After a bit of cajoling from some friends (some of whom I hope can join me here soon), I decided to take the plunge and start this thread.

Anyway, I have just found out I am pregnant again, got a BFP on Saturday 23rd at 12dpo, which gives me an EDD of 3rd November 2008 (or the 4th, depending on which calculator I use). This is my 4th pregnancy and will be my 3rd child. I am super excited and a little scared & nervous after a previous missed miscarriage.

I hope I don't get too lonely waiting for more BFP's to roll in! Please come and join me.

lol Roca, I can either get me and DS washed and dressed in the morning or DS and DD. It's very rare that all three of us are sorted before I leave the house...although I do make a special effort on a Thursday as it's parent reader morning and DD gets funny looks if she is still in her jammies.

My boobs have exploded in the last couple of hours. I've been aware that my bra is getting tighter over the course of the evening. How bizarre!

Roca · 18/03/2008 23:05

I was just thinking the same about my boobs - how funny. My bra was off hours ago! (amazing what you can tell to total strangers and get away with!)

Feel really queasy too.

Morning all!

God, I feel rotten today. Like I'm about to throw up any second. I also feel utterly knackered. Bless little DS though - he woke at 6am, had a feed and went back to sleep in my bed until 7.45. So I feel like I've had a lie in. I'e just finished giving him some breakfast and he's now in his highchair staring at me in puzzlement, probably wondering why I'm not getting him wasjed and dressed already.

How's everyone doing today?

Pinkali37 · 19/03/2008 09:10

Morning All,

So... yesterday I felt like I was getting flu. Ached all over and after the crap nights sleep i had the night before felt knackered. Boobs still don't feel as tender as they did (HAS THIS HAPPENED TO ANYONE ELSE?) and am 6 weeks today!!

Also, not sure if I am thinking I might feel a bit icky or not... oh so very confusing.

Pinkali37 · 19/03/2008 09:11

Crici - I also have only had 1 mc but they are still managing to get me in for an early scan next week (@ 7 weeks). I don;t think it's fair how different areas fluctuate in what they will and won't let you do. x

lackaDAISYcal · 19/03/2008 09:13

I was about to ask did anyone want to join me in feeling really bad. I woke up this morning feeling like I've got the hangover from hell; queasy to my boots, pounding headache, dry mouth, can't face food or even a cup of tea.

Looks like it's all kicking off here . I had this until after 20 weeks last time; I hope it doesn't go on that long this time around.

Creena, I managed to get the DCs ready, but I just threw on some clothes. I haven't even washed my face or combed my hair yet.

I think I'm going to try and get DD down for a nap and then I'm off back to bed.

Pinkali37 · 19/03/2008 09:15

LackaDaisy - I also have a horrible headache but thought it might be a virus as had flu like symptoms.

OOPS....

dozymare · 19/03/2008 09:22

Morning All - can't belive how many of us there are...I feel absolutely knackered...running around after 2 LOs and suffering from insomnia is not making for a happy mummy at the moment!!! Plus our buyer has just pulled out of our house sale which means I could lose our dream home........plus my 2 DS are fighting all the time and doing my head in!!!! Aside from that, all is good in Dozyland!!!

lackaDAISYcal · 19/03/2008 09:26

bugger about your buyer dozy . I hope things come good.

Creena, don't know how you feel, but when I fed DD this morning it felt like broken glass. Not sure how much longer I can keep this up.

Pinkali37 · 19/03/2008 10:27

Arse Dozy, am really sorry about your buyer. I know how you must be feeling. I'm a solicitor and although Commercial did a lot of residential and it was so common for people to pull out. I used to hate seeing people so upset. Anyway keep positive.

twinklingfairy · 19/03/2008 11:23

Gosh, no. hana if I had an MC my mum would be the second to know! DH's mum prob about fourth (DH would tell his dad after I told him) We seem to be quite a close family. My mum is my best mate and DH's dad is his.
Talking of that, my mum is worrying me at mo. She seems V down, but just says, oh nothing to worry about. Admits she has worries but won't share She is Always there for me, wish I could be for her. But I guess I am her daughter, she won't share everything with me cos she will want to protect me.

pinkali I am with you, no sore boobs at all! No symptoms at all But I am just not worrying anymore. What will be will be. I didn't worry with DD and it was fine so not going to worry with this one either. DH tells me not to, cos stress won't help the bean. And he is right. I am soooo not good with stress anyway so best not to bother with it. I have left good jobs before cos I couldn't handle stress. So no career for me

I made 2 squares for DD's blanket last night!
Yeah me!
But I was up until 2am Not so good for me, doh!
I am a night owl and can cope with little sleep. I think I am enjoying getting things done before the pregnancy or MS takes over and I can do nothing.

Pinkali37 · 19/03/2008 11:33

My mum is knitting away for my sisters Bean and my PEA.

Twinkle- I'm sorry to hear that your mum is feeling rather low. All you can do is let her know that you are there if she wants to talk

Well boobs feel only slightly tender and not as rock hard as they did, so is that the same for you?

I have a very strange pain in my right ovary too. Every now an again a very strong pulsating pain but then it stops. It is just like my pains with Endo and cysts on my ovar so I am presumming i have one. Which i think is ok in preg and quite common???????????????????????????????????

Yorky · 19/03/2008 11:37

DS woke me at 330 cos he'd lost his blankie but settled right back, I on the otherhand, lay awake for the next 2hrs. Not good.
Dont feel nauseous, or sore boobs. Didn't feel pregnant last time so not worrying, much, just wondering if I'm tired because of lack of sleep or of its more than that!
Well done on the blanket squares.
Good luck with the house Dozy.
Creena, are you still b/feeding? DS just has his first feed of the day from me, but he doesn't seem to go back to sleep after it anymore

lackaDAISYcal · 19/03/2008 11:38

pinkali, in early pregnancy a cyst develops on the ovary that released the egg, and it is this cyst that produces the hormones etc until the placenta takes over at around 14 weeks. Can't remember what it's called (something luteal cyst?) and it's necessary for the pregnancy to continue. I saw a pic of mine at my scan last week

Pinkali37 · 19/03/2008 11:46

Lackadaisy do your ovaries really hurt cos my twinges were quite painful. Doesn't feel ectopic or anything like that just that horrible pulsating pain

Yorky - how far are you? It makes me feel happy that some people have the same as me (or should I say lack of)

twinklingfairy · 19/03/2008 11:52

I think it is called a blastocyst.
I had that yesterday actually, come to think on it, those were the pains I had whilst at mums.
My boobs have never felt like rock yet, and not at all today.
I get the occasional twinge (well did yesterday) that reassures me, but it is not constant.

Yeah, I told mum I was here and aware, wish I hadn't used that word, it seems a bit weird now But you are right, I just wanted her to know I was there. But I know she will say nothing. I will try to get my dad on his own at some point.
Mind you this happened a wee while ago and neither would divulge. though I thought last time they had just had an argument but obvs didn't want to tell me all about it. This time feels different cos they are both still V loving. So scared she might be ill. She is a smoker and had a heart scare a few years back. And a doc appointment yesterday, which they tooks pains to say was 'routine'

lackaDAISYcal · 19/03/2008 11:53

I was getting some horrible twingeing last week pinkali. I thought I had appendicitis , but it comes and goes and hasn't been nearly as bad this week.
