Great news about the scan @LittleMrsMama

That's a v positive test @sellingupslow!

I've been called for an early scan by my local EPU due to my medication. I wasn't even worried about it before but now I am panicking that the tablets I took pre BFP have done some harm. The scan is on Friday, I'm nervous.

I'm limiting myself to one coffee or tea a day and only one can of pop, I have a terrible pop habit which I need to break. Not even counting the caffeine in chocolate 😂

My boobs hurt on and off and I feel slightly sick for short amounts of time but then it goes. I've spent the weekend in Prague for my birthday so I've been a bit distracted from symptom spotting. This is the worse place for a pregnant woman - all the meat here is serve raw or pink - I've been living on bread!

sellingupslow · 04/04/2022 18:50

@MochaHoldTheMilkAndCoffee good luck for Friday, I'm sure everything will just fine xx it's so hard not to panic about every little thing isn't it! how many weeks will you be on Friday?

My clear blue test went back up to 2-3 but I have a scan at the EPU tomorrow although I'll only be 5+2 so doubt we'd even see anything if everything was ok. Just feeling so deflated by it all and just wish I could stop stressing

MochaHoldTheMilkAndCoffee · 04/04/2022 19:30

Thank you, its just impossible not to worry. I'm on the highest alert for symptoms too, I want them all!

I've come home to a letter for an appointment with a consultant tomorrow afternoon, last time I didn't see anyone until I was 12w so I'm curious as to why they want to see me so soon. I'm 5w5 - I'll be 6w 4 for my scan.

Best of luck, let us know how you get on, I'll be thinking of you xx

LittleMrsMama · 05/04/2022 07:19

Good luck for the scan @MochaHoldTheMilkAndCoffee I'm sure if they were really worried they would bring you in immediately as can scan from 5 weeks so hopefully that's a good sign.

Good luck for the scan today @sellingupslow I'm sure they'll be able to see the yolk sac but maybe not the baby at this stage and almost definitely no heartbeat so good to prep yourself for that. When I had my scan on the weekend I'm not sure why but I was expecting to see so much more!

I agree @Stargazer89 running after a toddler when pregnant is so tiring!!! I remember the lovely relaxing life of my first pregnancy

Good luck for your scans ladies! I have booked one for 25th April, which is the day after my DD’s birthday, think I’ll be just over 8 weeks.
Today I have a poorly DD who was up through the night vomiting, I’ve been feel so nauseas the last few days and have vomited once, DH is working, my mum is currently unwell and unable to help, and my MIL has just had a major op! So I guess we’re on our own today! Wish me luck 🤦🏻‍♀️ second pregnancies are definitely not as relaxing as first!!

Hannahbobs · 05/04/2022 09:25

Good luck for the scans! I'm currently 6+4 and tempted to book one (had one at 8 weeks with DD) but its hard to find the time with work/childcare! Last time we were carefree and went in the evening Grin
Totally agree @AlbaGirl8 second pregnancies are not as relaxing! I'm starting to feel sick today and could really have done with a lie in and breakfast in bed, not my 15 month old bouncing around everywhere at 6.20am!

sellingupslow · 05/04/2022 12:06

Afternoon ☺️ I had the scan, they couldn't see anything at all unfortunately so it's not looking good. They've done bloods which I should get back this afternoon.

LittleMrsMama · 05/04/2022 13:17

@sellingupslow I'm so so sorry to hear that. Keeping my fingers crossed it was just to early to see something and the bloods come up ok. Thinking of you

I'm so with you on second pregnancies @Hannahbobs and @AlbaGirl8 - good luck with getting through the day Alba!

MochaHoldTheMilkAndCoffee · 05/04/2022 13:24

@sellingupslow also hoping its just too early to show on the scan, fingers crossed for you.

@AlbaGirl8 I am exhausted for you today, I hope the day flies!

AlbaGirl8 · 05/04/2022 13:54

Sorry to hear that @sellingupslow Keeping everything crossed it's just a little too early to see anything

sellingupslow · 05/04/2022 14:53

Thanks everyone 😞
They've just called and unfortunately it's not a viable pregnancy and I just need to wait for the bleeding. Never experienced this before so not really sure what to expect 😥

MochaHoldTheMilkAndCoffee · 05/04/2022 17:27

I'm so sorry @sellingupslow please make sure you take the to grieve if you need it and be kind to yourself ❤
With me, I bled what appeared to be like a normal period (my periods are heavy anyway) with some cramping. Whether that'll be the same for you I don't know. Take care of yourself and enjoy your new home xx

Stargazer89 · 06/04/2022 18:11

So sorry @sellingupslow. How are keeping up? I had a similar experience with my last miscarriage and it was just like a period. Nothing like my later miscarriage. Also if it's any comfort I have got pregnant straight after both miscarriages.

i'm not feeling very positive about my pregnancy at all. I have been getting pains lower back and symptoms seem to have gone x

LittleMrsMama · 06/04/2022 20:42

I'm so so sorry @sellingupslow it's heartbreaking to have that news, I've been there too. I wasn't prepared for the physical pain and trauma along with the emotional trauma. I found joining some miscarriage groups on here really helpful and a few books too. It gets a little easier in time but sadly you will likely always think 'what if' and grieve what could have been. Sorry not to be more positive, it will of course hurt less. We're all here for you, but equally the last place you're likely to want to be right now is with lots of pregnant people. Sending you lots of hugs.

