Welcome back ladies. Here we are, second trimester 🥰

Has anybody had extra discharge when they do more activity?
I have had an energy burst today ha, and spent the whole morning cleaning downstairs- the house looks like my home again now I got a bit of energy back! Just sat down now for half hour before work and my discharge is a lot more than when ive no energy and lounge for the day, no blood just watery discharge!

When I was weighed at the 12 week scan I had lost weight, but feeling a bit more myself now and keeping food down so I’m sure I will fatten up soon lol. The baby was 4oz at my NIPT scan and they’re usually about 1lb by 20 weeks so I guess that sounds about right @Chocolat !

Mad to think half the pregnancy is spent them getting to just 1 pound then they times that by 7ish by the time they’re born!

Thanks @Cuppasoupmonster and @Chocolat, glad to know I'm not the only one but sorry to hear that you're both dizzy too. I've never had blood pressure issues and when I checked yday it was normal. Will see how it goes.

If you think about it it makes sense, all that extra blood flow around the womb.

Still waiting for NIPT results - bloods taken last Thursday and she told me to expect them ‘towards the end of this week’. But I’m impatient! Hurry up!

Wow this thread has moved since I last came on. I've been super duper busy with my wedding and missed so much. How are you ladies getting on?
I went for gender scan today and I'm having a girl! She was licking the placenta which was quite weird but so funny! Xx

Pram chat: my pram which I love for DC1 isn't compatible with buggyboards (apparently) or converting to a double with a second seat/bassinet attachment so I'll have to use a sling for baby and pushchair for toddler or invest in a whole new kit 😩 so think ahead if you can ladies!

@MamaMenna apparently it's if you eat sweet stuff? Not sure how true that is! Probs the wedding cake I ate for brekky 😂

@Margo34 yes! Was worried I wouldn't fit into my dress, but managed to squeeze myself in it. Thank you so much! Can finally start focussing on the baby, can't wait to start buying stuff now! Xxx

@Margo34 I'm all for the pram chat. My parents live abroad and are visiting for Christmas so my mum has asked me to get a list together and we can go check some out in December! Would love to hear recommendations of favourite prams. No real budget as parents are kindly gifting it but my in laws live on a farm so something sturdy that will deal with farm road walks?

Mine is good for more urban or suburban lifestyle and wouldn't be so good for off-roading or farm walks (I've tried 🤣).

Something with suspension and decent puncture proof wheels for you I'd say! Maybe one of the Out n About brand?

@Cuppasoupmonster I’m also impatiently waiting for my NIPT back, I had my blood taken last Tuesday but it wasn’t sent off until weds morning. Really thought it might be today!!

Since the sickness eased off I’ve been craving bacon butties, burgers, cream cakes 🤯 I feel like my body is trying to make up for all the calories I didn’t get when I was living off a round of toast and a few biscuits every day!
