am 'glowing'?

ThePFJ · 11/03/2008 12:42

Congrats Carey!

scorpio1 · 11/03/2008 12:44

BR

Mum2b2BabyRoo · 11/03/2008 12:51

Congrats Carey!! My biggest fear when doing my licence was that I wouldn't get it and I wouldn't be able to drive my children around one day! (I was 18 at the time!)

scorpio1 · 11/03/2008 12:52

i got 4 thorntons easter eggs today, iced names for £10 - very good!

scorpio1 · 11/03/2008 12:53

oh and are any of you giving your babies 2 middle names? Millie Grace is just too normal for me...

KnitterInTheNW · 11/03/2008 12:59

Well done Carey!

I bet the examiners see all sorts of things being mascots ans things, a baby cardi would be very normal!

I've just been for a soak in the bath cos I was feeling so achey and uncomfortable, now I don't feel any different, just cleaner, and more exhausted after getting dressed after. Roll on 2 more weeks now, I've had enough.

sagitta · 11/03/2008 13:21

Scorpio - we can't even think of one name, for either sex, let alone three!

EllieG · 11/03/2008 13:25

Glad all back to normal with you and DH scorpio

LOL at sagitta - I swore in front of DSD the other day by accident and she was scandalised - 'Eleanor! You said a swear word!'. Had to apologise and was much chastened.

I want to stop being preggers now too. Though have realised that some of my rotten and cry-at-everything mood of this week might be because forgot to get new prescription of AD's and haven't taken for a week. Went to doc this morning and am all dosed up. Told DP and he said words to effect of 'Phew, I hadn't realised you'd stopped taking them but had noticed you'd been a bit, um, different this week' (i.e moody old cow) - poor man.
