HELLO ALL JUST FOUND OUT IM PREGNANT AND I AM SO SO EXCITED!!!!!

THIS WILL BE MY SECOND BABY AND I HAVE BEEN TRYING FOR MONTHS AND NOW ITS REALLY HAPPENING!!![GRIN]

annwoo - i was seeing a differernt MW at every appointment and had to keep repeating myself telling then what was going on etc. the hospital broke my blood vial so had to have tests again then lost the paperwork for my STD results which luckily was retrievable. heard lots of horror stories from friends who had their baby at the same hospital as me like my friend had had cs so could barely move and her colostomy bag thing was leakiing everywhere all over the floor etc! gross.
still no symptoms and 5 weeks tomorrow!! aarrggh

was very sick this morning and just feel like curling into a ball and sleeping but of course my ds has a clod and wants cuddles all day and my heating is getting fixed and and i am getting a new roof on my shed so i will be busy all day

this time round is so much harder a you could always ahve a wee nap when you wanted but when you have other kids its not as easy.

i definately feel different with this pregnancy maybe its agirl or twins or maybe its the clomid i dont know but i think this will be my last as i hate being pregnant

Morning all. Poor you Sambrads. I don't feel pregnancy sick yet but have stinking cold and one of my eyes is still gunked up. Also have begun to get that pregnancy-related insomnia. Woke up at 4.30 for the day today and am sitting at my desk with my face practically resting on my keyboard. I am also in a permanently bad mood. Which is just silly since I am really pleased to be pregnant!

may i dip my toe in please? im not really here yet but got a bfp yesterday at 9dpo and by my estimation am due 17th october!

Sambrads, this sounds mad but I do envy your sickness symptoms. I kind of want to feel sick so I know everything is ok. I got really bad morning sickness with dd. I'm sure I'll regret saying that when I start running off to be sick at work.

Sydney, I've been having a bout of insomnia too. It's highly frustrating!

5 weeks today. Tummy getting bigger. Twins in my family to! Now getting a tiny bit concerned as didnt get any size increase for weeks with 2 DD's!!!

Im back from my scan, pretty much the same, sac is measuring bang on for 5+1 and she can see "something" in there but tis too early to detect heartbeat. Gotta ring up at 3pm for HCG results.

TBH Im already sick of all this will it be ok or wont it! Ive had 3 scans now, all of which I know is way to early to properly tell me if its gonna be ok. If they suggest scanning me again this week Im gonna ask them to wait till im over 6 week sIll know for sure then

Just booked doc appt for Monday 11th. Receptionist said he'd prob re-test me, and now I'm irrationally worried it'll be a BFN - despite doing three positive tests over the weekend. I keep willing the little seed-like thing to hold on tight! I'm already convinced it's a boy, even though it's probably nothing yet. 5 weeks today!

Sorry about all the exclamation marks, I feel like my head it one big !!!!! right now. Although no symptoms, except for a pinging feeling in my right ovary on Saturday night, but I think that might be psychosomatic... And lots of things that keep making me think AF is on way. I keep going to the loo and checking.

daisy - thanks, so do you not have any symptoms then? i have mild AF like cramping, and that is it. i am going on about these bloody symptoms, sorry everyone!

bethoo i have had AF like cramps too so dont worry its normal!

Julezboo - are your cramps regular or few and far between?

julezboo- mine i very regular, almost constant which does lead me to think that this pregnancy is not going to last sadly.

• why dont you give your epau a call? Tehy can reassure you with bloods. Although too early for scans

tbh im under the impression this one wont make it too, had 5 mc's and the midwife who does my scans so far has been very ngeative.

longterm lurker throughout first pregnancy (ds was one last week) but thought I would join for pregnancy 2.

had a bfp on sunday meaning due date 14th oct.

feel sick already - which I didn't with ds - so wondering if different reaction means it is a girl ... wishful thinking??

Anyway, when do you think I should go to the gp and tell him the good news?

Im tring lissie! The midwife who has done 2 out of the 3 scans seems to think its doomed, she keep sasking me if im sure ive not had any bleeding. I inspect the paper everytime i pee FGS!! Im pretty certain

Please don't all feel so negative! I know it's inevitable that we won't all make it, but there's no reason to assume that you will be the ones who don't.

Julez - do you think the sonographer is just trying not to get your hopes up because of your history?

I always recommend going to GP early, so they can process your maternity exemption and have you in the system.

hi lissielou. Congratulations to you too. It sounds like you have had a tough time so I am even more pleased for you and your wonderful news. 71% sounds good to me - I am sure you will be fine.

she probably alluding to implantation. unfortunately those of us with a history of recurrent mc will have things a bit tougher (no disrespect to anyone who doesnt) but no bleeding is good. can you ask for a different sonographer next time? remarks like that cant help matters!

Maybe CSWS but i dunno she seem pretty convinced when she did my first scan that it was an ectopic preg but in my scar tissue, the consultant did the scan the next day (not much could have changed) and the preg sac was a good few inches away from scar tissue so Im not so sure she knows whats shes doing I still have hope giving that the preg sac is measuring right for dates and there appears to be something in the sac so its looking good and my hcg is pretty high at 5223, 2 more mins and i wil give them a ring!
