I'm really sorry to hear @Charl881 . I had a miscarriage in January and it was so tough. There are some great support groups on here though that I hope provide help to you as they did to me. One thing that really helped was knowing that a little part of the baby's dna will always be with me. It's called Microchimerism when you're ready to look it up.

@scoutcat - I'm sorry to hear about your eptopic and I'm really pleased you'll have the extra support for this pregnancy. I hope the 10 days go quickly for you!

Hi, can I join please? I got my BFP this morning, I'm due #2 4th December, my DD will be 21 months!
This is my 4th pregnancy in the last 8 months so I'm being cautiously hopeful that this one goes the whole way.

Stargazer89 · 29/03/2022 17:08

Hi ladies. I have just had a bfp after a miscarriage in november and then again last month. hoping it's 3rd time lucky. We already have a daughter who is 21 months.

Stargazer89 · 29/03/2022 17:17

Forgot to mention that this is def a new pregnancy because last time my line never got darker so had bloods monitored to make sure it wasn't ectopic. I haven't had a period since but i had a positive ovulation test 14 days ago.
I am keeping fingers crossed for us all.

scoutcat · 29/03/2022 17:18

So sorry @Charl881. Look after yourself. ❤️

@MochaHoldTheMilkAndCoffee @Stargazer89 welcome to the group!

scoutcat · 29/03/2022 17:20

@Stargazer89 @MochaHoldTheMilkAndCoffee I also meant to say that there are a few of us in here who have also experienced losses so any anxiety you do have we completely understand!

Stargazer89 · 29/03/2022 17:24

@scoutcat thank you for the welcome 😊

MochaHoldTheMilkAndCoffee · 29/03/2022 19:01

Thanks @scoutcat
Is anyone else planning on an early scan?
I've one booked for 13th April when I'll be 6/7weeks

Stargazer89 · 29/03/2022 19:23

@MochaHoldTheMilkAndCoffee yes i am def going to book an early scan. Thinking of booking one around 7/8 weeks.
I'm getting abit stressed already because I just did a cheap sainsburys test and just read that they are rubbish and give false positives. Will do a clear blue tomorrow.

sellingupslow · 29/03/2022 19:35

Hi everyone,

Hope it's ok to join! I got my BFP on Friday, was a bit of a surprise/shock but I'm now feeling so excited. I am however feeling really nervous because my lines aren't getting any darker on the FRER's 😢 I did a clear blue digital on Sunday evening and it said 1-2 weeks and I did one this afternoon and it said 2-3 so I guess that's a good sign but the fact that my lines aren't getting darker is really making me anxious 😢
With my last pregnancy I also got positive OPKs before my BFP but now I don't even have a positive opk and I'm 4+2 (due December 3rd)

MochaHoldTheMilkAndCoffee · 29/03/2022 19:37

I wish I had the patience to wait a week longer too, I know the risk of a 6 week scan being too early but I'm so impatient!
I'm a POAS addict so I'd always encourage buying more

Stargazer89 · 29/03/2022 20:11

@sellingupslow i'd take your clear blue dates going up as a good sign. with my last miscarriage mine took ages to go from 1-2 weeks to 2-3 and then never progressed from there. Is it true about the positive OPKs being a sign of pregnancy?

sellingupslow · 29/03/2022 20:23

@Stargazer89 sorry to hear about your last miscarriage.

It was true when I was pregnant with DD. I found out I was pregnant using an OPK and it stayed dark but I've read a lot of conflicting info on them!

I have an early scan booked for the 12th April to put my mind at ease 🤞🏼

BabyBird20 · 29/03/2022 20:56

Hi ladies, I'm having some major anxiety as just had some some spots of bright red blood when I wiped 😱 Trying hard not to panic, Hoping it's from where I've wiped so much with all the peeing and knicker checking I've been doing! I'm 5 weeks today so hot a couple of weeks to wait before I can have my early scan!

scoutcat · 29/03/2022 21:45

@BabyBird20 oh no! I'm so sorry to hear that. I'm feeling very sore after all the wiping and knicker checking so it could plausibly be that! Could you ring your GP in the morning if you're feeling worried? Mine have been great at referring me for a scan at EPU in that scenario.

BabyBird20 · 30/03/2022 06:52

Thanks @scoutcat , I had a bit more last night but nothing since so not sure if it's worth a call or not as my gp are really reluctant to refer at this early stage 😢 If it happens again though I think I will. It's just like your heart stops when it happens doesn't it!

scoutcat · 30/03/2022 07:13

How many weeks are you? Thinking back to my last pregnancy my GP wouldn't refer me until I was 6 weeks and it was a bit of a waiting game but when I did hit 6 weeks I ran them straight away and asked for a referral, which they did.

Stargazer89 · 30/03/2022 07:44

@BabyBird20 sorry to hear you are going through a worrying time. I know many people who have had spots of blood and also bleeding in early pregnancy and have gone on to have healthy babies. However i'm not sure what is common practice at your EPU but the nurse told me that if i was to get any bleeding in future pregnancy's because of previous miscarriages they would scan and if everything is in right place then they would offer me progesterone. Apparently it use to be after 3 losses but now it's changed to after 1.

LittleMrsMama · 30/03/2022 08:11

Welcome @sellingupslow @MochaHoldTheMilkAndCoffee and @Stargazer89

as @scoutcat said quite a few of us have had pregnancy losses and are here if you want to talk. I've been reading this book which has been a huge help Pregnancy After Loss: A day-by-day plan to reassure and comfort you www.amazon.co.uk/dp/1409195945/ref=cmswrcpapiiWDRQZTNPV5V3ZHFG1W28

@sellingupslow i feel it's a positive sign that the clear blue test has progressed even if your lines haven't as much as you'd hoped. If you want to share any pics with us for our honest opinions feel free.

@BabyBird20 hope the spotting continues to stop or isn't anything sinister :( if it helps at all I had spotting in January which turned into loads of blood within a few hours so I think it's a good sign it's stopped. Lots of people have spotting and have very healthy pregnancies

I have an early scan this weekend! Been throwing up and feeling awful which I'm hoping are good signs. I think I'll be 6 weeks exactly and so I'm a bit worried they won't be able to see anything

Thank you for posting about that book @LittleMrsMama - I've just ordered it and it's coming tomorrow.

I'm currently 5+2 which is when I started bleeding with my ectopic so I'm on high alert today! I did my last pregnancy test this morning though and got a slight dye stealer which I'm trying to focus on as a positive!

Stargazer89 · 30/03/2022 08:22

Thanks @LittleMrsMama I have also just ordered the book too. I think I recognise your user name from a previous thread 😊

A dye stealer has got to be a good sign. Are you having an early scan because of previous ectopic?

scoutcat · 30/03/2022 08:50

@Stargazer89 Yes my scan is a week tomorrow and I'm so scared! 😖

Stargazer89 · 30/03/2022 10:10

@scoutcat ohh good luck for next week. it's exciting but scary at the same time.
I just did a clear blue and had a nice strong positive which i didn't get last time so hoping that's good!

Sunsh1ne87 · 30/03/2022 10:58

I have my early scan booked for 24th April, I will be 8+4...can I wait that long! Should I change it to sooner?!

sellingupslow · 30/03/2022 12:57

@LittleMrsMama thank you :)

I have attached my pics, the pink dye FRER's are in order from last Friday and don't seem to be getting any darker. The clearblue's are from yesterday!

Sorry I know I sound crazy and pathetic but something just doesn't feel right
