PaulaYatesBiggestFan · 08/03/2008 21:14

yes sk i love it!!!!!

poor you kaz

Kaz1967 · 08/03/2008 21:18

Paula sadly larger ones do not produce any more than little ones. Having taught breastfeeding little ones are far easier for babies to latch onto as well

Only person happy with my extra large ones would be my ex he was a boob man

isaidno · 09/03/2008 07:57

40 L
I was quite impressed with my 36 C (up from a 32 A) Then Sweetkitty mentioned her little D cups

Minkus · 09/03/2008 08:15

bebejones wow your dh has dark hair and blue eyes? Always a killer combination for me yum!

And lol Tjuice at the recessive celtic red afro hair, think that would be really cool!

On the boob thing, mine are an E at the moment so not especially large but so blimmin saggy its untrue. Kitty the idea of having perky books is fab, sadly I could roll mine up and tuck them into my bra (which might actually make them look a bit firmer, hmmm maybe I should give that a go)

EEC · 09/03/2008 08:16

36C here, up from A. I am very happy with them at the moment (as is DH!)- I wish they would stay. Never mind. Also never go out so can't show them off!

Terrible back ache constantly here. Moan.

bebejones · 09/03/2008 08:37

I ended up ordering a 36H, up from a 34F, feeling mahoosive right now, and the big purple bruise is looking worse today! I really really hope they dont get any bigger, I swear I would be 2 stone lighter without them!

Rumpel - Do you know the website address for that predictor thingy? Would love to have a go!

minipinkscottish · 09/03/2008 09:34

Morning all!!

Gosh lots of boobs talk! I was a 36B now a 40C. I have fed 4 of the five I have already and they boobs always go down to about 34B after 6 months feeding - like that! It's only after feeding stops that they start to go a bit south

However, I fed my last LO till he was 22 months and was pg when he was 19mths but had mc then was pg again after he turned 2 - boobs were still fairly big at start so OMG they could end up HUGE!!!

Sun is shining here this morning and wee ones out in garden - watching them through french doors!! Had a hellish night 2 year old was sick at 1.30am and was still up at 4.30am. He is full of life tis morning and I am half shut knife!

Also had hair disaster yesterday... am really fed up with myself..fat...frumpy etc so decided to highlight hair! Done this a thousand times before but this time I though I'll put a few PINK highlights in the front..... OMG I look like someone has splashed me with luminous pink paint!! Will have to get something today to repair this...just can't go to work tomorrow like this especially as we have parents night....
Sorry for huge post.....

EEC · 09/03/2008 09:53

Minipink - LOL at pink hair. Whne PG with DS I got so fed up with fat, bloated frumpiness I had a fairly radical haircut at 8 months and HATED it! I guess colour is fixable at least! What does DH think of it?

Minkus · 09/03/2008 10:02

Well you are called minipink ... maybe you chould be called majorlypink now

And big sympathy on being up with your little one, ds also had an upset stomach lst night and at half four this morning I was cleaning up the third lot of pooh from the bathroom floor (bless him at least he'd made it in there where there are tiles)

DS has also made a spectacular recovery whilst I look rancid. DH is running the Silverstone half marathon today (the companion race to the London Marathon) so isn't around to relieve the pressure either. Waaaaaah! Hugs all round needed for us I think!

pigleychez · 09/03/2008 10:50

Morning everyone.

Had a fab night at the Casino last night. Came home with more money than i went with so a succesful night!
Won £50 on the slots from only putting in £3 and won £50 on the roulette wheel from just picking numbers relating to ages and birthdays. First one i picked was number 12 (babys due date) which came in then, then i just kept winning Great fun!
Also won the odd £10/20's here and there.

Was a long night thought as it was about 2hrs drive away and we didnt get in till 3 this morning. Quite proud i managed to stay awake that long- Must have been the buzz of winning!

Re- family resembence
I look just like my mum! The photos of both me and mum as children are identical! everyone comments on how alike we are!-
Dh and I are dark haired. I have brown eyes, His are bluey/grey. Both of us were very cute toddlers!

Bras- Ive been in Maternity bras for ages now. Nothing exciting or glamerous! Just basic Mothercare fabric bras.

Sorry for the huge me post!

Kaz1967 · 09/03/2008 11:01

pigley glad you had a good time

brazilnut64 · 09/03/2008 11:02

Hi all, my cousin has just told me about mumsnet and introduced me to the website. I am due 16th July, this is my first baby. Don't know what sex the baby is. I am brazilian, married to a lovely englishman, and we live in Sussex with our lovely doggie!!!

Bear with me as i try and get to grips with the website!!!

minipinkscottish · 09/03/2008 11:05

DH hates the hair I'm sure but is too afraid of hormonal backlash to say anything - bless him!

I am now dressed and ready to go out to get HAIR CURE - wearing black polo neck and black hat - hee hee! Will get some funny looks as it is actually sunny today!

