@Fran919 I had a lumie light that I used for night feeds, I like that it could be dimmed and went off on its own after 90 mins. We actually bought another night light which I will probably use this time around www.amazon.co.uk/FiDi-Tek-Chargeable-Acrylonitrile-Butadiene/dp/B07CS3C8HN/ref=sr_1_3?tag=mumsnetforu03-21 We just chucked a muslin over it and my daughter had it in her room overnight until she was about 15 months.

The LED tealights I bought for my peaceful serene water birth I envisioned (but never had!) also came in useful

@LottSE20 I had a belly before I got pregnant and was thinking how long would it be before I showed but having lost a stone from being sick it didn't make that much difference. This is my second too so thought I'd show sooner !

@PurplePansy05 ooo you're looking far more stylish than me! I'm opting for the leggings and long too with a cardigan or jacket at the moment. Can't wait until it warms up a bit so can get some dresses out! 🥰 yours is looking lovely 😍 they're really good aren't they! Xx

@lucyrp I don't know about stylish! I kept all my clothes that still fit me in my wardrobe plus some pregnancy clothes I've ordered, everything else is in vacuum bags ready for the completion 🙈🤦🏼‍♀️ So most days I'm looking eclectic, shall we say..., today it's a former work dress, tomorrow who knows 😂 I won't have any wardrobes till May when our builder finishes our new bedroom, wish me luck 😂 xx

@PurplePansy05 I need to shuffle our bedroom around for when babu comes and was stressed as I couldn't think for the life of me how I was going to do it as I have a huge chest of drawers in the spare room which will obviously be the nursery for all of my clothes but sorted it out now. Not the best but it means I get to keep my dressing table just lose out on a bed side table. I need to put all my clothes away I think as I hardly wear any of them now 😂 my jeans don't fit so it's only dresses and a few tops! Good luck !🤪xx

@biscuitcat, if you can find a moisturiser with peppermint in, that is really soothing for itching as it feels kind of cooling on the skin.

No, sadly it turns out there is a new law in Germany preventing any "unnecessary" ultrasounds so didn't get to see baby at all today! Boo! Oh well, I will next month :) Was a very boring ordinary appointment, which I'm thankful for.

Is anyone else still so sensitive to smells?? I have just had to chuck my t-shirt and hoodie in the wash. I had a shower last night, deodorant on this morning and clean t-shirt and hoodie but they just absolutely reeked under the armpits to me

@Whatshouldbemyusername aww yay! What colour was the other sleeve you received? My DH ordered mine yesterday, got the darker blue one like you to hind any stains 😂 I don’t know if he will let me have it early though as it’s not my birthday till the 6th March! You’ll have to let me know how you get on.

@PurplePansy05 and @lucyrp lovely bump pictures ladies!! I feel like I have a bump as I’m quite petite in frame, but then I don’t know if it’s just bloat 🤪

Re nightlights we have a star projector which we used as a nightlight. But actually we don't have curtains and I found that the light from the moon was normally enough to see by once your eyes get used to it. Not for nappy changes, but for feeding etc. You do usually need to change their nappy in the middle of the night when they are newborn (sometimes they poo after every feed, but even for wees) so it helps to have something. We just used a bedside lamp for this but then DH got a smart bulb which he's very pleased with. We'd set it to really dim and just red before bed, so if we needed to turn it on in the night it didn't wake anyone up too much.

@Magik01 they gave me the olive green one with it. My partners gone to work but I’m going to wait for him to come home and put the sleeve on for me. I’m not even going to pretend to battle it 🤣🤣🤣. Glad your DH ordered one for you - tell him you need it nooooow! 🤣x

Bertie my DH was getting rid of some cider apple lollies he bought for me at the height of my nausea few weeks ago (they were disgusting!!) and I could smell them from my office upstairs with the door half shut, it was horrendous 🤢🤮 So yes, I'd say I'm still pretty sensitive, although not necessarily feeling sick straight away as a result. xx

Hubby and I have booked a private scan for Saturday afternoon to find out the gender 🤭. We were going to have a surprise but baby has been soooo wriggly the last few days that I can’t stop wondering what he or she could be!

We have a girl already so I feel like I need to know to be able to plan appropriately 😂 at least that’s what I’m telling myself!
