Fab news @LatteLover12 😊

ShiningStarz · 07/05/2020 15:21

These looks very cosy.

Anyone any thoughts?

ShiningStarz · 07/05/2020 15:38

Natural baby shower is a fab website

MooseWL · 07/05/2020 16:28

Aw glad your scan was good @lattelover!
@shiningstarz it won't let me see the link. I just went to sainsburys to do the food shop and I found myself browsing the baby clothes 😍 some really cute peter rabbit stuff. They had lots of newborn things in too so it is out there!

Lazydaisydaydream · 07/05/2020 16:40

@ShiningStarz yes we were thinking about getting one of those as this will be a colder weather baby! As far as I know they are the only ones which are safety tested for car seats, unless anyone has seen any others?

Emmy2020 · 07/05/2020 16:43

@MooseWL Are you able to buy clothes in Sainsburys while food shopping? I’ve not been to a supermarket for about 7 weeks!

Emmy2020 · 07/05/2020 16:45

Wondering what I’ll need to buy for baby? How many babygro’s etc. What sizes has everyone bought? Don’t want to buy them too small but then again want things that will fit when she’s born! 😀

MooseWL · 07/05/2020 16:57

@emmy2020 yeah I think so! The clothes are still there and I guess if you're there anyway for essentials it's fine.
My partner wouldn't let me go at first and now he's like are you going to the supermarket on Thursday after you finish work because I don't want to go on a bank holiday 🤣 I really don't mind though because when he goes he buys everything and ends up spending double what I do!

I didn't buy any clothes but it's nice to know there's lots of things out there...maybe next week after the scan 🤞🏻

Lilice · 07/05/2020 16:58

@emmy2020 i think @ShiningStarz posted a list on this thread.
@shiningstarz it looks good. I have a cozy toes somewhere which is a bit similar, or you can also put a blanket over and tuck in under the arms

Emmy2020 · 07/05/2020 17:07

@MooseWL Ah you’ll definitely want to be buying once you’ve had your scan next week! 😁 That’s good to know, might see if my mum will go shopping there and pick some bits up for me! 😊

ShiningStarz · 07/05/2020 17:15

@Emmy2020 I bought 6 white babygrows in next first size (newborn) and 5 white short sleeve body suits.
That's it for newborn!
The other stuff I have is for up to 1 month and then 0-3.

ChipsAreLife · 07/05/2020 17:17

Congrats @Bekka94 and @LatteLover12 I want to know what mine is now!!! Ah well only 17 weeks to go 🤣

It's hard on the clothes I can't seem to find anything neutral online! I did get this in 0-3 and it was sold out last week so just keep looking!

Hi everyone I'm due 11/09/20 - pregnant with baby girl! X

UrsulaSings · 07/05/2020 18:04

Hi everyone, my baby boy is due on 7th sept. Started buying stuff after my 20 week scan a couple weeks ago, but pushchairs have been doing my head in! Thinking of just getting a sling for now then getting a pushchair once hes here!

Emmy2020 · 07/05/2020 18:10

@Lilice Just noticed your comment I will have a look

Emmy2020 · 07/05/2020 18:13

@ShiningStarz Thanks 😊 It’s hard to know how much I should buy! Even more difficult as everything newborn is out of stock. Annoying when H&M adverts show nice newborn sets then you look and they only have big sizes left!

Emmy2020 · 07/05/2020 18:14

Congratulations @Franny0696 and @UrsulaSings 😀

sianyflewog · 07/05/2020 18:18

Are you planning on a travel system when you get your pram? As you’ll have to have the car seat to bring baby home x

sianyflewog · 07/05/2020 18:18

It really is - especially in unisex!

sianyflewog · 07/05/2020 18:20

I bought one of the Peter Rabbit sleepsuits yesterday - couldn’t help myself! Now I’m panicking that the baby won’t be a girl 😂

sianyflewog · 07/05/2020 18:22

Oh irritating - I pressed reply to messages and assumed people would be tagged!

@UrsulaSings
@Emmy2020
@MooseWL The above are for you x

Emmy2020 · 07/05/2020 18:45

@sianyflewog I got given a pram from my friend so I think I’ll get a car seat but just have it for the car

LatteLover12 · 07/05/2020 19:20

Ooh I like the look of that @ShiningStarz 😍

I'm too scared to tot up what I've spent online in the last few hours. I've picked up lots of sleep suits in next (up to one month size; I have big babies) a couple on JoJo and a sleeping bag from M&S along with some PJs for me after baby arrives.

Yikes. That's before the pram etc... 😂🤯

ShiningStarz · 07/05/2020 19:43

@Emmy2020 keep checking when you first wake up lol!! If you can be bothered!! I saw nearly everything in little sizes in mamas and papas randomly one Sunday morn but it was before my 20 week scan so didn't buy! Then next has stuff this morn they didn't have earlier in the week!! I decided what I wanted and just kept checking. As I don't know what we are having I'm just getting white, got some white with pattern, fruit n veg, farm animals and stars all from next xx

ShiningStarz · 07/05/2020 19:45

Welcome @UrsulaSings @Franny0696 congrats 💜💜

Nice to see you bought something for you @Lazydaisydaydream it's so important not to forget about us!! Hope your ok, thinking bout you lots xx