@Stargazer89 am I right in thinking you're around 5 weeks? I wouldn't worry too much about the symptoms going if so as likely they'll soon be replaced with new ones and not sure the lower back pain would be related? Have you taken a test recently or had any bleeding? Hoping this is a sticky bean for you

sellingupslow · 07/04/2022 08:21

Thanks ladies, the support on here has been invaluable and I'm so grateful for all your kind words. I started bleeding yesterday so I'm finally feeling at peace with what's happened, I think it's help me come to terms with it as I was still holding onto every last hope.

We've decided to hold off TTC until end of summer so I'm wishing you all the best of luck in your pregnancies and will definitely pop in every now and then to see how you're all getting on and hopefully see some pics when the babies start arriving! Xx

Stargazer89 · 07/04/2022 08:21

hi @LittleMrsMama my sore boobs have come back. i had a positive ovulation test 23 days ago so i think i must have ovulation a day or 2 later so i'm either 5weeks or 5 weeks 1 day. i did just do my last clear blue weeks indicator test and it's still showing 2-3weeks. I don't think i got my 3+ with my daughter until closer to 6 weeks so i'm trying not to stress at this point. Those of you who have done clear blue weeks indicator when did you get 3+?

How is everyone doing symptom wise?

scoutcat · 07/04/2022 09:34

@Stargazer89 my boobs are so painful!! I'm also feeling really queasy about certain things like cups of tea 🤢 other than that I feel ok though!

AlbaGirl8 · 07/04/2022 11:28

@scoutcat it’s cups of tea that are getting me too! 🤢 I’m managing to keep on top of nausea generally if I keep eating! I tend to start the day ropey then by evening I’m ravenous!
Sore books round the sides here too, and my stomach and hips just feel stretched/ wider, it’s strange! Have booked an early scan for 25th April, when I’ll be just over 8 weeks I think (or could be more!) to get a better idea of dates!

Sending you all the love @sellingupslow and wish you all the best in your TTC journey when the time comes for you xx

LittleMrsMama · 07/04/2022 21:25

@sellingupslow thinking of you!

@Stargazer89 I'm pleased to hear the sore boobs are back if that gives you some reassurance! I got my 3+ around 4w 3 days if i go by how far along I was estimated at my scan last weekend. I have been so sick though so wonder whether I have very high hcg levels. The ranges are so varied that I'm sure that 3+ will be around the corner for you

@scoutcat I almost threw up seeing my husbands gherkins in the fridge the other day 🤢🤢🤢🤢 I've been pretty sick here though, throwing up throughout the day

Good luck for your scan @AlbaGirl8 I can't imagine waiting until 12 weeks, I have no idea how our mums coped!

Stargazer89 · 10/04/2022 17:12

hi ladies. just checking in to see how everyone is doing? I finally had my 3+ I'm either 5weeks 3 or 4 days. I haven't tested since the 7th though so might have shown earlier.
Hope everyone is feeling ok.

AlbaGirl8 · 10/04/2022 17:49

@Stargazer89 thanks for the check in! Hope you’re doing ok? We’ve had a rough week at home, with everyone having a sickness bug, me included - at first through it was pregnancy nausea but no, definitely another level! Thankfully all getting back to normal now. Aside from that I’m actually doing ok, slightly nauseas but can keep it at bay by eating little and often. Tired too, but coping. Sure I’m further along than I think though, my stomach is already showing! 🤦🏻‍♀️ Showed my mum today and she says either twins or at least 10 weeks along! 🤷‍♀️🤣 send help!! Scan not until 25th April! 2nd pregnancy though so perhaps normal to show quite early?

X

Stargazer89 · 10/04/2022 20:07

@AlbaGirl8 oh no to the sickness bug, that sounds awful and I hope you are all feeling much better now.
How far gone do you think you are? I think you do show earlier with second but surely not this early 😂 maybe your mums right- how do you fancy being a twin mum? 🙊
I have a really dry mouth and bunged up so think I have been sleeping with my mouth open (attractive) and last night i woke up gasping. It was really scary. Not sure if dry mouth is a pregnancy symptom though lol.

AlbaGirl8 · 10/04/2022 21:40

@Stargazer89 Oh that’s not good, that would be frightening! It’s so difficult to tell what’s pregnancy symptoms and what’s just something that’s happening! I had a nosebleed today (unusual for me) and immediately was on Google to see if it was a symptom 🤣
I would be happy with twins - would mean I get my wish of 3 (DH only wants 2) and I don’t have to be pregnant again! Haha! Minimum I could be right now is 6+1, but I have PCOS (very recently diagnosed) and haven’t had AF since end of Jan, so could potentially be much longer! Can’t wait to find out either way!

LittleMrsMama · 11/04/2022 20:49

@AlbaGirl8 I'm so pleased it's not just me looking very pregnant already! I'm only 7 weeks but look more pregnant now than I did at 17 weeks with DD, especially by the evening. My midwife friend told me it's really common when someone has been pregnant before as everything is already 'stretched' and that it is mostly due to bloating at this early stage. Anyone else the same?

I hope for you though it's twins and you get your 3 baby dream! Hope you're recovering ok from your bug.

Congrats on the 3+ @Stargazer89 but sorry to hear about your night with gasping for breath, sounds really scary!

I've been really sick, vomiting multiple times a day. I have no idea how I'm going to get through our Easter meals at the weekend!

Hi everyone, I got my bfp 2 days ago & a due date calculator tells me baby will be due 20th Dec. Am I on the right group or is there one just for babies due in December as mine will be late Dec? This is dc3 for me & a complete surprise so I'm still coming to terms with it all! Really looking forward to getting to know all of you Smile
