Hello all - new thread here!

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Ahhhhh - I'm getting it now!! VS, TMP, NEM etc etc. Now I see it! I blame the baby ...

Good luck to all VBACers - it sounds like some of you have a bit of a battle on your hands. How awful - surely it's the medical teams job to make sure you know all the pros and cons then it's up to you to make the decision?

PM (see, I'm getting it now ) - I can't believe your story! No wonder you're paranoid! Isn't it ironic that you refer to them as your "trust".

I need to get myself a new bra too. Is anyone out there still wearing underwire? I feel terrible for doing it but I just SO missed them first time round.

paranoidmummy · 22/11/2007 14:00

sorry everybody, i wasn't saying that to get loads of 'poor u' i promise, i was just trying to someway justify my paranoia!!! am tempted by the private scan but its 150 quid here and its so close to xmas i just really don't know if i can afford...

yes 'trust' is very ironic. they are pathetic!!! they make me so very cross. all the sonographers are grumpy witches too

VictorianSqualor · 22/11/2007 14:01

I've worn undewrwire through all my pregnancies (this is my third).
VBAC isn't too hard after one baby, but after 2 or more they tend to get a bit over cautious.

Am not speaking to scampmum for daring to use a rival site.

Em, this is a bit random, but does anyone else find the "friends forever" pics at the top of the page a bit odd? I can't stop looking at that guys mullet ...

Soph73 · 22/11/2007 14:09

Wondered when you´d get it or if I was going to have to explain how I knew northeastmummy was from the north east. I thought pregnancy was making me silly
paranoid - I´m still paranoid too & this is my 2nd, so lets hold hands & be worry warts together Remind me, who´s just had their scan

Soph73 · 22/11/2007 14:11

What 'Friends Forever' piccies? Maybe I´ve got different piccies at the top of mine!

scampmum · 22/11/2007 14:12

I am also still wearing underwires, though do feel naughty. Stupidly lent out maternity bras and like rest of maternity clothes have not yet got back - is day 4 of the same outfit at work! (yes, I have changed my underwear)

Plus bra is too small - is D and I am at least E - in the one I wear most of the time (I have two) it's a kind of 'balcony' style and occasionally after running for train I will have a bit of boob (inc. nipple) dangling over the edge like Michael Jackson's baby. Good look (not). I'm just hoping people at work haven't noticed me periodically looking down, blushing, and hoiking the boobs back inside.

Soph73 · 22/11/2007 14:19

tmp - it was you, just re-read the messages (deerrrrr). Congrats and pleased to hear that everything´s fine

scorpio1 · 22/11/2007 14:24

GIRL

I am speechless, ompletley. there is no mistake.

A girl after 3 boys!!! She is fine, just a few lakes of blood on my placenta but no worries because it showed them in my first scans too.

I am very shocked. DP is x 1000000000000000000

TheMaskedPoster · 22/11/2007 14:27

WOOOO-HOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

huge congrats Scorpio!! Hoorah

scampmum · 22/11/2007 14:29

Brilliant! congratulations. Have you told the boys? My goodness, she is going to be DOTED on. I pity the poor boys who fall in love with her in 15 years' time and have to get past the selection committee!

scorpio1 · 22/11/2007 14:31

i said to dp it will be lovely when she has kids because i can be number 1 gran. he said he will be in prison because someone made his daughter pg - i said what if its her husband he said only if shes 30 or more and he meets my requirements!!

Sheds75 · 22/11/2007 14:33

Scorpio, fantastic news....... sounds like a daddys girl already

sagitta · 22/11/2007 14:39

scampmum - that sounds excatly like me. Always having to pop them back in.

What's wrong with underwire by the way?

PM - I wish I was a bit more paranoid to be honest. Can you share some with me? I'm way too relaxed about it all...

And welcome NEM and Egyptian princess and Humphries.

Has anybody been clever enough to do a boy/girl count recently? It's all too complicated for me.

sagitta · 22/11/2007 14:41

Congratuulations scorpio! That's great news, I am really pleased for you!

Soph73 · 22/11/2007 14:49

Oh Scorpio, how fabulous for you both I´ve misted up. My DH sounds like yours, as he´ll be exactly the same if this one´s a girl. Brilliant news You can both gang up on the boys

Soph73 · 22/11/2007 14:50

Soph73 · 22/11/2007 14:50

Sorry about that must have got carried away!! I can´t stop smiling, have I gone completely weird? .... that´s a rhetorical question by the way

scampmum · 22/11/2007 14:55

Ok, this is NOT a rhetorical question - should I go and get some more food? Had soup and a ham and cheese toastie at 12 and am really hungry again. I think I ought to for the sake of my employer - I can't be productive when I'm sitting here dreaming of steak.

sagitta · 22/11/2007 15:10

Seems perfectly reasonable to me. As you said. it;s for the good of your employer. And LO is evidently hugry too, so it's your duty as a mum too.

Soph73 · 22/11/2007 15:17

Is that all you had ... quick, get some more now, how can you possibly concentrate with so little food inside you I had soup & bread at 12, fish & chips at 12.30 followed by 2 satsumas & I´m hungry again already

ladylush · 22/11/2007 15:17

WOW! A GIRL! CONGRATULATIONS SCORPIO Delighted for you
