I've been feeling quite down too and itchiness coming back too. Hence I've been using E45 cream all over my body. 🤪 struggling between wanting to hit the shower again and again as it's ease the itchiness, and putting more cream on. Restless the whole time 😭

I’m with you on all these ladies. I’m so slow and achy these days, out of breath, nauseous, uncomfy at night. Yes to the twinge after a long walk! DH says I snore like a train every night and am keeping him awake Hmm . that complaint was met with a long list of the ailments I have from carrying this baby!!! He can bloody well put up with a bit of snoring, he gets to sleep on his front and go a whole night without getting up to wee.

I’ve done a bit more sorting, ordered a few baby bits and we have tackled one big “house job” so I’m feeling a bit better mentally today. Just got to keep up the momentum, I think lockdown is starting to get to us all as a family.

UKtoSK · 15/04/2020 06:18

@Magpiefeather haha snoring like a train made me laugh. My husband (wisely) hasn’t mentioned if I’m snoring but I have snorted myself awake a few times.

sarahlounich · 15/04/2020 06:49

Ohhh it's reassuring to hear everyone is suffering similar to me!! Luckily my nausea hasn't returned but i am suffering with reflux/indigestion and need to remind myself I can only eat small meals despite being hungry 🙁

Sleep is fun 🙄 my husband last week made some sort of fort from about 6 pillows and my pregnancy pillow which has really helped, especially the reflux as I'm so propped up, pillows under my legs has also helped restless legs I'd started to experience.

The pain in my pelvis is getting worse too..definitely SPD..feels like someone is pulling my pubic hair or setting it on fire 🔥

Naps are getting me through the afternoons (I'm working from home but I guess this is a perk!) I'm not sure how I'd be managing to work full time still!

It's so nice to be able to moan to you all and know we're all in the same boat...I do feel sorry for my DH sometimes!!

Hope everyone has a good day today ☺️.

33+1

Busylizzie85 · 15/04/2020 07:43

I thought bump had dropped last week but when I have compared it to this week and she's definitely dropped more. I feel huge at the moment and I still have 7 weeks left!

32+5

mrssunshinexxx · 15/04/2020 08:19

Sorry to hear those that are suffering ! Anyone else feeling good ?! X

Pegase · 15/04/2020 08:44

Haha nope! Definitely very sore after going for a walk and becoming more sore lying in bed now. Feeling lack of motivation although packed most of my hospital bag yesterday. Only 30+ 4!

Blizy · 15/04/2020 08:54

I have my midwife appointment today, very nervous about going out to the clinic. I've not been out in 5 weeks!
I hear you all with the spd pain, I've been signed off work since January with spd/pgp it's brutal!
Does anyone know the best time to order
From next? I need to get a couple of buts for ds, he has grown like a weed and needs new trousers!

RPPs · 15/04/2020 09:06

Hey Moaners oooo ooo Moaners. So reasurring to hear we all have the same symptoms. I keep apologizing to H for moaning. I too feel so tired most of the day but don't feel the urge to go to bed because I find it so hard to find a position that doesn't make me feel like Im cutting off my airways. Literally cant lie on my right or propped up on my back when my left hip gets sore. So i walk around in the night to give my hip a break however when I return to my left, I cant breath. Quite scary. Does anyone else have this?

RPPs · 15/04/2020 09:08

However I have noticed that the few walks i have had have defo eased the achy pain I was getting in my hips.
I have a scan today, so really looking forward to seeing Bambino again.
@AH16 we are due date buddies.
32 weeks today. Woo hoo

Pegase · 15/04/2020 09:29

@Blizy apparently Next reached capacity on orders by 0830am yesterday...

SearchingTheSkies · 15/04/2020 09:43

Sorry so many of us are having our sleep disrupted by aches and pains. Last night I was kept awake by hay fever, achy/sore hips and acid indigestion. I feel like if this carries on I'm going to be too exhausted to do anything let alone give birth in a few weeks!

BabyBird20 · 15/04/2020 09:51

@blizy I had my midwife appt yesterday and they were taking lots of precautions. Had to buzz reception to say you'd arrived then wait outside. Then they were checking temp on arrival and wearing new gloves/apron etc for each new person and wiped down every surface and bit of kit straight away after use! It made me feel much better about having to go in!! 😊😊

Blizy · 15/04/2020 09:54

@Pegase I was checking at 4:45am and nothing!
Thanks for that @BabyBird20, I've just had a call asking if I have any symptoms.

