To whoever asked about vivid dreams. Mine are nuts. So real too, and although
weird, they are so clever and well thought out!

Amazing during the night, if you are physically getting up, Greek yoghurt as it’s casein protein and slower release, or if you can have carbs, oats before bed with a protein source (whey/casein/egg whites). Xx

Skylark1990 · 18/10/2022 21:18

Due date is 7 April (as you know @Cuppasoupmonster 😏) and we are team yellow this time. Second time mum.

Re prams, if you want all terrain get one that has suspension in the wheels.

We have the bugaboo chameleon 3 and had it since birth, the pram then buggy attachment, and it's great, we also got a cosatto woosh more recently for city strolls and traveling as it folds down nice and small but it's not as good for younger babies.

eBay is great for second hand bundles!

allfurcoatnoknickers · 18/10/2022 21:22

@Cuppasoupmonster Due April 28th. Second baby. Don't know the sex yet!

@Biscuitsplease I live in a big city so my pram is basically my car, but I know by suburban/rural relatives use theirs a lot less. You still need one though!

PiggyBean · 18/10/2022 21:33

@Cuppasoupmonster that's a lovely idea!
I'm due 20th April, first baby. No idea on sex yet hopefully will find out at the 20 week scan 😊

@xalexandra I've been getting random sharp pains too recently and like you can't help but worry after previous mcs. Most likely a lot of stretching and stuff going on down there. As long as there's no bleeding hopefully it's all ok x

PiggyBean · 18/10/2022 21:33

@Hannah223344 congrats on baby boy! 💙

MummyOfBoys2022 · 18/10/2022 21:37

Nice to see how everyone is getting on

AliceinSlumberland · 18/10/2022 21:49

Been such a super busy day at work today so I’m a bit behind but caught up now! I thinking I’m going to go and have a look at prams and see. I need something that will fit on the back seat so can’t be too big but also want something that can manage a slightly bumpy path . It feels like those two requirements don’t really go together!!

@Cuppasoupmonster im exactly the same as @KennAdams ! Due date 16.04 but will have an ELCS so will be slightly earlier, I’m happy for you to just put my due date though. Hopefully find out the gender today or tomorrow!!

AliceinSlumberland · 18/10/2022 21:49

Tomorrow or Thursday I meant, today is basically over 🙄🙄

MummyOfBoys2022 · 18/10/2022 21:50

Anyone due April 23rd same as me?

Hannah223344 · 18/10/2022 22:22

Thanks everyone!

@Cuppasoupmonster no nub guesses, but I'm pretty sure it wasn't visible on the scan anyway 😀 ... hope your NIPT results come through soon, mine were back earlier than expected.

On the list front - 21st April, 1st timer, boy

Indianna2006 · 18/10/2022 22:29

@Cuppasoupmonster due date 22nd April. Sex unknown. Second time mum. Have a 4 year old DD.

I had the egg pram with my DD. My in laws paid a lot for it as it was fairly new out at the time as this was nearly 5 years ago now. I got the navy and tan one. Don’t think they no longer do that colour. But I also got the luxury leather tan changing bag 😂🤣
But I LOVED it. We have it in the garage and it’s still immaculate so will be used for this little one. It was just a dream to push and steer tbh. And has a one handed fold down.

Missgemini · 18/10/2022 23:05

@cheekysausage I did the sneakpeek too and got boy. Like you, I’m also worried that I may have picked up a stray male dna from my DH or toddler.

@LauraA31 I have had the most ridiculous dreams too. They just get more insane with each day that passes haha

@Cuppasoupmonster I'm due on the 23rd of April. Sneakpeek and YOU (haha) say it’s a boy. We’ll wait and see!

LauraA31 · 18/10/2022 23:28

@Missgemini haha i am at work but due to finish within the hour, just sat thinking what strange dreams im going to end up having tonight 😂😂

Ah new thread!!
Checking in / saying hi! Need to read through this new one and catch up with everyone. Still feeling really nauseous In the evenings at 14 weeks - anyone else? Really think it had passed by this point last time

Tubbytele · 19/10/2022 09:37

Morning all. Has anyone had dizzy spells while getting up from lying down or vice versa? I've checked my glucose level and blood pressure, both normal but been having this dizziness specifically when changing positions. Any ideas? Midwife yday thought it could be dehydration but that didn't change anything. Thinking to call GP if it continues today.

Cuppasoupmonster · 19/10/2022 09:39

Tubby I’ve had that since getting pregnant and sometimes before - I’ve never got to the bottom of it and just treat it as a normal pregnancy symptom now! It’s usually related to blood pressure, mine is usually a little on the low side. Also being tall (I’m quite tall) can make it more likely apparently. It’s a pain though and I really hate the sensation!

Yes me. Threw up all my dinner last night 😭 days are generally ok but it comes on strongly again at about 5pm. Annoying!

Morning everyone happy hump day 🍁🍂 it's so cold this morning in Scotland!

Nipped to my local Aldi this morning to check if they had any Next to me cribs but none of stock. I've sent out a mass text to friends and family to keep an eye out in their local stores 😂

DBS94 · 19/10/2022 09:53

Pommy1 · 18/10/2022 21:12

@DBS94 i just lost my reply to you but I’m essence… the duo do camera probe is our friend compared to the smear experience. Try to relax and it’s effects easier, it doesn’t hurt at alllll and you get to wave at the baby in your snow stormy tele :)

@Pommy1 thanks lovely!! I'm just focusing on the fact I'll get to see baby again. You have all made me feel more at ease about it so thank you ✨

Hoping I can get another pic of baby with a nub on show 🤞🏽

Evenings are awful for me at the moment. Lunchtime is the best time and I almost feel normal then so I have hope the rest will follow! I'm definitely a lot better than I was a few weeks ago and I'm thankful for that. I can't imagine having horrendous sickness through the whole pregnancy.

Last time I was fine by 16/17 weeks so that's my benchmark, not sure how I'll feel if I'm still sick after that this time!!

Chocolat · 19/10/2022 09:57

Ive also had a bit of dizziness on and off. Usually have to sit down. Also put it down to being pregnancy related as I’ve never had issues with BP before.

Was just reading on the flo app that my belly will grow twice the size it is and so will baby in the next 3 weeks 😳 (currently 16+2) think I’ll definitely feel pregnant then, still just feeling a bit fat and bloated.

LauraA31 · 19/10/2022 10:03

Morning ladies!

13 weeks today, got my NHS scan tomorrow afternoon! Boyfriend thinks the time is flying by but for me it’s going so so slow!

Longbin · 19/10/2022 10:08

@Chocolat I'm 6+2 too and just feel like I've put on loads of weight. At the start I looked more round but recently people have said I don't look pregnant, which is basically just them saying I look fat, considering in 2 sizes bigger!

Chocolat · 19/10/2022 10:31

@longbin ooh due date twin!
yes I don’t really like this part 😅. I’ve already put on 5kg 😳. Looking forward to feeling some movement and actually looking pregnant which doesn’t seem too long away now

limoncelloo · 19/10/2022 13:04

@Cuppasoupmonster my edd is 29/03 with a baby girl, am I allowed on the list 🙈?
I've been in here since the beginning, my original due date was the 2/4 🥰
