Thanks @Sara7455 the days are flying in! I told
My DP to remind me to learn last night but of course once we had dinner and madam had her bath n feed and settled it was my bedtime!! Must remember tomorrow!!! Haha @ChipsAreLife great idea! I bought our pram
Because it's easy to setup and fold etc 😂
@kersh33 I know exactly what you mean! I think cause of covid I'm not taking her anywhere really apart from parents of walk so not getting full use / practice with the pram.
@CookieBlue I'm sure that felt great!!! When we go food shopping my DP and LO stay in car and I run around like a maniac doing our shop, works for us though as I'm happy she's safe in car. Yes must learn without her in it!!

LO sleeps great at night. Still wakes every 2 hours for feed but happily sleeps in next to me! No protest! However once day comes she won't be put down!! She's 7 weeks today!! My DP back at work and I haven't expressed now in 2 weeks, I really need to try re lactation, Iv read so many positive stories 🤞

I am feeling so so much better now from mastitis, phew! Whixh is good because DH had to physically 'go to work' for the first time since March this week and baby girl was a velcro baby for the first time since she arrived 🙄 she wouldn't let me out her down for anything! She wanted everything and nothing, fed for about 6minutrs at a time before wailing that she didn't want it then wanted cuddles didn't want cuddles, wanted to sleep wouldn't sleep etc. From midday to 10pm I timed her naps (she's 3 and a half weeks old) - she had one nap of just 6 minutes and another nap of just 11 minutes in a whole 10 hours 😩 the rest of the time was fairly solid wailing!! Even when her daddy came in from work he couldn't settle her either and got so frustrated he had to walk away! 😭 Such an exhausting day! She even had huge bags under her eyes, bless her! She wouldn't even let me put her down long enough to get a sling on so I beat her too it next day and was up, washed, dressed, fed myself and ready in the sling waiting for her first whimper 😂 'this is just a phase just a phase this is just a phase... '

Has anyone else found themselves woekn up in the night utterly convinced they've just fed the baby (when actually they haven't and must have dreamt it)? Happened last night and night before around 1am feed, work my DH up to tell him I'd just fed her and could he change her nappy? He was like 'erm, but you don't look like you've just fed her, are you sure?' me: 'YES I'M SURE STOP TRYING TO GET OUT OF CHANGHING HER NAPPY!' then 2 minutes later.... also me: 'give her me, I think she's....erm....still hungry...' 😂

@margo34 aw sounds like you're doing great, it is just a phase (we're still in the phase too but getting a bit better for being put down for naps in the day (though not at night frustratingly!)
I don't forget feeding probably cos it goes on for so long but I often wake up and can't remember where the baby is! We're mostly having to cosleep at the moment but sometimes I wake up and I've put him back in the cot, or my partner has taken him and I'm like omg where's the baby 😂

Sara7455 · 02/11/2020 11:05

@MooseWL I used to wake up and forget where the baby was too! He was in his cot every time but I’d always wake up panicking I forgot to put him back and just fell asleep with him in the bed then panicked I couldn’t him before spotting him safely in his cot snoozing away 🙈