Loved the suggested name change Minkus but shall give it a miss!!

Kaz1967 · 09/03/2008 11:11

brazilnut64 welcome you are due 2 days before me

pigleychez · 09/03/2008 11:21

Welcome brazilnut64

Where abouts in Sussex are you?
Im in Sussex

sap1066 · 09/03/2008 11:52

Hello all,

I am having a bit of an oh dear my life is about to change and I have no one to talk about it to type day, so I thought I'd join this website and say hello.

I am due on 19 July with my first, conceived after 2 years of trying and I have a scan tomorrow to find out what sort of baby we're getting. Am hoping for a boy, but I'm hardly showing at all so just to find out it was growing properly would be enough.

Am also going a bit mad with buying baby stuff at the moment - nursery bedding is taking over my life!

Kaz1967 · 09/03/2008 12:14

Hello and Welcome sap1066more babies think we are having our own baby boom LOL I have my scan on Tuesday excited and scared.

I am vanishing for a while if I am back before tonight tell me off I have some serious tidying up to do I have the house being valued Wed and Thurs and if I don't get it on the market soon I will still be here when Bump arrives

minipinkscottish · 09/03/2008 14:07

Welcome brazilnut64 and sap1066!! You will love mn.

Well the STUFF is on my hair and waiting for it to work - hope it doesn't make it worse!! As if it could get any worse

bebejones · 09/03/2008 14:40

Have been trying to find a black wrap jersey dress for a while. I want something that is smart enough to wear for work, will look good over jeans, or can be dressed up if we go out. The only one I can find is Isabella Oliver and I just dont know if I can justify spending £90 on one item! You guys are always so good at suggesting things, I thought I would check in to see if you had any bright ideas?

Welcome to all newies by the way!!!

sweetkitty · 09/03/2008 15:09

bebejones - I'm sure Next do a plain black dress so do Topshop both online have a look.

MPS - pink hair fantastic hope the rescue stuff works out though

kaz - best of luck with the tidying up

sap1066/brazilnut64 - hello and welcome to mumsnet, I found this websirte when I was pregnant with my first due July 2004, spent far too much time on it at work but hey fours years later another July baby and I am still addicted to it.

pigley - glad you had a great night sounds like it

Well got DP up the loft for the baby clothes, ended up with hardly a drawer full, loads went in the charity bag though. Reckon I will only need some new vests, sleepsuits and one or two little outfits to start with. You get given so much stuff as presents as well. A friend has offered me a newborn car seat will try it in the car this week (I sold ours with the travel system pram) going to be a tight squeeze getting them all in.

RUMPEL · 09/03/2008 17:40

Hi All,

WELCOME BRAZIL AND SAP

PAULA- that si very nice indeed. I got a ;lovely one from hotmilk - very stretchy and comfy can't bear anyhting digging in below boobs just now.

BEBE - check out ebay.

PIGLEY - you need to put a lotto ticket on now!

MINISCOT - I gave up work when 7 months pg with DD and got my hair highlighted with violet and fuschia - it was lovely at the time but total nightmare growing out. I used to have my hair all clours and bought some megenta dye the other day. I am going to dye my fringe and front locks with it. I love bright colours. Still you need people to take you serioulsy at work and I would always recommend a professional to do it for you to avoid the bird shit/80's look Badly streaked hair and blue eyeliner - remember that? Tee hee!

I have stuff in the loft we never used - kept it for next one. Unisex things.

Had a very productive day today - lots of cleaning and made a jungle/safari print sofa bed cover for the 'playroom'. We have decided to allocate a room for littlies to play in downstairs so am slowly trying to sort it out now. next job is to start a mural on 1 wall - jungle themed.

Unfortunately I have 2 essays and online 'conversation' to participate in for uni Where am I gonna find a brain just now, never mind motivation? Aggggg!

Take care all.
xxx

minipinkscottish · 09/03/2008 18:27

Rumpel I remember the 80's onlt too well - ha! ha!

Pink has gone though and replaced with my usual dirty blonde/light brown!! Am going to get hair done professionally in a couple of months and hopefully it wont be such a disaster!!

Minkus - how's your dc? My ds is a little better but dd started about an hour ago so it looks like another night of it ...ah the joys!

sweetkitty · 09/03/2008 18:39

Been looking at those hotmilk bras they look lovely, have told DP I am definitely investing in some nice feeding bras this time. Thing is with the cheap Mothercare/M&S ones, if you are wearing a white top or even a light coloured top your breastpads show through. I tried lilypadz but they gave me a kind of rash after a day and I found if I were feeding from one side the other side would leak. Don't know what size to get they say not to get measured until a few weeks before birth but even then your size can go up and down. Will probably get one in about a 34D and see how we get on.

HPS - glad your hair is back to normal
