Hey girls- at request.... as we love our May group so much we thought we'd do a graduates group 👶🏼🤞🏼

Oh forgot to say that one of my close friends has announced she’s expecting and 3 weeks ahead of me. Can’t wait to tell her our news too in a couple of weeks 😬

@OrangeJ I've seen so many pics of people who are having their first showing as early as 10 weeks though! I'm 12+5 now and think I'm looking a bit different, but I'm bigger than you so it's hard to tell 😂 I think everything does firm up though as it's the uterus growing and it starts sticking out a bit. I can't believe you've still not told people!! Well done you for having the willpower, I've told close friends and immediate family.. running out of people to tell once I've had my scan!

Pray for me ladies.. I'm moving house today/tomorrow and nausea/vomiting as bad as ever. 😅

@OrangeJ I've got a belly going too! Don't mind showing a bit (or just looking fat) but not until after my scan! Yes this is my first. We've hardly told anyone so looking forward to telling everyone the news soon (my scan is on Wednesday). That's so exciting about your friend too!

@sachaf08 oh no that sounds like a bit of a mare- hopefully you don't feel too bad. Plus I really hope overall you'll be feeling better soon xx

@sachaf08 awww best of luck for the move! Are you moving far? Praying all that nausea yesterday was so you can have a day off today 😅

@Skyla01 oooh I’m glad I’m not the only one. Is this your nhs 12 week scan? I’m having a private one Monday evening as my OH isn’t allowed to my nhs one atm. 😬

@OrangeJ yup nhs scan Wednesday. Don't think OH will be able to come but I'll check the day before. Hope he can come to 20wk scan. We're trying to save money so not planning on any private scans. Good luck for Monday!

@sachaf08 how did the house move go?

I've got my scan on Wednesday. Starting to feel a bit nervous but hopefully everything will be fine. How is everyone else?

@Skyla01 it's still ongoing 😅 but all the parents pitched in and no one would let me lift anything, so we've got the bulk of it down. The unpacking on the other hand...🙈
I've also got my scan on Weds, starting to get nervous now! Also I'm worried they'll send the nuchal scan results to the old address just to top off the stress! I'm trying to register at the new place but all the surgeries are hard to get in touch with at the moment.
What time is your scan? I think mine is 330, need to dig out my letter from whichever box it's in 😂

@sachaf08 you should be able to update your address in person on Wednesday. My appointment is at 1330. Nervous but my tummy is definitely expanding so something is growing in there... In another 48hrs we'll be able to relax!

@Skyla01 I phoned my previous surgery today and they said I get to stay with them till I've given birth🎉 so happy because I really like my midwife!
Mine is 330- I think my stomach has changed a bit too, although I've got a bit of a tummy anyway so it's hard to tell. Today was the first day in about 3 weeks that I haven't thrown up!! Result

@sachaf08 that's ok then, although might not have worked if you'd moved 200miles away! We're planning on moving too, but not for a few months. My belly is mostly bloat- far too big to be baby yet! But it's hard to suck it all in. Really hope this is the start of your N&V getting better- you've had such a rough time of it!

I had my scan last night and we were surprised to see a tiny little gummy bear dancing around in there. I’d convinced us both that I wasn’t pregnant 😂 According to my dates I am 10+4 today and I measured at 11 weeks. All was good and saw the little heartbeat and had a few waves. It was incredible and we even bought a little video clip 🥰

Aww @OrangeJ that is lovely! I've got quite a bit of brown discharge this morning, unsure whether to ring the early pregnancy unit and try and get an appt? A little worried as was quite a bit but I know brown is a sign of old.

I have had some brown spotting but not for a couple of weeks now. I just kept an eye on it and it was only ever small amounts.

I haven’t had any experience with my epu yet, but I would call them if you are worried. I’m sure they will be lovely and give you some reassurance 🙂

@OrangeJ I went there when I was 5 weeks pregnant as had a bit of bleeding and cramping so midwife has told me I can now refer myself there is any problems. Im just going to keep an eye on it and see how it goes, hopefully it is nothing x

@OrangeJ great news. How long until your nhs scan?

I'm looking forward to getting my scan out the way tbh, just feeling nervous. Will be nice be able to move on and enjoy the pregnancy.

@Aimy1 it's reassuring that you don't have any pain either. Fingers crossed the bleeding will stop soon.

The bleeding has gone @Skyla01. Seemed to be just that once but I've had stomach ache all day. Not to painful, hopefully jut stretching and growing pains. Will keep an eye on it tonight and in the morning x

@OrangeJ thank you! Didn't have a great sleep last night. Wasn't thinking about the scan but just a little bit of adrenaline kept me awake. Praying that everything is ok xx

Thanks everyone. Scan today went fine, healthy baby and got some lovely photos. Big relief! And can't believe I have a baby inside- still doesn't feel real! But so nice to have scan done. We'll be telling all the family this weekend so looking forward to that.

@Aimy1 I know the time can drag- hope it goes really quickly for you.

Hi all, scan went well, baby was a bit uncooperative but they managed to get all the measurements in the end! It's so nice to be able to tell family now 😍

@sachaf08 great news! When are you going to start telling everyone? What were you measuring? Mine was bang on 12wks, just 4 days behind lmp. New due date of 20th Jan.

@Skyla01 my mum has already started phoning the family 🙈 she lives for this kind of thing!
I measured 13+3 which is exactly in line with early scan, so my due date is still 10/1. So excited for you to get to tell people at the weekend!!
