@Moonstone12 thank you for your message! My midwifes said that they recommend natural breach deliveries if the baby isn't large as there's no evidence to say that they are dangerous, however, doctors tend to veer on the side of sections! I can definitely tell he's still breach at the moment..... I feel quite in the dark with everything as my apps have been cancelled and it's just giving me a lot of anxiety now! I don't know enough about birth to be thinking about it all the time

@mrsf1204 your bump looks lovely! Mine dropped at around 38 weeks last time and I had a due date delivery so don't worry :)

I was in a right way with myself last night, I honestly thought something was going to happen! I was so restless, my stomach was rock solid hard, everything was tired but I couldn't sleep!!! I've just got a feeling it won't be long. Maybe it's because I'm coming up to 37 weeks now!

Moonstone12 · 11/04/2020 08:03

@november90 how you felt last night is how I've been feeling for a few day's! I even said to my other half that I feel like an animal and just restless and don't know what to do with myself! (No idea of animals start being restless before they give birth but it's how I imagine it lol)

I think I'm just taking every little thing and imagining it's worse than it is. A bit like symptom spotting when ttc 😂

I'm so impatient and I think lockdown has made it harder as I can't take my mind off it 😂😂😂

Xx

facevalue · 11/04/2020 08:57

@mrsf1204 i'm 35 weeks tomorrow and my bump is high too.. getting very uncomfortable under the left side - feels like my ligaments are ripping. luckily no stretch marks but it's painful by midday and the afternoon i need paracetamol😫
it's tough because i have my DD who needs me to be active and play! and house work! my husband is being amazing but he's wfh and also feeling shattered. 🥺

i was really looking forward to mat leave and being a yummy mummy going out for massages and having hair and nails done!

most importantly for ladies like who always had a full Hollywood wax - how are you dealing with the downstairs situation - i never shave as it makes me itchy. so i had to use my husband's clippers but for birth / C section i really wanted to be bikini ready 😭😭😭😭 i don't want midwife to shave me🥺 it will hurt me after ( i want to tell them not to do that). any thoughts suggestions?

november90 · 11/04/2020 09:14

Hahaha @mrsf1204 I felt like a bull in a china shop last night! I was in such a terrible mood. Hoping today will be different but my tummy is gets so hard and my legs so fidgety I don't know how to relax 🙈

Also.. weighed myself this morning for the first time in a long time and OMG 😂😂😂 lets hope I'm carrying a lot of fluid!!!!

CharlieB93 · 11/04/2020 09:46

@facevalue I’ve gave up completely with pruning, out of sight out of mind 😂😂

Raindancer411 · 11/04/2020 11:02

@CharlieB93 Same 😂 I won't worry what it looks like down there as I will have other pressing matters on my mind!!

facevalue · 11/04/2020 11:12

@CharlieB93 @Raindancer411 oh it's not the cosmetic thing i'm after.. i just get itchy - i'm not used to it - also maybe it's summer warmth I'm not sure.

facevalue · 11/04/2020 14:07

it's a hot day and i'm feeling crap and low. no joy. i've contacted this charity for support with stress and anxiety .. thought I would share here incase someone else is suffering like me in the UK

Caspianberg · 11/04/2020 14:52

My bump hasn't dropped at all. 37+ weeks now.. Feels like no progress is happening.

GinUnicorn · 11/04/2020 15:19

@facevalue sending Flowers it’s a tough time to be pregnant.

@Caspianberg mine didn’t drop until 38.5 last time and she arrived in her due date.

sao81 · 11/04/2020 15:19

Had my scan today, little man has moved head down! So I'm guessing thats why i could no longer feel him kicking as he's shuffled behind my placenta. 33+4 and already weighing in at 4lb15oz, got a feeling hes going to be chunky😂 the sonogropher said she could see lots of hair too, I just cannot wait to meet him now.
I've definitely gone into nesting mode too, has anyone else? All his clothes hung up, washing done, made his cot up and sorted his changing table! Feeling far too organised

@Saoirse7 i hate nighties usually but would say get one or an old baggy tshirt to throw on for labour, I got one from matalan that buttons at the front so baby can go straight onto me when hes here! Pack old pjs/black leggings for after as they may end up stained if you have a heavy bleed

@november90 I'm convinced that I will go early, and I'm still not due for another 6 weeks! Been getting daily braxton hicks that I didnt have at all last time, everything feels so different!

@facevalue I remember last time I had to balance a mirror and attempt to shave what I could reach 😭 and I hope you get some help and feel better soon 💕💕

flissity · 11/04/2020 18:38

@sao81 wow what a relief. I hope to say the same thing in a few weeks. Been doing all sorts of weird stuff to try and get mine to go head down...

sao81 · 11/04/2020 18:56

@flissity I asked if he will stay that way and sonographer said he will do what he wants😂 so just hoping he doesn't move again. When is your next scan?

OP posts:
november90 · 11/04/2020 19:54

@sao81 aww that's lovely news! So glad your scan went well :)
It's m just occurred to me that my due date is exactly one month away! I have a massive feeling he'll be here soon and I still don't have my pram! I'm keeping everything crossed for a May baby, I love the month of May!

sao81 · 11/04/2020 20:28

@november90 its gone so fast hasnt it! I feel like I wont last til my due date either, I've got this sudden urge to get everything organised just incase!

OP posts:
november90 · 11/04/2020 20:58

@sao81 haha yes! I have just disinfected my whole bedroom top to bottom and hoovered and cleaned everything completely irrationally. I'm so tired and feeling annoyed I can't finish my last few bits 🙈

mrsf1204 · 11/04/2020 21:08

Thanks ladies, interesting! I guess I'll drop soon then.

If anyone fancies a laugh, take a photo from this angle.... I've been laughing at myself all day 😂😂

sao81 · 11/04/2020 21:35

@mrsf1204 this made me giggle 😂 I think seeing your face too and how funny youve found it 😂😂😂

@november90 try not to overdo it! Although I did spend yesterday with a bottle of milton scrubbing every piece of plastic in my daughters bedroom 🤦‍♀️

OP posts:
flissity · 11/04/2020 21:59

@sao81 I don’t have another scan booked just yet. The midwife wants to see me at 35 weeks (a week tuesday) then we will see situation then 😬😬

sao81 · 11/04/2020 22:05

@flissity aah fingers crossed! We will have our appointments on the same day and the same gestation 😂😂

OP posts:
facevalue · 11/04/2020 23:30

@sao81 my 36 week appointment a week on monday .. i'm dreading it 👻 but i decided i should drive and not use public transport 🙀.

did everyone get a text or letter from the "government" saying you have received this because " you are extremely vulnerable" - with a code to an app for your isolation period 👽

sao81 · 12/04/2020 06:21

@facevalue I have had texts but nothing about an app so I'd be cautious with it! When I checked with my GP they said I'm not on the list due to pregnancy but due to having a compromised immune system due to my iga deficiency/spleen problems, so if you're worried contact them too to be sure

OP posts:
CharlieB93 · 12/04/2020 06:39

I’ve heard nothing re being vulnerable with being pregnant! The only thing I’ve seen is stuff on the news. Have you received that because you’re vulnerable for another reason?

flissity · 12/04/2020 07:01

@sao81 I wonder who will go into labour first!! I bet it’s you.
I have had 2 babies- 10 and 11 days late ...

sao81 · 12/04/2020 11:45

@CharlieB93 yeah so mine is due to an immune disorder rather than pregnancy! So I'm having to shield rather than follow social distancing which is crap, but if it keeps us safe I'll just have to get on with it!
@flissity my little girl was induced at 39 weeks, so I have no clue when I will go if I go naturally!
