@ShiningStarz I hope your labour starts soon! I can't believe our due date is only 5 days away though! These last few days seem super long. I can't wait to have my little one in my arms.

I've been reading birth stories collected by a midwife called Ina May and they're all really encouraging.

Hi all! Thanks for sorting the new thread! Hope everyone is well. 39+2 here and no signs at all of movement. Midwife on Monday so maybe find out a bit more then. Aside from sleeping im feeling ok. Even bravung a bikini wax later today in preperation for delivery 😂 x

Might be having a Sept baby rather than an October one, so jumping on this thread x

Congratulations @Smilymami! That sounds like a dramatic birth. I'm pleased your DH managed to get to you in time. It looks like Neil has lots of hair already  x

@ShiningStarz no signs today. We've been for a walk to see if that helps. I've been drinking raspberry leaf tea for a couple of days to see if that will help and I might try a warm bath later. I just want a cuddle now! And to stop feeling so heavy! My app says the baby is the size of a watermelon and I'm definitely feeling that weight on my front now.

Haha @liquoricecravings is that the baby centre app, mine says watermelon too!!!
I feel surprisingly really good, not heavy and my bump is small! I am also so ready to meet little one!! Still can't believe there is a baby in there!!! Have they mentioned induction to you?? Or are you ok to get to 42 weeks?

@smilymami what a cutie congratulations! Glad you made it to the labour ward, what a fast second stage!

@ShiningStarz my midwife is happy to let things take their course at the moment as I've been so low risk throughout the pregnancy. I'm still going to try a few of the tricks to see if I can get labour started - it's worth a try.
