Thought I’d start this as a follow up from the ‘TTC NOVEMBER 2021’ thread for everyone who got their BFPs! ☺️

Hi everyone and congratulations!
I'm due on the 16th August.
So glad to read about how others don't have many symptoms yet - I only have tender boobs and a bit of heightened smell and was starting to think I've imagined the whole thing!

Slagathor · 17/12/2021 08:35

Thank you so much! ❤️ Will be telling both sets of parents today about them going to be grandparents. So I am excited for that!
Btw I am due aug 26 according to the first day of my last menstrual period.

Minnie296 · 17/12/2021 08:44

Hi everyone

Joining with hope I guess! Got my BFP at 9DPO currently 21DPO. But I have a short cycle so I'm actually only 4+4. Testing every single day as I've had two previous early losses / chemicals as they are before 6 weeks.

Congratulations to all and hoping for a sticky bean this time ❤️

Purple29 · 17/12/2021 09:48

@Minnie296 congrats. Fingers crossed its good news this time. 🤞

Purple29 · 17/12/2021 10:09

I am really starting to doubt I'll have a good outcome. Still spotting, slightly heavier too. Will test again later!! This weekend is gonna be torture!!!

Lumlalim · 17/12/2021 11:19

Hang in there @Purple29! Thinking of you and sending lots of positive thoughts! The worry of these first 12 weeks is something I was totally unprepared for I swear. But Try and keep busy this weekend and treat yourself however you can!

Sjmc16 · 17/12/2021 11:45

Hi @Purple29 wishing you all the best! I’m still very much in the same boat, my cramps on Wednesday night were the worst I’ve ever had and I’ve continued to bleed like a period, although it’s been on and off and slowed now. I rang the EPU and they just said not to worry and to test in THREE weeks. Honestly I don’t know what to think, three weeks is such a long time to be in limbo for! Xxx

Purple29 · 17/12/2021 12:09

@Sjmc16 three weeks?! Omg. I'm hoping I phone them on Monday and I'll get a scan. I really wanted to enjoy the first part of my pregnancy. I know I'm going to be a nervous wreck fro. 25 weeks (my first arrived at 30 weeks with no explanation) I've not had any cramps yet. I am so prepared for the worst!!!

Sjmc16 · 17/12/2021 12:18

I hope they get you in!
I think I’m just too early for a scan, but they weren’t massively helpful, I feel like I’m just left alone to work out what’s going on, I’m assuming the worse but I’m also not a professional so who is to say! I still feel pregnant but so lost, doing a test doesn’t help as it’s positive but it would be either way at this stage 😔

Let me know how you get on Monday! Xx

Caslo · 17/12/2021 13:32

@Purple29 Got everything crossed for you, it's such a terribly anxious time isn't it. Really hope the EPU will be helpful when you call on Monday. It's annoying they're not more forthcoming with early scans because the reassurance is worth so much x

@Sjmc16 Sorry to hear about your bleeding too. When did it start? How far along are you? Sorry if you've already said, it's hard to keep up sometimes! x

Sjmc16 · 17/12/2021 14:10

Hi @Caslo not probs I struggle to keep up too!

I’m around 4-5 weeks so it is very early days, bleeding started on Wednesday evening and is ebbing off now, it’s more pink discharge now (sorry TMI!) I’m not hopeful as I have had some clots and my cramps on Wednesday were really bad, just have to wait and see I guess! 😔

Toss · 17/12/2021 16:54

Hi everyone and congratulations. I'd love to join too if that's ok. i'm 4 weeks exactly and it looks like I'm due on 26th August. My first will be 2 just before christmas. I tried the link to join the Facebook group but it looks like it has expired so if you wouldn't mind resharing @TH22 that would be great.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed for all of us!

TH22 · 17/12/2021 16:58

Thanks for the nudge @Toss

New Facebook group link!

Toss · 17/12/2021 17:07

Thanks so much @TH22 ☺️

TaraHP · 17/12/2021 20:21

I'm still telling myself the tests are negative 😆

Due 24th Aug!

Jhodd · 17/12/2021 21:22

Hi all!
I still can’t believe we have our Christmas miracle. Due 27th august.
Had a previous eptopic September this year so I’m testing like a crazy person.
No symptoms other than tender boobs.
Congratulations to all!

@Sjmc16 I would phone your early pregancy unit again and ask for bloods. I went though the a&e way last time due to pain and the early pregnancy unit were great.
I had positive tests up untill 6 weeks after my body absorbed the pregancy.
Il keep my fingers crossed for you that this is just an implantation bleeding. Try not too worry, I know easier said than done. But apparently it’s common to bleed in early pregnancy, lots of different reasons! x

Jhodd · 17/12/2021 21:25

Also, @TH22 I think I’ve tried to add myself on the fab group if that’s okay?!
I have one for my previous pregancy (little boy is now 2) and it was an invaluable space even now! x

RH20 · 17/12/2021 23:06

I've taken a test today - due sometime end of August! And now I can't sleep feeling every twinge and can't switch my (very happy) brain off!
@TH22 I've also tried to add myself to the FB group - hope it works as I joined a group for my previous pregnancy (who is now 10month old!) and found it totally invaluable.
Congratulations all ❤️

TH22 · 18/12/2021 05:50

@Jhodd

If course! Please add away everyone! x
Cb31 · 18/12/2021 06:19

Has anyone else found that they can't sleep well since getting pregnant? I fall asleep fine but keep waking up in the night and can't get back to sleep despite feeling exhausted. It's so frustrating x

Toss · 18/12/2021 07:22

This was one of my main early symptoms for my first baby - so frustrating. This time around I'm finding I'm waking up but getting back to sleep because I think my body is still playing catch up! Really hope it doesn't last too long for you.
Purple29 · 18/12/2021 07:42

@Cb31 it's funny I don't remember this with my first but this time, yeah I have trouble falling asleep and then I'm waking up more too!!! Despite feeling so exhausted!!!

Lumlalim · 18/12/2021 07:50

Yes definitely!! You’d think your body would sleep extra if anything. Hoping it’s just a phase!

chiatta · 18/12/2021 08:03
