@inthestars90 congrats!!! Completely get what you're saying with not telling family. I've set myself a rule no telling until a scan and I know everything is ok.

I phoned my GP practice the day I got my BFP and just said to the receptionist I've got a positive pregnancy test and I don't know what to do, do I need to see a doctor? 😂 she gave me the number for the maternity service so I called them and they booked me in for first appointment.
I just had quite a sore cramp and burst out crying and sobbed for about 20 mins, I'm feeling so anxious! Need to try and stay positive!

@CoronaBaby I know the feeling of being nervous. I did before every scan last time. Not sure how I'll wait until June for a scan.

I did a clear blue digital this morning which said 1-2 weeks...... I ovulated 16 days ago so it should defo be more the 2 week end 🤞🏼 so nerve wrecking

@BabyG123 that’s exactly how I feel like I was only 8dpo when I got a positive, then started googling which was a bad idea!!
I must get a CB digital and but I’ll hold off until the end of the week, I would say don’t worry too much as those things are finicky!

I tested at 12dpo I think I had tested on the Monday with a cheaply thing and there was nothing but I can't remember if I actually did it on the weekend lol

@Littlebump2018 I should have waited really but my friend rang to say she is expecting and then I couldn’t sleep at about 5am the following morning wondering so I did a test at 8dpo and it was positive! I’m thinking maybe I am 9dpo as I got a static smiley on CB on the 30/4 so assumed I was ovulating on the 1/5 but maybe I ovulated on the 30th?
@Positivetime now you enjoy the bubble for the day and here we contact our gp, So that’s what I will do during the week! In some areas you self refer to maternity

Congrats @CoronaBaby !! I got mine at 11dpo - AF due that evening (Friday) and I was waiting until Saturday but cracked as I had got the tests! I have the number of weeks digital on the way- not telling my partner as he won't be impressed I have spent more money on tests we don't need. It's so easy to order stuff on amazon!

It's pretty nervy waiting to know everything is well, but I'm focusing on all the new apps, books etc and enjoying it all! I know when we tell everyone we will all get the 'corona baby ' jokes !

@Positivetime congrats!! I'm also thinking about an early scan- is anyone else? You can google for places near you, looks like £150-£300 depending on what you have. Might see if I obsessively think about it or stay zen

I have an early scan booked for a couple of weeks time but it was only £70 so thought it was worth it.
I am so nervous and anxious don't think I could wait until the 12 week one!

There's a chain called window to the womb where early scans are £70.

I had monthly scans with DS1. Was a complete psycho. So worried.

I'm determined to try and get to 12 weeks this time as you can't have your partner with you private or not private at the moment so I'm hoping in 7 weeks it may change 😬🤞🏼

I've booked with window to the womb, and they had a offer on for £59. I'll be 7 weeks x

Ooh thanks @BabyG123 @myhappystreak @Em1991 that's a lot less, I must be looking at the fancy places! I can see there is one of those in MK, I might try to get one it's not too far from me (I'm in Oxfordshire). I don't think I can wait til the 12 weeks to tell my mum but would love a scan first. My friend recently got a scan with her husband and toddler there (privately) so I guess it varies. I'm a big mixture of nervous and excited! How you all doing?
