Hello,
I've been lurking for a few weeks on the old thread - decided to finally join now I've had my 12 week scan! I've also requested to join the Facebook group.
I'm 13 weeks today and due on the 18th August.
Is anyone else inspecting for a bump every time they get changed haha?

Vialarooski · 11/02/2020 19:05

@Mrs71 thanks for creating and the add :) this group is great!

Vialarooski · 11/02/2020 19:06

@Murree welcome! I'm trying to hide my bump at the moment but there are a couple of nosey girls at work who keep asking probing questions. Getting difficult to hide! X

Zm2019 · 11/02/2020 19:11

Found new thread, and also requested on fb group.
I have my 12 week scan tomorrow where I will be 12+2 will be interesting if my due date changes again. People who had an early scan and just had the 12 week scan, was your due date the same or did it move slightly.

Murree · 11/02/2020 19:24

@Zm2019 I had a scan at 8 weeks - my due date moved forward 1 day at the 12 week scan... not much really! I have heard someone who moved a whole week forward despite the dates at her 8 week scan!

IslayBrigid · 11/02/2020 20:13

Hey everyone! Thanks for creating and for the add @Mrs71! I do like it on Mumsnet too, so good to keep this going. Facebook feels different! They have unique charms 😂 good to have both.
I can post a link to this on the FB page too so everyone who wants to can continue to be part of both. X

Ginblooded · 11/02/2020 20:26

Thanks for the tag 😊 it's lovely having both the MN and FB groups on the go!

Mrs71 · 11/02/2020 20:34

@IslayBrigid I find Facebook weird too! I don't mind it but do like it on here too. One week left till our scan! x

ladybug2020 · 11/02/2020 20:59

I've just had my first scan yesterday and I'm 12 weeks 2 days and due on 23 August

MrsA2015 · 11/02/2020 21:04

Hello, a newbie here. Still awaiting my scan but estimated due date 8th sept Grin

GalaxyGirl24 · 11/02/2020 21:39

Hey guys 🌟

NCON · 11/02/2020 21:59

Hey @Mammasj mine is 24th so couple of days after you! The closer it comes the more nervous I'm becoming 🙈 how u feeling about it? Have you had an early scan? I haven't but kinda wishing I did now lol

Arc86 · 12/02/2020 07:31

Hi folks, commenting here so I can keep getting notifications for the new thread. I’ve also requested to join the Facebook group. I wonder if we’ll have any baby Lucy’s ?? 😊

Mammasj · 12/02/2020 07:32

Hi @NCON 👋 I'm really nervous too! I did have an early scan though, at 9+2 so I was reassured at that point but it soon wears off. It's just terrifying isn't it. I can't wait for it to be over with so I can finally start relaxing a little bit! And I just want to hurry up and tell everyone because I'm hiding my stomach at work etc, it's just a hassle. I'll be glad when I can let it all hang out 😂 I hope you are feeling well! Xx

@Mammasj I totally agree, I was exactly the same, trying to hide my bump at work - only had 3 baggy outfits that I've been rotating! Finally told them today!

That is an amazing scan @Beth804 - glad it's all gone so nicely and your little ones are doing well :) I bet it is a huge relief to just be able to tell people now!

IslayBrigid · 13/02/2020 08:18

Congrats Beth!!! That's so wonderful. Can't believe you have two little babies in there xx

Mammasj · 13/02/2020 10:43

@Beth804 aww congratulations! I missed the scan photo, try and post a cropped version if you can! I've not seen a twin scan before! Lol

Aw the relief must be great for you. I'm wearing huge scarfs and the same clothes all the time. It's so difficult and stressful. I just want to tell everyone because I'm constantly worrying about it. Particularly, the reaction of my employer. I've only worked here a year 🤦🏽‍♀️ but family comes first I guess.

Xx

Mrs71 · 13/02/2020 12:12

@Beth804 aw how amazing! You must be so excited xx

I've had a real tough couple days I'm so nervous and anxious for my scan on Wednesday. I had an early scan at 6+5 and saw the heartbeat but I just cant stop worrying! I so want everything to be ok but my anxiety is just taking over and I can't even sleep at night I just lay awake thinking about all these silly things. I still don't have many symptoms I know that is the case with quite a few of us. Please help me keep sane till Wednesday. x
