@Hopefulmummie sorry to hear, hopefully will all be dealt with quickly.

I had my booking app on the 10th June, my scan has come through for the 15th and my bloods ect will be done then. I've also got a consultation appointment after the scan as I had post natal depression the last time so are keeping on top of it all. My hospital still says no partner as of now but hoping in just over 3 weeks that will have changed!

My sickness is awful, the travel bands are not really doing anything. I gag at the thought of any food so oh just has to make anything and I'm ok at eating it just dont like the idea of anything. I'm napping for a couple of hours each day and ready for bed by half 8. This is the worse I've felt out of all 3 pregnancies!

@OrangeJ nothing yet but I have lost a bit of weight so far. I'm looking forward to feeling the waistband getting tighter but this is my first so maybe a little way to go yet.

@Aimy1 sorry you are feeling so rubbish. Have you thought about asking your GP for an anti-sickness drug to help? I'm exhausted all the time too. I can't nap as I'm at work during the day but I'm lucky if I can stay up past 9pm. Can barely watch tv in the evening either my eyes are so tired. Just lie on the sofa with my eyes shut.

@Skyla01 I'm not actually being sick just constantly feeling sick. It is so draining. I'm on furlough until september but dreading when I do go back. Hopefully I'm feeling better then. Not sure whether work would be easier at the minute than home with my 2 kids 😂

@Aimy1 aww sorry you are feeling so awful. I'm sure by September we'll all be skipping around the place again!

I've got just under 2 weeks until my 12wk scan. Praying everything is going well & after that i can start to get more excited about this journey!

@Skyla01 yes I did thanks for asking! I meant to update but I've been so ill the last week I've not had the energy to do anything. I was a complete idiot, I had actually taken it off and put it in a safe place, and then what I can only assume is my pregnancy brain made me completely forget I'd done that! It suddenly came to me at about 1am one night where it was!

When is your scan, it sounds like it must be close to mine which is on the 8th? I'm a bit confused about dates as I'll be 13+3 then according to my private scan dates, that's not too late for the nuchal scan is it?

Hello, just checking in. Had 12 week scan this morning, I had calculated my dates as 12+2, baby measuring 12+4 so wasn’t too far off. All fine, EDD 03/01. Definitely feels more real now! Nausea easing slightly. Hope everyone is coping in the heat, hard to keep cool. X

@sachaf08 glad you kept it safe! Sorry you still feel horrible, really hope you don't have much more of this to deal with. I'm exhausted but nausea is a lot better now only get it now and again. My scan is on the 8th too! I'll be 12+4 by dates then but will be interesting to see how I'm measuring. Will be so nice to have the 1st scan out of the way. I'm not sure about NT I'm afraid but there are other tests they can do if they can't get the measurements they need.

@NicNac85 that's great to hear! Can't wait for my scan!

@Skyla01 glad you're feeling better! I feel like I might be slightly better this week than last, but still having to spend most of the day lying down and throwing up most mornings. Can't wait to see if going past the 12 week mark on Sunday is some kind of magical cure! 😂

Apart from needing a wee at 3am I have zero symptoms! I keep saying to my dh “I’m really not sure if I am you know”. He had enough today and said we need to go for a scan to find out as our nhs one is 16th July and found out yesterday he can’t come.

I’ve booked a scan now for Monday evening. Really wasn’t going to have an early scan but it’s messing with our minds not knowing what’s going on 😂 and he was sad that he wouldn’t be allowed to nhs one.

I’ll probably be like you @BabyG123 and find out he will be allowed to nhs one after we’ve gone private 😝

Hi, I'm ok. Still feeling pretty tired & under the weather. And up to pee about 4 times a night! But shouldn't complain as I am better than I was a few weeks ago. Just getting a bit fed up of it now. Also very bloated but looking forward to that morphing in to a proper bump soon.

My 12 week scan is a week tomorrow! Will be my 1st scan so a little nervous but will be nice to have it over with and be able to tell everyone!

Ooooh that’s so exciting! I know the feeling about wanting to tell people. I told my mum in Jan we were going to start trying and she keeps asking if I have any “news” lol.

Hopefully you will start to feel a bit better soon heading into the second trimester 🤞

@OrangeJ I'm sure everything's fine, I know of a few people who had almost zero symptoms in the first trimester. Good idea to get a scan though, I would definitely be doing the same!
My sickness has got even worse this week, I'm getting to the point where I'm finding it hard to eat at all so think I'll be phoning the midwife soon to ask if I should be speaking to the doctor about it. It's really getting me down tbh, I'm supposed to be moving house this weekend but can't even get out of bed to get anything sorted! I'm 12 + 2 now so hoping it starts to ease soon 🤞

Hi all, I had to go alone to my 12 week scan last week :(. I’m in Worcestershire so hopefully it might be different for some other trusts for anyone else still waiting. I’ve been told I’ve got low platelets so need regular blood tests. Also had date for 20 week scan in August. Time is flying! X

I’m still feeling nauseous and down really. Does anyone else get really sickly hungry when they get hungry? It makes me gag when I get hungry! So weird!

I’m the same @Positivetime, being hungry feels a lot worse. I try to eat little and often and that helps. I cried a lot at the beginning. The nausea isn’t as bad as it was and it seems 12 weeks was the turning point. Hope it eases for you soon

@sachaf08 that's awful your sickness is still as bad as ever. I would def phone the gp and ask for an anti sickness tablet. It might help & you don't need to suffer in silence. Really hope you are better soon.

@Positivetime yes I'm exactly the same, when I haven't eaten for a while I feel absolutely terrible, can't stop gagging and heaving, and then have to literally make myself eat something while feeling like that to get about half an hour of relief before it starts again 🤦 losing the will!!
@Skyla01 thank you, yes I think I probably will, this is the third week I haven't been able to work! Nightmare

@Positivetime yes! That's how I know I'm hungry because I got horribly sicky and just have to grab what I can without thinking about food as then I heave. I've lost 4lbs so far. 2 weeks today until my 12 week scan, I just want it to hurry up now. X

I thought I was going crazy! Good to know I’m not alone. But also sorry you’re all also feeling this way! Hope we all feel better soon.

@Positivetime I think me and you ate quite close in dates? I'm due 27th Jan although when I spoke to consultant, she said 24th Jan so just waiting for my scan to get an accurate date x

So I'm having to be increasingly careful about what I wear to work- my belly feels huge! Just bloating & maybe extra guts getting pushed out of my pelvis for now rather than true bump. But feeling self conscious in anything tight! Don't want anyway to notice anything before I've even had my scan.

Hi everyone. How’s everybody’s week been? In 10 weeks today and really feeling like something’s starting to emerge. My lower tummy’s feeling kind of rounded and firm, but this is my first and I read people don’t show this early! And I’m not super skinny either, about a 10/12 🤷‍♀️

@Skyla01 I’m working from home so my tactic is just avoid people lol. And loose shirts 😅 is this your first?
