@Cuppasoupmonster you are absolutely singing to the choir here, I feel ya!! My husband is brill and has been trying more with jobs but sometimes it's just easier if I do them myself, as you say jobs half done. He'll empty the dishwasher but not refill it with the stuff from the sink or hang the washing up but do it badly it's sooo frustrating! My house has never been so untidy and the pile of clean washing in the bedroom it piled high needing to be put away but I just can't find the energy. Be kind to yourself and prioritise 💕

Emeal123 · 18/10/2022 16:39

Eeekk so hard to keep up trying to catch up on all the messages! So exciting to read that some have felt movements, I’m hoping I feel them soon! I was about 17/18 weeks when I first felt little flutters with my son but seems like some of you are feeling them earlier after the first baby xx

Hannah223344 · 18/10/2022 17:48

We found out we're having a boy today!! 💙

Cuppasoupmonster · 18/10/2022 17:53

Awww congrats @Hannah223344 💙 did I do you a guess?

still waiting for NIPT results but should be here by Friday! We should get a list going of due dates and whether boys/girls?

As current OP if people want to put their due date and sex of baby I will happily draw up a list to modify! Also first/second time mum etc?

I’ve been silently reading along the whole time. Adding the odd bit occasionally but I have a question to all those experts out there.
This will be my first baby and I’ve started to buy a few clothes now at 14 1/2 weeks. Can people please enlighten me as to quantities of clothing you’re buying and of what type considering we’re having spring going into summer babies.
as a first timer I feel like I’m wandering around aimlessly 😂

LauraA31 · 18/10/2022 17:57

@Cuppasoupmonster that is a brilliant idea!
Im due on 26/04/2023 and don’t know what we are having yet, finding out on 12th November… first time mum too! 😅

LauraA31 · 18/10/2022 17:57

@Hannah223344 congratulations!! 😅

@Longbin something to think about, thanks lovely! On a side note my MIL has an old silver cross pram that she had for my DH (who is now almost 30) that's been out in a leaky crate for all those years. She is hell bent on getting it 'cleaned up' and it's giving me heart palpitations thinking about it 😂😂

Change of direction but is anyone feeling pressure when they pee? I'm 15 weeks tomorrow and feel like I definitely need to wee more often and I feel like I'm desperate to go but it's only a little bit at times. It doesn't feel like a UTI, not sure if there's pressure on my bladder but it's annoying!

Yes to the wee thing, it's so annoying and I've been wondering what's going on here ...

tattlytote · 18/10/2022 18:15

@Cuppasoupmonster thanks. I'm due 12/4 with DC 2, and am having a boy this time round ☺️

Cuppasoupmonster · 18/10/2022 18:27

Compiling the list on Notes and will upload one finished ✅

Just threw up an entire chilli con carne. Worst vomit yet, could hardly breathe 😱

Hello everyone! Thanks for all your helpful lists, tips and company. I’m due April 5th, my first baby, and thinking I’ll wait until the birth to find out the sex.

I felt like a total nauseous zombie the first trimester, just clawed my way through the days, but feeling much more human now, excluding the constant stream of coughs and colds.

Does anyone else feel like their bump comes and goes? Some days I look super pregnant and other days I think I almost look the same as ever. Very excited to hear about some of you feeling your babies! I can’t wait to feel mine. Fingers crossed soon.

Emeal123 · 18/10/2022 18:32

@DBS94 same with the needing to wee thing!! I feel like first one of the day is a normal one and then after that I’m constantly going for a little one lol

@Hannah223344 congrats on finding out you’re having a boy!!

@Cuppasoupmonster great idea - i am due 11th April, don’t know the sex yet. Second time mum xx

appleandcheese · 18/10/2022 18:37

@Cuppasoupmonster nice idea! Due 18th April, first time mum and not finding out the sex. ☺️

xalexandra · 18/10/2022 18:43

@Cuppasoupmonster lovely idea! I'm due 20th April, first time!! No idea what to expect for anything! 😬

bluebubbles12 · 18/10/2022 18:54

Due 4th April, second baby and finding out the sex on 14th November (so far managing to resist going for an early scan, but it's hard knowing that we could just go and find out now!!)

Tubbytele · 18/10/2022 18:56

@Cuppasoupmonster thanks, it's a great idea. I'm due 14th April, don't know sex of the baby yet, 2nd time mum

Erber · 18/10/2022 19:05

I'm due 4th April, won't be finding out the sex as I like to leave it a surprise until the end and I'm a 3rd time mum!

Biscuitsplease · 18/10/2022 19:07

@Cuppasoupmonster great idea! I'm first time mum, due on 2nd April and having a girl ! ❤️

Gilm0reGirl · 18/10/2022 19:09

@Cuppasoupmonster great idea! Due 21st April and we won't be finding out if it's a boy or girl.

SearchingTheSkies · 18/10/2022 19:11

@Cuppasoupmonster I'm due 2/4/23. Second time mum and not sure what we're having yet.

My DH is similar. He tries, but the jobs are never fully finished. It drives me mad, but he just doesn't seem to see it. I actually enjoy cleaning/ tidying usually, but bending down is a big trigger for my sickness. Roll on feeling better!

Biscuitsplease · 18/10/2022 19:14

Has anyone started looking at prams yet? I don't even know where to begin, have mixed recommendations from friends... some that used their pram loads and others that are saying not to get one initially! I was thinking of getting a second hand pram and a new compatible car seat as I can't quite get my head around that travel systems are £1k+!!! I have two largedogs and live rural(ish) so will definitely be using a sling/carrier as well.

Longbin · 18/10/2022 19:22

@Biscuitsplease there is no way I could survive without a pram. I also live in a rural area. You could struggle to walk at all after the birth, let alone with a baby strapped to you. Some babies don't even like carriers

Springblooms08 · 18/10/2022 19:25

@Cuppasoupmonster lovely idea thank you for compiling! I’m due 21st April with my first and I don’t know the sex yet but will find out at 20 week scan!

Marshmallowmountain · 18/10/2022 19:28

@DBS94 im also getting the wee thing! I’m only 13w but feel like I need to wee all the time, and then when I go it’s a tiny little drip, it’s so frustrating!
