@Positivetime have you had any updates yet?

@Positivetime sorry to hear you're having such a rough time! Will you have to do the glucose test? I've got to do that at 28 weeks because my BMI is over 30. Hope you're feeling a bit better x

Thanx guys. Unfortunately not much better I have a fibroid that has doubled in size causing the pain. Apparently it shouldn’t affect the baby or delivery but just can’t be sure. I’ve got to go in early for the GTT test. Really don’t want to have GDM If I can help it. Also have low vitamin b12 and can’t even get an injection from the GP right now. It’s such a stress! How is everyone else feelin? I hope doing well?

Morning,

Hope everyone is doing ok. I’m 30 weeks tomorrow (where’s the time gone?!) and my baby is transverse, it is really painful when he stretches and sometimes a small change in position causes my legs to give way and become breathless. Is this normal?

Report
Aimy1 · 29/10/2020 13:30

@NicNac85 I have no advice and have never experienced this. Make sure you have told your midwife who can give you the best advice. I hope things get better for you! X

NicNac85 · 03/11/2020 18:20

Thank you @Aimy1, I tried the midwife but she was a bit dismissive. I think it’s getting worse so will try again! Hope you are getting on OK x

Aimy1 · 03/11/2020 18:30

@NicNac85 please keep trying as i don't think that is normal to be happening x

Hi everyone, thought I’d pop back into this group as you’re all probably in a similar stage of pregnancy to me

I’m just on a super downer about how covid has affected everything this week. I’m now 31 weeks and can’t help but think about how I’ve barely seen any family or friends, they probably won’t even remember me being pregnant at this rate! All normal things like baby shopping and showers just seem to be tarnished :( I’m stuck working from home, which I know is the best thing but really isn’t helping that feeling of being totally disconnected from everyone and everything.

I’m so grateful and lucky to be pregnant I just try to focus on that, but i think because the end of the pregnancy is starting to feel closer, I’m feeling like I’ve missed out on what it should have been like? I really thought that by the time I was at this point, covid would be done and dusted :(
Has anyone else felt like this or am I just being silly?

@Readyformyeggy aww poor you, to be honest I'm feeling pretty similar this week 😩 I've just been furloughed until mat leave starts in January as my workplace couldn't completely eliminate the risk of covid, and I can't work from home. I'm a singer and Christmas is the best time of year so I'm feeling a bit gutted about missing it even though I like you feel like it's for the best.

I'm trying to remind myself that I'm lucky to be chilling out at home particularly as I'm starting to feel exhausted! How is your pregnancy going? You're not being silly at all, things are really hard right now!

How is everyone getting on? My home birth has been booked today! Hopefully less than 3 weeks to go x

sachaf08 · 06/01/2021 19:43

@Aimy1 yay not too long to go! My due date is Sunday, but still not much happening. I've had some pains this eve but I don't think it's proper contractions as they're not regular at all. I'm really uncomfortable now though so hoping it happens soon! Hope everyone is holding up ok x

Hi everyone. I can’t believe it’s January now and babies are due 😱 when this thread was set up it felt like January was a lifetime away!

I’m 37+1 and FTM so not expecting anything for a few weeks yet. Maybe even February. Need to start upping my raspberry leaf tea intake though!

@Aimy1 how exciting that your home birth is booked. That will be so nice! ☺️

Hi guys glad to see this up and running again! I’m 38 + 4 days now. Super nervous. No real sign apart from occasional period like cramps. I feel awful as I’ve been so unwell throughout and in pain I haven’t done as much exercise as I would have hoped in this pregnancy.

How are you all feeling?

Aimy1 · 07/01/2021 16:05

So glad you are all doing well! I wonder if anyone has had their babys yet?!

I'm feeling ok, ive been getting niggles the last couple of days but trying not to think to much of it! Ive had lots of extra scans this pregnancy for growth as my daughter was small but he is showing to maybe be my biggest baby yet!

Hi!

Just thought I would see if anyone else from this group was still around to see how you’re doing as I was looking around mumsnet.

My little boy is 15 months! Where has the time gone?

Checking back onto Mumsnet as talk about possibly trying for baby no. 2 has started 😱

Is anyone still on this thread? If so πŸ‘‹ hope the last year and a half has been good to ya! X

@OrangeJ hey! I've just had an email to say someone has commented on this! My little boy will be 2 in January! Crazy how fast it all has gone. We are actually talking about trying to another but would be our 4th with my other children being 12, 6 and nearly 2. So really undecided what we want to do! I feel like I have one more on me though! House doesn't feel like it does though! How are you? X

I just got notified that someone had written on this group too!

My little boy is 20 months old too and I’ve just given birth to my second little boy! He’s 4 weeks old but came nearly 5 weeks early. Feels a bit chaotic with the two of them but so happy that they’re so close in age as they grow up.

Hello! Good to hear from folk again. Must be something in the water- I've just stopped my pill, we're going to start actively trying soonish. Must be a bit mad, life with an almost two year old is a bit frantic still. Not sure why we want to do it all again...!

@ZRS86 oh my gosh that's great news, you must be made of stern stuff, I couldn't have coped with another so soon.

Hey gals! So nice to see this thread resurrected! Hope everyone is enjoying their 1.5 year olds! I think we’re going to start trying but possibly not till January.

I just read back through the thread and wow, it really took me back to that first lockdown! Cannot believe it was over 2 years ago!

Hope everyone is doing well x
