I’m 6 week 0 days today and STILL no symptoms. This is an ivf pregnancy. My scan is tomorrow.

I’m on a group of ladies who had ivf at the same time and they’ve all got slight nausea and sore boobs! I’ve got nothing.

I think this will be another miscarriage to add to my list 😭

@watchingtheflowersgrow congratulations on the BFP! You're very welcome in the group but will be a little earlier on than most of us (I'm just over 7 weeks), so completely up to you. I'm sure there will be other birth groups or you can set one up yourself, but you're very welcome to join us if you'd like :)

@RainbowBubbles22 I'm so sorry for your losses, I have only had one MC and it's made me very anxious so can't imagine how worried you're feeling. It's completely normal to not have any symptoms at 6 weeks, many of my friends didn't have symptoms for their whole first trimester and have had happy healthy babies. Are you able to get an early scan to check everything is ok?

@LittleMrsMama

Thank you.
I have a scan tomorrow afternoon xxx

LittleMrsMama · 13/04/2022 16:35

I'll be thinking of you @RainbowBubbles22 please let us know how you get on. Are you a able to do anything nice this evening to keep your mind off of things?

Stargazer89 · 14/04/2022 09:19

good luck @RainbowBubbles22 for your scan. If it is any reassurance I didn't have any symptoms with my daughter but then I had sore boobs and food aversions with my first miscarriage.

I know plenty of friends who have sailed through pregnancies with no symptoms. I know it's so hard not to worry though and i am not feeling positive about my current pregnancy. I am also 6 weeks 1 day x

RainbowBubbles22 · 14/04/2022 10:58

Thank you.
I’m petrified. My scan is at 2:30pm. I’m 6 weeks 1 day.
I’ve always miscarried between 8 and 11 weeks before so not sure how much reassurance even a good scan today will give me x

AlbaGirl8 · 14/04/2022 13:25

All the best for today @RainbowBubbles22 💜💜

LittleMrsMama · 15/04/2022 15:41

Thinking of you @RainbowBubbles22 and hope you got on ok!

Anyone else have scans coming up? How's everyone feeling?

hi @LittleMrsMama thanks for checking in. I have been feeling quite nauseous but not actually been sick. not got a scan booked yet but think i will do for next weekend. How about you?

Thinking of you @RainbowBubbles22 hope it went well yesterday x

BabyBird20 · 15/04/2022 20:51

Hi @LittleMrsMama and everyone! I've been a bit quiet in here as my dh is away for two weeks, I've had sinusitis and the worst nausea ever and my son has chickenpox! Blimey it's been hard work! I've had a few days where I just couldnt eat anything and now I'm basically just on plain carbs like salty potatoes or pasta with a bit of cheese. Normally I eat loads of chocolate and biscuits but can't face it at all which is most unlike me! I have a 5 pack of creme eggs waiting for when I perk up a bit!! 😬😂

LittleMrsMama · 16/04/2022 15:47

@Stargazer89 good luck for the scan next weekend if you do go ahead. I know how exciting but nerve wrecking they can be at the same time!

@BabyBird20 that sounds like a tough 2 weeks! I couldn't even cope for a day without DH around looking after DD.

Sorry to hear you both have nausea, it's the worst at Easter time too when we should be eating chocolate and enjoying this glorious sunshine and long weekend.

Sadly my nausea and vomiting got worse and worse (I was in double figures per hour) and I was hospitalised and diagnosed with HG last week. I can't seem to hold anything down, even water. I'm on tablets now which have helped a little as managing to drink very cold water without throwing it up but still throwing up any food I eat. It's been going on for over 2 weeks now so really worried baby isn't getting any nutrients :( x

Oh no @LittleMrsMama that sounds horrific! My friend had awful HG first time round and was sofa/bed bound for a long time. How many weeks are you? I think they get all the nutrients they need from their own little yolk sac at this stage so don't worry about them too much nutritionally! Are you able to keep down a vitamin tablet at all? I hope the tablets continue to improve things for you!! Big hugs xx

AlbaGirl8 · 17/04/2022 17:14

Sounds really tough @LittleMrsMama. I had severe sickness within my first pregnancy (not quite HG, but was close). I had the same worries as you, as I barely ate more than crackers and biscuits from weeks 5-17, BUT I have a happy, healthy DD, who was born a nice chunky 8lb 5oz. The baby will take all the nutrition it can get from whatever you manage, so don’t worry, it’s just you that’s left feeling awful! 💜 sending love and hugs, it’s not easy! X

Amipreg1 · 19/04/2022 14:42

Hi everyone. Hope you're all doing OK. The sickness hit me last week. I had HG with my first which was horrendous so I had a feeling I would be bad again this time. I'm on medication which seems to be helping slightly so not quite as bad as with my first thankfully.
We had an early scan today, saw babies heartbeat which was lovely! Dates are pretty much spot on as well. Huge relief!
Has anyone else had scans yet?

Due end November/early December
MariaDingbat · 19/04/2022 20:01

Great scan news @Amipreg1!! I'm sorry to hear your feeling poorly though.

I'm 7 weeks tomorrow and have been hit with terrible nausea this week. It is way worse than with my daughter. Blah. Anybody got hints on dealing with looking after a toddler when moving quickly makes you want to be sick? :) I've a scan booked for next Weds too, so I'm counting the days down till then.

AlbaGirl8 · 25/04/2022 21:38

Hi all, how’s everyone doing? I had an early scan today, and all is looking well with our little wriggler. Measuring a week ahead of what I thought as well, so bonus! 9wks + 1, due 27th Nov! Seeing that little heart going makes all the yucky feelings worth it! 💗💙
