Hello all - new thread here!

Morning all, sounds like you all had good weekends. Congrats to those of you who know what you´re having. I won´t know until the 29th. Am starting to get all paranoid again as the bubbly feeling has stopped and don´t seem to be feeling anything else. DH is back which is nice but I don´t like sharing the bed again

With all the talk of scans, I decided I can't wait until my 20 week scan (which is actually at 22 weeks!) and just booked one for next Monday. Have decided to find out the sex of the baby, I can't contain my curiousity.

We can't agree on names either.

there is only one name which we both think is ok-Dexter William. I want Blake William but he says he hates that name, and then other times he says i can have it. What do we think of Dexter? i need outsiders who dont know me in RL point of view!!

Girls we have Teagan. thats it. and i dont like that alot!

scorpio - unfortunately the name Dexter makes me think of Dexter´s Laboratory (kiddies programme - don´t know if you get it in the UK!) He´s a very intelligent, very short little boy who has a secret lab under his house Sorry!

That coat is quite similar to mine scorpio, I must say we are lucky for fashion to be all about being loose over the belly this last year!

As for pink, DD has ginger hair, so pink wasn't a great colour for her! It's not too bad now as her hair has got lighter over the years but it was very ginger when she was young, so we used to dress her in a lot of lilac.

I'm turning into a boring old fart anyway, my baby is going to wear white, and variations on white, babyrgows for at least the first threee months, none of this faffing around with tiny jeans and dresses I used to do with the other two.

It is on here, although I think it may lurk on one of the cable/Sky channels...

well we dont have sky yet-we are sorting that out so at least when im up all night i will have something to watch in April! But aside from that....like or no? it has to match our other childrens names:

It goes well, I think. It does make me think of Dynasty and Alexis's third, or fourth, or whatever it was, husband Dexter (ISTR that he was one of the victims in the end-of-season cliffhanger shootout at the Moldavian wedding of Michael Praed and Catherine Oxenburgh, along with Steven Carrington's boyfriend and a couple of other minor characters), but then I am getting on a bit and that won't be an association for his contemporaries .

im not even sure when dallas was big....i was born in 84 so i dont know of Dexter in Dallas...am i too young?

Love your kids names scorpio. What do you mean are you hormonal??? Aren´t we all I think I may put the name Zac to DH & see what he says ..... if you don´t mind of course.

Dynasty, scorpio, Dynasty. Quite, quite different from Dallas. And yes, you are a mere babe in arms and far too young to have experienced such wonders .

Yes Scorpio, way too young probably! Not that mum ever let us watch it anyway LOL.

Names we like have to be modified to make them pronounceable by ds3, so Thea was changed to Taya etc. It's our one big criterion.

Dallas was gritty cinema verité in comparison to Dynasty...

Re-read your assignment carefully before handing in to make sure that you haven't accidentally slipped Dallas or Dynasty in there somewhere... (I once dropped off in the middle of writing an essay and on re-reading in the morning found an entire mystery paragraph about someone called J and a parrot)

No its not in there! (i actually looked because im so scatty at the moment!)

i got dungarees today, from ebay. H&M mama ones. i think i need some more confidence to wear them out.....

Ha, DP doesn't ever tell anyone that my two aren't his and they call him dad, so no-one knows except those that are close to us, he gets some weird looks when peopel realsie he ahs just turned 23 and he has a daughter about to turn 7 the looks get even weirder when they realise I am nearly 27 and think I corrupted a 15/16 year old when I was 20

i was still (only just) in school when i was pg with Reilly(was 16), i had him when i was just 17. Then i had Jamie 17 days before i was 20.

Teenage mother twice-i do good for national statistics!

Jamie will be 3 1/2 when baby is born, so the biggest gap i have had. Jamie has the same dad as this baby, as does Zac, Reilly's (cough ahem) 'dad' is someone else, as is Zac's mum. you still with me??
