morning all, friday again, oh what joy and I'm only here till lunch time as I have a MW appointment this afternoon so get to hear his heatbeat again.

some great advise on childcare. I sometimes think I shoujld print some of the posts off to show my DP, but at the same time not sure he would understand a lot of the pregnant humor

Have been out for work breakfast thing this morning and am SO full feel quite sick. Mind you I did eat waffles with maple syrup and bacon and a sausage and some fruit and toast, so not suprising. God, am such a pig. Seeing it all written down I am quite ashamed of myself

I had cold pizza for breakfast - bad mummy failing to nourish my unborn and setting terrible example for dd. I'm starving now as well. I really want a flapjack. Oats are quite healthy, right??

Was SO cold when I got to work that I had to go for the works - eggs (scrambled, though I looked longingly at the fried ones in the canteen), bacon, sausage, baked beans and hash browns. AND that was four hours ago so I'm hungry again already...

I was at a proper "rock concert" with my 10 year old niece yesterday and felt tlike a whale!
I am always on the podgy side, but the big belly and the big 'duvet-like' coat (ssooo cohold) made me feel like people were staring... I was definitelly the fat person!

Oats are VERY healthy. As is chocolate, which is made of cocoa beans which are therefore a vegetable, so is part of your 5 a day. So by eating flap jacks and chocolate you are actually nourishing and helping your unborn. Aren't we all good?

PMSL Ellie- have a nagging feeling its supposed to be good quality dark choc for that but......

No no no, any chocolate counts. It is made of vegetable as is full of beans and sugar which is made from sugar cane and therefore a vegetable also. Work with me here OK? Anything can be made a fruit or veg if you think hard enough

Aren't Bacon flavour Wheat Crunchies the best thing ever?
Especially if followed by a Mr Kipling Almond Slice for "pudding"....
Does elevenses count as a meal, therefore be entitled to pudding status?

Yes. Definitely.

I don't think pudding should be limited to mealtimes....pudding should be allowed anytime...we are eating for 2 you know
