Its definitely fine AS LONG as it has been heated thoroughly at some stage (and chek the mayo too, although TBH 'proper' mayo very rare anywhere that isn't a deli). But I checked out the cooked cheese issue on another thread and yes, definitely okay.

paranoidmummy · 15/11/2007 11:11

hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, i'll have to find out if its been heated then! if u have any suggestions of who i should ask then let me know. i could write a letter to mr pizza hut...

EllieG · 15/11/2007 11:56

paranoid - my DH came out with some (as far as I was concerned) hideous names if beanie is a boy so just kept giving him "I think not" looks until he shut up I wish you hadn´t mentioned Satay - it´s very difficult to find here

paranoidmummy · 15/11/2007 12:28

oh soph i'm glad i'm not tho only one. Dh keeps finding it funny to only suggest Greek God names! I know he's only being silly but is really starting to pee me off. Without wanting to offend anyone i do not want to call my son Zeus!

Sorry Soph about the satay . If you get really desperate then cat me and i'll send you some over . i know a place u can buy the sauce in a bottle that is divine then u can have it for making at home i'll see if they have a website at lunch time

VictorianSqualor · 15/11/2007 12:54

Afternoon peeps.
Gosh I feel terrible today, am sure I'm coming down with some kind of fluey thing. I ache all over, my nose and head and throat need swapping for someone elses, I'm soooo tired and desperately want to curl up on the sofa with honey and lemon!DP had important stuff to do at work today so he had to go in, but promised he'll have tomorrow off to look after me

DP seems to be the same about names, everytime I think of one I say, 'what about ' and he just goes 'hmm'. That's it, what help is that???

We both like Blake and Will, I think!
For a girl it's a bit harder, I like Roxy (fkn eastenders ) and Grace, I think he's convinced it will be a boy though. Middle name for a boy is Oliver, thats sorted, a girl we're thinking carrie or caroline, as thats his mum's name.

I still get sickness, yes, but compared to the HG it's a breeze! It's almost as if as soon as I do anything that makes me slightly out of breath (even going upstairs!) I am sick. I have been eating small portions for ages, so not too bad at dinner time.

VictorianSqualor · 15/11/2007 12:56

Oh, and feet??what are they?? havent seen them for ages, and DS/DD have to help me with my socks and shoes.
I'll put up a picture of my bump on my profile, I'm HUGE!

paranoidmummy · 15/11/2007 13:06

vs, i love grace - its so pretty. Oliver is a boys' name i love but dh not so keen. then again if he has his way he'll be called kefalonia or something...

I'm glad i'm not the only one with a huge bump. I've had lots of comments about how fat i'm getting. there is no excuse for that i think. its not like i'm suddenly putting on bulbous weight everywhere i'm pregnant u idiots! It can be quite hurtful sometimes . Have put on a stone now tho saying that i was quite ickle to begin with so i'm still not what i would call big (about 8 1/2 stone now) so i wish people would stop being so mean. Sorry that is my moan over, i've had a few nasty comments today!

VictorianSqualor · 15/11/2007 13:10

paranoidmummy, dont worry about it, people can be so rude, I've been quite lucky with my comments so far, except when people ask when I'm due and I say April, the look on the faces hahaha, almost always followed by a 'I thought you were ready to drop!'

The picture is up BTW, it looks like I'm sat down, but I'm actually stood up, so its not just bunched up fat

Peachy · 15/11/2007 13:33

Aw VS, such a shame its not twins- you could haev Will and Grace LOL!

You know if you want strange names, I have a lovely Celtic anmes book full of unpronounceables (at least for us uninitaited)- anybody want it? (serious offer- we were thinking of a Welsh name but those we can pronounce are rare and as my Mother says, will be hell for poor baby if we return to Somerset as we want!)

We did like Ianto, but you Torchwood and all...... (esp. as the bloke who plays him was born a few miles away)

MassiveMollyfloss · 15/11/2007 14:11

VictorianSqualor, I love the picture, looks like a nice healthy bump to me!

Paranoid, you've put on a stone and now weigh only 8 1/2 stone - you're tiny! I can only imagine that the only reason people could call you fat is because you're actaully not, just a bit bigger than before and they're teasing you. If you were really fat (which at 8.5 stone is impossible) they probably wouldn't dare say a word!

I started at about 8 stone and am now well over 9! My arms and legs aren't too bad but my ass is massive . I've also gone from being a b cup to a double D, that's not so bad though

V1KK1M · 15/11/2007 14:11

I have an hour and a half until my scan and I am so nervous. Also now the scan's here I am going through the should I find out the sex?!?!

If I can get through todays scan without finding out I will be OK for the rest of the pregnancy!

Soph73 · 15/11/2007 14:11

LOL at paranoid's little baby Kefalonia I went on holiday there once it was gorgeous I´m going to have to go on a satay sauce hunt over the weekend now. VS your bump is the same size as mine Unfortunately my PC won´t let me upload photos so can´t show anyone

MassiveMollyfloss · 15/11/2007 14:14

Regarding names, with my husband being American and hence having an American surname and me being Irish I have insisted that the baby must have a first Irish name so if anyone has any good ideas I'd love to hear them. Right now the favourites are Ailish for a girl and Conor for a boy.

Peachy · 15/11/2007 14:14

VS- same size bump here too.

AndBTW you CAn be fat at 8.5 stone

if you are 3 feet tall

Peachy · 15/11/2007 14:14

Molly, d'ya want that celtic names book? Loads of Irish anmes in there!

MassiveMollyfloss · 15/11/2007 14:16

Oooh thanks, I actually have a little book already. I've forgotten the name but it could be the same as yours.

Peachy · 15/11/2007 14:20

This is a green one. Full of names like Onllwyn and Narbflhfhlaith which are probably very nice if you can only pronounce them....

MassiveMollyfloss · 15/11/2007 14:30

Mine is just evotred to Irish names now that I think of it so it probably has every Irish name possible. thanks for the offer though! Are you sure you can't find a pronouncable Welsh name?

MassiveMollyfloss · 15/11/2007 14:31

I meant 'devoted' to Irish names

Peachy · 15/11/2007 14:33

Oh there's plenty LOL- just not pne we can agree on, girls names are esier in Welsh I think as theya re more common (my sister is a Sian and I love that). We're trialling gabriela nd Sebastian with the baby atm, se which one (if either) we can live with.

TheMaskedPoster · 15/11/2007 14:45

VS - what a glorious bump! (and hope you feel better soon)

Mine isn't really protruding yet and am starting to wonder what's going on ... I feel 'beanie' moving quite a lot (usually at night when he/she decides to bounce on my bladder )- but can't wait til my scan next week just to make sure everything is ok.

will try and take a photo to put on my profile - but will have to do it later as am off to pick up dd from Nursery.

Hope all are well - and I do like logging on to MN and reading through all these posts. Tis nice to have all you lovely ladies here if needed etc.

scampmum · 15/11/2007 14:47

OWWW just had my first 'knitting needle'.

I haven't been 8 1/2 stone since I was about 12!!

Got absolutely sh@t on at work today. Might post the lovely email I had waiting for me in my inbox from my boss when I got in this morning. Roll on March

(and as it wasn't justified!)

scampmum · 15/11/2007 14:49

ps Peachy you are hysterical. Narbflhfhlaith just jumped to the top of my list. (Erm... boy or girl? does it matter?)

Peachy · 15/11/2007 14:52

Sadly that name is GENUINELY in the list for a girl!
