I have. Extremely apprehensive as miscarriage in March and I am 41! Got my positive a day after period was due on a regular 25miu clear blue and today got 2-3 on a CB digital. Keeping everything crossed! I'll be almost 42 when baby arrives, if all goes well x

Congratulations! That's amazing that you have all your dates through already.
I emailed the prenatal services at my chosen hospital last Thursday evening and then got a date by Friday mid-morning!
It's not how it worked a few years ago though I hate to wait ages for a letter and you didn't chose hospital until mid pregnancy!

@froglou that's great you have all those appointments already! When in September are you due?
I have registered with my midwife today and I am going to ask for an early scan due to my missed miscarriage in March and the fact I had retained products for three months before they gave me a hysteroscopy to remove it. Was upsetting and traumatic and don't want to go through that again.
Terrified of miscarriage again, I have three kids and I have had one miscarriage, my age makes me so worried. 41, 42 in September.
Got 2-3 on a CB digital yesterday xx

I got my positive on December 28th and I’m due September 7th.
This is my third pregnancy. First, resulted in my little boy, who was forcefully evacuated in December 2019 at 42+1 (he was far too comfortable), 2nd was a little girl but we sadly lost her, by late miscarriage at 18 weeks last July.
Safe to say I am a nervous ball of energy at the moment! Ticking off the days one by one (it already feels like the longest pregnancy ever 😂) looking forward to getting back to work and distracting myself.

Sorry to hear about your loss. It's no wonder you are worried. Sending lots of love.
Do you have similar symptoms this early as you did with your other pregnancies?
BeichiogrwyddEnfys · 02/01/2023 22:33
I wish I could remember!
I think similar - I’m definitely more tired, my nose gets stuffy straight away, and I’m so bloated. My boobs were itchy yesterday and look fuller today also. I’m also not sure if I’m imagining a bit of nausea here and there. It’s still early though - not 5 weeks until Thursday!
I don’t remember having as many symptoms last time as I did the first time.
How are your symptoms?

Hey girls 🙌🏼 Hope you don’t mind me joining in.. have been trying the last 7 months and on New Year’s Eve at 9DPO I started vomiting very randomly so decided to test and we got a faint positive. Have tested every day since with good line progression and a clear Pregnant 1-2 on CB digital and my god the nausea is crippling. I have one other child who is 8 and I never had any sickness on her or any symptoms really, a missed period was the giveaway on her 😅 AF not due till Thursday so I’m a mixed bag of emotions at the minute 😅 once everything goes ok I should be due 15th September 🤞🏼💙💗 Conrats to all of you ladies too.. exciting times ahead 🥰
FarmBaby3 · 03/01/2023 18:13
Congratulations @Emz30
If you can get a prescription for anti sickness now then it should start to kick in and give you some relief. cyclizine is what I had first when pregnant with my daughter but it didn't touch the sides so I had ondansetron after that which was magical stuff!

I had much darker, tingly nipples which took me by surprise!
I'm always so fascinated by our bodies reaction.
