My hormones have kicked up a notch today!! I am very snappy at poor DP and then bordering on teary every time I do something dopey (like accidentally drop something on the floor). On the bright side, I made a load of banana muffins and froze a bunch of them so I have tasty cakes for after baby finally makes her appearance!!

Well ladies our beautiful daughter arrived this morning via unplanned c section. She weighed 6lb 6oz at 40 weeks plus 1.

I went in for induction last night and I had hypersensitivity to the pessary, basically extreme reaction where I was in established labour in terms of contractions after few hours of it being inserted. This put pressure on baby squeezing it too hard too soon when I was only 1cm dilated. Heart rate was dropping and it was decided they would give me a c section as soon as the morning slots started. So chuffed to have our daughter, not the relaxing birth I had planned, led candles and lavender spray never made it out the mag!!! The one thing I'm glad I had in my bag was disposable pants and maternity pads both from boots x

@OrDis you should have heard me and my partner just arguing trying to fix the isofix base into the car and then me trying to figure out how to fit a teddy in the carseat with 1000 buttons/straps inserts. I'm very grumpy and would really like a gin right now 🤣

@Chanel05 im up all night peeing, and throughout the day. The worst is that i feel this urgent need but (sorry, probably
TMI) sometimes barely anything comes out

@Lilice @OrDis that is definitely my life right now. It's always a surprise at what is going to come out as I feel desperate every time!

@Chanel05 I got up last night more than usual to go to the toilet but as the others said, there's barely anything coming out. I'm hoping this is a good sign that the baby is super low down now.

We've gone for another long walk today and I'm beginning to feel more twinges. It's an odd feeling not working but not yet having a baby to care for. At least the weather is really lovely here - I'm washing everything in sight!
