@ShiningStarz same we arent meant to be in the middle of an open plan conversion for our kitchen and dining room. My FIL is a builder and still seems to think we will have that and babys room (strip rewire replaster etc) dont by sept. I am not so sure! X

emma278 · 11/05/2020 12:51

Also now im 22 weeks feeling baby move more and more. Even caught on camera last night. It had been much more random before sometimes days without anything for those worrying xx

Sep20baby · 11/05/2020 14:05

Yayy! How are getting on? Do you know what you’re having? Sorry if you’ve answered all these new to the group SmileThere is another thread I’ve seen for the same due date so must be popular! X

Sep20baby · 11/05/2020 14:08

I totally understand. We had panning permission pending accepted for our extension which included another bedroom for nursery and now because of lockdown we can’t build or get a mortgage avveiyed as banks won’t lend!! I just keep telling myself that we will make it work and keep positive such a shame timing xx

ShiningStarz · 11/05/2020 14:45

@emma278 @Sep20baby I'm so glad I'm not the only one where everything isn't perfect!! I think in my head I'm thinking it can't be anything but perfect but I need to get a grip lol!! What will be, will be 💜

MooseWL · 11/05/2020 15:19

Ooh you guys are both due on my birthday! Mine is due a couple of days after!
Enjoy your scan this afternoon @lilice let us know how it goes!
I've got mine and my whooping cough jab tomorrow. Nervous but excited!

I'm with you on preparations being on hold. We've planned a new bathroom and we'd put it off for so long and now I'm mad we didn't sort it earlier when we should have!

@lazydaisydream you got a bargain! I'm watching a couple of the star wraps on ebay too plus some clothes bundles and some aden and anais muslins. Just waiting until after tomorrow before I start buying! But then i really need to start looking into prams/cots etc!

ShiningStarz · 11/05/2020 15:53

@emma278 I can't believe you caught movements on the camera!! My little one is breech so now I know the twinges below my belly button are feet 💜

Chanel05 · 11/05/2020 15:59

@ShiningStarz yes, so frustrating. We are desperate for a new kitchen but I just can't see it happening before baby is born. Can't get an appointment for a kitchen plan (of course) and I can't see when that will be likely to happen.

ChipsAreLife · 11/05/2020 16:08

@lilice good luck! Hope all goes well

We will be sending the girls back to school/preschool but I expect R will go up either before that can happen or shortly after as people are starting to be come more relaxed 😞

@emma278 so exciting you caught movement on camera!! I’ve been trying desperately to so OH can see but literally every time I get the camera (or call OH if he’s in the house) then baby stops - so frustrating!

emma278 · 11/05/2020 16:37

Its been really quite active the last 24 - 48 hours. Especially when i sit at my desk and lean over. Probably doesnt like being squashed!! Xx

Would anyone be interested in joining a WhatsApp group to make it easier to communicate?

Lilice · 11/05/2020 17:04

All good at the scan, was amazing to see my little baby. I got the whooping cough vaccine but will have to wait until next appointment for the mat form.
@ChipsAreLife are you not worried about your girls getting the virus at school? I really dont know what to think anymore. I'd like to go with the flow and trust the government's guidelines but find it hard. I'm probably too paranoid Confused

ShiningStarz · 11/05/2020 17:50

@Lilice that's great news xx

Piper1879 · 11/05/2020 18:02

@Lazydaisydaydream ahhh thanks for the recommendations! Well done for that !! I won a few some weeks ago and then sold two of mine on as I didn't need four, perhaps you got mine 🤣

@Lilice congrats on your scan ! Such lovely news !!

Hope everyone's had a good weekend ? Waiting to hear from work to see if I have to go back ? Or even if I have a job so I'm anxious 😟 had a private scan today ( I bought a bundle ) baby is growing more and more was even chewing his cord today 🤦🏼‍♀️ hopefully will be able to book in for a 3D scan soon.

Hoping to hear from consultant at some point , I'm 24 weeks and considered high risk and therefore consultant lead but so far have heard nothing 😟

Lilice · 11/05/2020 18:11

@Piper1879 great news, it made me smile reading your baby is chewing on his cord haha! I'll definitely get a 4d scan booked in the third trimester, my husband was gutted he couldn't come today

I'm getting an itchy bump and I've noticed little red dots , like blood dots. I had some before but they're like spots now and some are bleeding. Ahhh it sounds awful but it's not as bad as it sounds. Is anyone else having the same problem?

ShiningStarz · 11/05/2020 19:59

@Lilice I googled itchy bump!! Caused by mainly skin streching but can be a sign of liver disease. Maybe call your GP about the blood spots. X

Lilice · 11/05/2020 20:24

@ShiningStarz oh my , sounds scary. Yes I'll have to ring my gp asap then x

Crazymummyto3 · 11/05/2020 21:56

Hi everyone, I'm a bit late to the group but I'm 22+4 expecting a baby boy on 10th September, our fourth baby.

ShiningStarz · 11/05/2020 21:59

Welcome and congrats @Crazymummyto3

Zaalfruit · 11/05/2020 22:50

@Piper1879 that sounds soo cute !! Needed to read something positive and uplifting.

@Lilice deffo just call gp just to double check !

Lazydaisydaydream · 11/05/2020 22:59

having had a quick read of the document published today looks like pregnant women still remain under same category and same advice so don't think anything changes for us really. My son was meant to have started nursery this month, obviously they've been closed but I'm worried if they now reopen I'll have to decide whether to pay for fiveish months without sending him or cancel his place and hope there's space later on... Urgh I hate making decisions like this! Just don't think theres a way he can be at nursery that's safe for him and me. Sad feel like he's missing out on so much!

OrDis · 12/05/2020 06:14

Been up since 5 today with a nosebleed. It’s
now stopped thankfully but I feel like I can taste the residuals in my throat. Trying to look at it as early morning training for when baby comes 🤣

LatteLover12 · 12/05/2020 07:33

Morning ladies, @OrDis I feel your pain, I am so congested it's ridiculous. It's so bad in the evenings I've bought some breathe right strips to help me sleep. So attractive! 😂

I'm pleased to see pregnant women are still to stay at home. It's safer all round I think.

ShiningStarz · 12/05/2020 08:03

I'm the same, I sneeze at least 20 times a day, feel so bunged up! Have never had hay fever before!! Also had few nose bleeds and yep the taste is gross!! The joys!!
