@AndddddHerewegoagain oh yeah that sounds positive I do feel like there's light at the of the tunnel. Oh that's soon but you could have your baby just at strictest measures are lifted and you hopefully will be able to introduce baby to immediate family :)

mrssunshinexxx · 14/04/2020 08:03

@Firsttimerat35 they are open for homeware too,, did you get a slot?

Firsttimerat35 · 14/04/2020 08:11

@mrssunshinexxx It does say homeware now!!
www.next.co.uk/coronavirus-information

But not sure when they open up slots for the day unfortunately!

mrssunshinexxx · 14/04/2020 08:29

@Firsttimerat35 I would guess midnight or 6am they are opening all areas up soon I'm waiting to order big knickers for hospital Grin

AndddddHerewegoagain · 14/04/2020 08:42

@mrssunshinexxx i got some massive ones in asda before lockdown if thats an option

MsMiaWallace · 14/04/2020 10:00

I'm going to aim to BF when in hospital but I'm going to buy one of those newborn packs of formula for the hospital I think.
In the hope that we can be out of the hospital ASAP then feeding might not be a problem anyway

Gigitree · 14/04/2020 16:31

Feeling really sick today and exhausted- not sure if this means little one is having a growth spurt or not, but I feel like I’m back in the first trimester again.
Anyone else had this?

Girlinajumpsuit · 14/04/2020 17:08

@Gigitree I know what you mean. I've been nauseous all weekend and started being sick again, plus SO tired and achy too! Just feel like a big complaining lump at the moment! I've read that sickness returning in 3rd trimester is actually not that unusual so lucky us..

Busylizzie85 · 14/04/2020 17:09

Does anyone else's baby have a random flurry of really fast movement before going quiet again? Every so often mine will spring in to life have a funny 1-2 min flurry then stops again. This is not a sudden occurrence she's been doing it for a good few or more weeks just wondered if others have a similar thing.

umabb · 14/04/2020 17:14

@Gigitree thanks guess I'll try to find a suitable sized Teddy see if can put a nappy on ! Hehe

Sorry to hear that you don't feel well today. I'm the opposite my appetite scares me I'll need to eat less carbs. 🤪

@Busylizzie85 yes I have the same. He'd go crazy for a bit but just for a short while then go with his normal moves or just go quiet. Wasn't sure what that was as he seems to be fine otherwise. I think I've read on other threads about this too where people say that's quite normal so didn't worry much. x

Thank @umabb she startles me when she starts but it's good to know it's happening to others. 😊

Gigitree · 14/04/2020 17:29

@girlinajumpsuit yes I feel like a big complaining lump too! I don’t want to whinge about it but I just can’t help myself today! I didn’t sleep well as my hips hurt from lying on my side, my pelvis hurts due to PGP and now I’m feeling sick again!
Glad I’m not the only one but sorry to hear you’re suffering too!

@umabb not sure I have a teddy that will be the right size lol! Might have to use a butternut squash! 😂😂😂
When I’m not feeling sick, I’m with you there on the appetite!

umabb · 14/04/2020 17:36

@Busylizzie85 I was just trying to find that thread to share with you but couldn't. Will try to ask midwife / doctor too next time I speak with them. I don't think it's of any concern though x

@Gigitree lol yes don't know if we have one either. The husband was trying to look for one online - I thought that was crazy but did then think how we could practise ...

These past couple of days I've been absolutely exhausted, and really grumpy. I'm not sure if the 2 are connected or even if the grumpiness is pregnancy related, but I feel shit. Maybe I'm just bored/fed up/lacking in motivation now or maybe it's my hormones? Anyone else feeling like this? I'm also getting more and more uncomfortable as I grow. Baby is still sitting high and making eating and breathing difficult. I have no energy to go for a walk or do yoga even. Just want to laze around all day and have an afternoon nap! Please tell me it's not just me?!

MsMiaWallace · 14/04/2020 18:38

What moisturiser are we all using?

I've been using Vaseline intensive cocoa or Palmers.
I was thinking of treating myself to Soap & Glory.
Any other recommendations?

UKtoSK · 14/04/2020 18:39

@Busylizzie85 my baby does that too sometimes. I just assume she’s trying to get comfortable and finally does and goes to sleep lol.

@Gigitree yes I’m 29+3 and on Sunday I suddenly felt like I was in the first trimester again with nausea. I’m also not sleeping well recently because of hip pain from lying on my sides. My bump also feels much larger and tighter this week, kind of uncomfortable.

AmyMaria2 · 14/04/2020 18:46

@APD1981 I'm exactly the same atm, can't get through the day without a nap and can't even be bothered to go for a walk, I just ache all over and feel so unmotivated! Im 33 weeks tomorrow, maybe it just happens around this time x

Gigitree · 14/04/2020 18:59

@UKtoSK seems like it’s fairly common then! I wonder if we get another surge of hormones around this time that does it?
Yes deffo feel larger too which isn’t helping with the sleep. All I want to do is sleep but then laying on my side becomes uncomfortable and I need a wee all the time 😂
I’ve been trying not to complain too much as I know I will just get more uncomfortable as time goes on, but the sickness coming back is just making me feel quite fed up today!

I really just wish I could go for a swim to feel weightless for a while!

UKtoSK · 14/04/2020 19:36

@Gigitree yes all I want is a nice swim and possibly a massage. I feel the same, so tired all I want is a nap but have started dreading lying down now. I just want to lie on my stomach just for a little while. But I also don’t want to start complaining, because I am still so happy to be pregnant!

Rinoa · 14/04/2020 19:49

@MsMiaWallace I use so many these days lol just depends what mood I'm in. These days I use either bio oil or Aveeno moisturiser

MissisBee · 14/04/2020 20:39

I'm feeling all first trimestery again. Nausea has never gone away, but over-sensitive to smells again, off some foods, nipples really sensitive.
My lower ribs are permanently aching, I think from stretching, out of breath a lot too. We've been taking DS out for walks every day, but I've been struggling a bit the last few days, feel like I'm going at the speed of a 90 year old. Also getting a very uncomfortable twanging sensation in the vaginal area (sorry!), if I've gone too fast.
30+6

Busylizzie85 · 14/04/2020 20:53

@MissisBee I'm with you on the annoying sensation 🙋🏻‍♀️ also the breathlessness!
I still have really bad rhinitis since the beginning so mornings and evenings I'm really congested makes sleeping very hard 🤧 it's these random pregnancy symptoms they neglect to warn you of 😂

MissisBee · 14/04/2020 22:03

Ooh, I'm glad it's not just me @Busylizzie85 but sorry you're experiencing it too. At first I thought it was the baby punching me in the cervix, but it feels too low for that. And yes to the pregnancy rhinitis, which is especially fun now that hayfever is joining in

LillianFullStop · 14/04/2020 22:11

Thanks for the tip on the SnuzPod mattress @Andddddherewegoagain ! Hope you and DS are feeling better?

32+4 and hips are hurting after a gentle walk. How?! Walked a lot in my first pregnancy so this is new - I think because I've been so inactive during the lockdown that when I do go for a walk my body thinks I've done a marathon. So sore now!

Insomnia is coming back but not the same insomnia as in the first trimester. This is more because I'm so uncomfortable lying down my hips get so sore and @Busylizzie85 my hay fever and sinuses act up at night too and wakes me up or stops me from falling asleep! I can't even take the usual trusty Benadryl!

Not long to go! I've got my birth choices appointment on Monday and I am still not 100% convinced on ELCS I'm so torn! Confused
