So I don’t really know what I’m doing but trying to keep the bus moving after our BFPs. Don’t know about everyone else but I feel very anxious and worried about the whole thing. I really want to be happy and celebrate but can’t just yet

Only food stops me feeling nauseous, or hot water and lemon first thing is also good!

Posie100 · 14/06/2020 23:15

Thanks @sjones2588 that’s really helpful. If I can stay away from the confirmed covid patients I’ll be happy.

Mococo1 · 14/06/2020 23:29

Wow what stories @thegirlwholived @sjones2568!

Nausea I heard just to eat! Thank you for reassuring me about the symptoms I guess I'm just not sure what to expect and am comparing it to my MC where I found out a bit later (so already had symptoms which urged me to test) ginger biccies has also helped with my nausea before. I'm off chocolate which seems good x

OnNaturesCourse · 15/06/2020 10:39

The nausea I've had this time round has only been made better by forcing some food down my throat - I try to opt for bread, oatcakes, dry foods.

I'm also a restricted diet, but I'm on that pregnant or not. It's hard when all you want to eat is junk food - pregnancy cravings rarely seem to be healthy things for me!

I'm a tad concerned today as all my symptoms have picked up and left overnight, even the tiredness, and I've got a stabby feeling in my lower stomach/pelvic area. Just trying to ride it out and keep busy.

Roseandrose20 · 15/06/2020 11:29

Hi can I join you all please? Due date currently is 17th February, only symptoms so far are extremely sore boobs which seemed to have eased a little today thankfully and some mild stomach / pelvic pains. This will be my second DC, I had quite a traumatic first birth so thinking about asking my midwife about an ELCS.

OnNaturesCourse · 15/06/2020 12:04

Roseandrose

Hello. I had a traumatic first birth too, and to this day (2.5years later) had after effects with scar pain and aches.

I was told previously that id be offered a C Section if I had another, but I'm really not sure as it's such a big operation and I'd not be able to look after DC1 for a time afterwards. To be honest both birth options scare the daylights out of me.

I can’t even begin to think about the birth yet. I’m more of an ostrich when it comes to pain!

TTCgee · 15/06/2020 14:22

How is everyone doing? I go from really excited to really nervous throughout the days.

I'm 5+3 today according to my apps... not really got any noticeable symptoms tho. My nipples are slightly sore and I'm v tired but that's about it.

Also, last week I had some low level cramping but that's pretty much gone now but I keep having like an almost hard/ tight feeling in my left side it's a bit painful at times... Almost the same pain as I'd get when I'm ovulating normally. Has anyone ever experienced anything like that in pregnancy?

My midwife is calling me tomorrow to write up My notes so I can ask her then but just feeling a bit worried today. Wishing I was a bit further along so I could just pay for a scan and find out what's going on in there! Xx

Bear127 · 15/06/2020 15:51

@TTCgee I’m 4+2 and I’m up to now really nervous however I think a lot of that is work related anxieties! I’ve had excess saliva (mainly in the evenings) and had a few mild waves of nausea however I’ve had it from this morning today so I can see it gradually ramping up! I’ve not had any boob tenderness until today where they feel like they’re a bit bruised 😖 so that’s nice! I wish I could just be told everything is fine and progressing as expected 🙈 A part of me still doesn’t quite believe I’m pregnant yet and the other part of me is like wtffff 😱

@Bear127 yeah I'm the exact same. I have to keep looking at the pics of my tests to remind myself they were positive 😂😬

Hopefully I'll get some reassurance tomorrow with the midwife xxx

@unluckyducky Oh wow I’d drive myself completely mad if I did that! 😂 Part of me is very tempted but my OH would probably put a stop to it sharpish!

@TTCgee let us know how it goes! I rang the unit today to let them know I’m pregnant and all she did was ask me to confirm my details (name, address, dob, gp), when my last period was and then told me that I wouldn’t be contacted properly again until around 9 weeks! I’m 4+2! She wasn’t the most helpful or chirpy but I didn’t really know what to expect from the call anyway.

@unluckyducky don't worry I'm testing daily too trying to see if the line gets darker tbh I don't know it is a bit darker but not dark dark but was due to AF yday (I think) but could be a bit earlier than I thought anyway and it's still faint 😐 hoping tomorrow brings me some positive testing so DH stops telling me I'm crazy x

I'm not sure tbh I think it's today?? Problem is I was on the pill (which dictates cycles), got pregnant on it, had the MC and then waited 6 weeks for my period to come! So this was the first period I was expecting after that (so I would know my natural cycle length) logged into an app from four years ago and my cycles were between 29-33 days so I'm not sure when I'm actually due. I also got two peaks on my OPKS cycle day 16 and 18 so not sure which one was real..I was thinking to buy and then test next week Friday if I can...it should defo be 2-3weeks if not 3+weeks by then! Tbh I won't even be reassured with that- il show you my line progression so far..today vs yday..day before was so light you can't even see it in a pic and that's when clear blue 1-2 weeks for me! My FMU is always diluted it's annoying x

@unluckyducky sorry forgot to tag you!

kwastell · 15/06/2020 19:48

@unluckyducky @Mococo1 I'm testing daily too (if I'm honest it's multiple times a day). It's nowhere near as dark as it should be and was lighter than yesterday today. After 2 previous miscarriages (and a long time to get pregnant) I'm very nervous. I should be 4+4 but still getting 1-2 weeks on clear blue digital.

Mococo1 · 15/06/2020 19:59

@kwastell the anxiety is real isn't it ☹️ I know these weeks indicators aren't exactly the best of predictors either as they need a lot of hormone to get 3+ weeks which can vary at that stage

How dark are your tests and is your urine concentrated? My FMU is always light and so tomo il test in the afternoon. Maybe that will reassure you and get a darker line? It's so hard atm all I can do is try and trust that this time it's different so hopefully you can too- hopefully the bean is just burrowing in nicely and stays put!

I have a pack of ten tests and used four so far...SO I have 6 tests left. Prior to taking the first one I ordered a pack of 50 as I thought AF was on her way so I guess I could continue to test for a Long time! But it's unopened so wanted to donate them to someone still ttc x

@unluckyducky I'm hoping tomorrow brings a darker line- hopefully it does and also it depends on when we implanted as well right? As it can happen between 6-10dpo so variations would be likely between tests! Kinda hoping I'm still super early and had a 33day cycle instead of 30 lol! I wana get FRER they look well good and clear! I checked my CB and that's 25ul so any test would have shown me positive despite these faint lines x

Sunshine1984 · 15/06/2020 20:09

May I join you? I was following the June buses (although struggling to keep up!) Would you cast your eyes at my first test for me? Are my eyes deceiving me? 👀