LillianFullStop · 15/04/2020 10:52

Thanks for that @pegase! I think I'm going to insist on an ELCS date and if I happen to go into labour before the date and it's progressing well I'll consider VB if they can guarantee a low threshold for EMCS if things aren't going smoothly.

@sarahlounich my DH made me a similar fortress with my first pregnancy lol! But this time around DD jumps into our bed in the middle of the night and it gets a little crazy with so many pillows and a 3 year old in the bed haha

@RPPs yes I'm the same certain positions make it hard to breathe - the more upright I am the better it feels (helps the hay fever induced blocked nose too) but then it hurts my back and hips - I can't win! moan moan moan Smile

My mood hasn't been great with the bad sleep and aches and pains too. Been snappy mcsnapsnap with DH and my toddler. If you've seen Lord of the Rings I feel like Bilbo Baggins when his amiable face just contorts with a snarl. Blush

32+5 💙

Blizy · 15/04/2020 11:57

Just back from the midwife, I'm measuring 4 weeks ahead, I'm 29 weeks and measuring at 33. So I've been sent for a growth scan on Friday morning. If anything I though I would measure smaller due to the issues I have! I'm quite happy though, it means I get another growth scan since my last was cancelled!

BabyBird20 · 15/04/2020 12:00

@LillianFullStop I'm in the same boat as you regarding potential ELCS. It's been mentioned by consultant and midwife as a potential so far but no actual information given! I am definitely leaning towards it but want to be sure of the balance of risks etc. I'm thinking having a date set for it then if labour starts before hand giving that a chance seems like a good option!

AndddddHerewegoagain · 15/04/2020 12:51

Ive got a consultant appointment next Thursday where they will decide c section or leave me to go into spontaneous labour. It seems im only measuring big because of excess fluid but i guess the growth scan will confirm either way.

Yesterday the toddler was a real grump all day. I was counting down to bedtime! My husband let me have a lie in this morning so feeling refreshed plus the toddler slept 12 hours so he's in a brilliant mood today which makes life much easier. He's spent the morning washing his garden toys which has kept him entertained!

Smiffette · 15/04/2020 12:59

@Blizy hope the scan goes well!

I had a growth scan yesterday because my bump hadn't changed size. Hasn't changed my gestation though, still 32+2 and baby is measuring just below the 50th percentile with long legs 😍

Didn't really get to see baby though because she is so much bigger now, shame I really wanted to see her face. 🥰 glad all is good though!

SerBrienneOfHouseTarth · 15/04/2020 13:32

It's reassuring to read that I'm not the only one feeling like shite with aches and pains and pukes and everything in between! I've been sleeping (I use the term loosely) in DC1's bed and he's been in with DH as my snoring is off the chart now! My skin has gone to shit too - the joys, eh?!

@RPPs I'll be singing 'Hey Moaners' in my head all day now Grin

Is anyone else having really vivid, freaky dreams? Don't read on if you're nervous about giving birth!

I dreamed last night I gave birth and had a massive haemorrhage and the Dr started CPR even though I was trying to tell him I was conscious and when he was doing the compressions I could feel blood gurgling in my chest and lungs! In the commotion nobody could find the baby. I woke up drenched in sweat, gasping for breath and convinced there was a baby under the bedcovers! Took me ages to get back to sleep!

LillianFullStop · 15/04/2020 14:54

@Blizy extra scans are always good! Had one yesterday and although it was hard to see properly now that there's less room in there - he's definitely looking rounder like a real baby

@Babybird20 it's reassuring to have a date but also I wish I could still have a straight forward uneventful VB so if I go into labour I'll take that as a sign to give it a shot. Since it is not guaranteed at least an ELCS gives more certainty!

Pegase · 15/04/2020 15:08

Ooh did somebody say they had bought the Snuzpod 3? If so, which sheets did you buy for it - their own brand ones are extortionate but I assume others fit?

BabyBird20 · 15/04/2020 15:12

@SerBrienneOfHouseTarth snap on the dreams!! I have the most insane stress dreams at the moment and keep waking DH up with it! Between that and my monster snoring he is being incredibly patient! Don't think he'd dare moan though 😂😂

Gigitree · 15/04/2020 15:34

@Pegase we have the snuzpod 3 and got these ones
