Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
ToastAddict · 16/11/2007 12:11

Oh good. Thanks Ellie.

Shall go and buy lunch soon, which definitely has pudding status! I never used to have that much of a sweet tooth!

scorpio1 · 16/11/2007 13:24

god, just paid a fortune for dss bday pressie. its not in stock anywhere and eneded up paying £20 more on ebay for it. (£100 all together)

i keep getting periody pains- i think i have overdone it a little this week with the stress of everything going on. am going to rest for the rest of the day.

mummyofaprincess · 16/11/2007 13:28

loisstella 2 of them Oats are really good for you, flapjacks and chocolate sounds really nice pitty i haven`t got any in.

Piccalilli2 · 16/11/2007 13:31

ToastAddict, wheat crunchies are fab, but prefer the spicy tomato ones.

I am such a pig. Just eaten a sandwich and a scotch egg and a packet of jelly babies and some mango. And I still want a flapjack. I'm beginning to remember why I put on so much weight last time I was pregnant

scorpio1 · 16/11/2007 13:32

i have had fruit salad and a smoothie

(am getting the Wispa out of my fridge in approx 2 secs)

mummyofaprincess · 16/11/2007 13:37

its only the past week ive been hungry most the time, im hoping it will pass very soon

Soph73 · 16/11/2007 13:41

Hi all. Welcome to mummyofaprincess. Went to midwife & have gained 2kgs (4.4lbs right??) & tried to explain to her that because I lost 1kg after falling pregnant I´d actually only gained 1kg - she wasn´t falling for it Heard lo's heartbeat but she said because of the fat she was finding it difficult to find lo

chipmonkey · 16/11/2007 13:44

Ah, I was wondering who VS was!!! It all becomes clear!

ToastAddict · 16/11/2007 14:09

Soph - at your midwife. And even if the 2kg was all new, that's nothing!! She should meet me!!

Piccalilli - I'm usually a spicy tomato girl too But I'm now a martyr to my heartburn! - anything vaguely spicy will set me off And I mean vaguely!

EllieG · 16/11/2007 14:19

Criky soph your mw would die if she saw me then! I was worried when went to scan would actually be no baby at all, just a great big piece of cake. Am very chubby but tbh, am really not caring. Have spent many years being paranoid and having therapy for eating disorders and am LOVING not being in control of weight and not caring.

I'm taking DS out for his tea so better go somewhere where I can have salad

mummyofaprincess · 16/11/2007 14:32

Thanks soph . at your midwife! how rude. Have a salad and a nice piece of cake for afters

Peachy · 16/11/2007 14:54

Dont take the weight police crud- I gained little with ds1- he had IUGR, and is now registered disabled. Much arther thave a lardy arse and a healthy baby- the weight you can lose afterwards anyhow.

And on that note....

yum, Thorntons Coffee Creams

(am doing so crap of the dairy free atm )

Soph73 · 16/11/2007 14:54

I´m not going to let it bother me that much as this is brill compared to when I was pg with DS. I think in total I gained about 18kg Also I´ve not done any exercise recently so I suppose I better start Did have a piece of someone's choccie b'day cake just now ... feeling very guilty ... not

Soph73 · 16/11/2007 15:18

Well, dear ladies, I shall love you and leave you for the weekend now. Am still contemplating where to go for dinner, what a stressful life I lead Have fun everyone & see you all Monday xxxxxxxxxxx

Soph73 · 16/11/2007 15:20

Forgot to say - the midwife wanted to see me on Boxing Day for checkup and weighing - can you imagine being weighed after your Chrissie Dinner!!!! I politely told her that it wasn´t convenient, fortunately I´m now going on the 14th

mummyofaprincess · 16/11/2007 15:31

Have a nice weekend soph i would go out for dinner if i was you pitty my DP is working tonight I do get to go shopping all day tomorrow to get the rest of my DDs birthday presents so i`m happy about that

Peachy · 16/11/2007 15:47

Goodness Boxing Day! there'd be bound to be a problem wouldn't there- DS1's issues were picked up on Carenival Day, the busiest day of our calendar when the house was full of guests and DH was stranded miles away without a car or anything bar a toolbox (he was stuck out on the levels building [[http://www.masqueraders.co.uk/karts/kart99.htm this example of the Religion that is Carnival- Busa).

Peachy · 16/11/2007 15:48

this even!

sagitta · 16/11/2007 16:00

Just a quick note to say have a lovely weekend, everyone. Hope it's not too cold where you all are (freezing here, slipped on ice this morning, and poor little DD only wearing pyjamas for the children in need thing at nursery).

scorpio1 · 16/11/2007 16:01

it is freezing here!

Peachy · 16/11/2007 18:53

Bloody cold here too- fortuantely ws just nn-uniform day at school rather than anything special

have decided on a name for the baby....

Sebastian george peach

(george is DH's middle name and the name of the chap who adopted FIL from the childrens home).

Now, unless my sister (who is in labour now and has been since 6am poor woman) suddenly ditches Ellis and uses it, then that's settled- hurrah!

So we have Samuel Godfrey, Stirling Max, Harold Jarvis Griffith and the new baby- done!

chipmonkey · 16/11/2007 22:13

Oh, Peachy! I always loved Sebastian but dh didn't!

chipmonkey · 16/11/2007 22:14

Good luck to your dsis as well, Peachy!

VictorianSqualor · 16/11/2007 22:24

I love sebastian, peachy!
Lovely name, DP said no though, apparently he had a friend that used to get picked on and called 'spastican'
We finally have a girls name I think, charlotte.
