Hello ladies, I hope everyone has had a nice weekend?

Are there any gender scans happening this week? 💙💖

Weve had a lovely weekend thank you! Have you? Ohh that's so exciting, we have a reassurance scan on Saturday but we are not going to find out! Xx

Hi @Vialarooski I'm just 14 weeks and know exactly what you mean! I'm still knackered and feel queasy a lot of the time (isn't that meant to go soon!) but aside from that, zero symptoms! It's especially odd as we have now told our families since we had the 12 week scan. I think the next big milestone, if I remember rightly from when pg with DS, is feeling movement which I think for me was around 18 weeks.

I'd just love to have some of that glowing second trimester energy which apparently happens Hmm

Hi everyone!

Loving all the baby scans - we had ours last week. Just 11weeks so a bit early but incredible all the same. Heart shapes!

We are also doing the harmony test so find out the gender this week... by email. Hmm

@FoxtrotSkarloey I hear you on waiting for that second trimester energy! My boobs have also gone back to nearly normal, though I defo have a bit of a bump starting now.

@Vialarooski I pored over a few different theories recently, including the skull, nub and Ramzi's. I would say girl!

@Vialarooski I feel exactly the same I’m 14 weeks today had my scan last Monday and everything was fine but I still don’t feel pregnant at all I never had any symptoms to begin with anyway so iv kind of felt like this the whole way along but it’s just a bit odd that everything’s carrying on as normal but there’s a little human growing inside of me 😂

Hi everyone

Bit of a random one - but what are you all doing about coats?

I have got to that tricky in-between stage, where I still don't have a bump, but it definitely looks as if I have been eating too many pies!

Consequently, nearly I am having real difficulties doing the zip-up on all of my winter coats. I have tried leaving them undone covered by a scarf but its too cold and wet for that at the moment.

Is any one else having this problem? I really don't want to buy a new coat for just the next 6 weeks as coats aren't cheap at the best of times.

Hello everyone!

I am 14w (+1) today and I swear I felt a little flutter in my tummy earlier!!!! It was right down by my hip/pelvis area. Defo wasn't gas this time 💙💖

Lovely @Vialarooski ! I'm 15+4 and nada so far.

I am getting a definite baby bump though! Always a bit paranoid it's mostly podge but I've put on less than a kilo so far though I'm convincing myself it's all baby! 😂

Hey ladies how’s everyone feeling? I’m 16 weeks today and still don’t feel pregnant my jeans are getting a bit tight but apart from that I feel completely normal! Iv booked a private gender scan for Friday so that’s exciting but the reassurance from the 12 scan has well and truly worn off x

FoxtrotSkarloey · 16/03/2020 12:09

Hi Megan - pretty similar. I think - touch wood - the nausea has finally gone, which is amazing. But still no other symptoms so it's a weird waiting game, hoping everything is ok. DS jumped onto my tummy at the weekend before I could stop him, so that's worried me. I've got a private reassurance scan this week, it can't come soon enough.

Report
megan81088 · 16/03/2020 12:32

@FoxtrotSkarloey my rather large dog did that to me last week and it scared the life out of me that probably hasn’t helped with my worry! Friday can’t come quick enough for me either it’s so reassuring when you have a scan but it quickly wears off fingers crossed everything’s fine x

I'm 16+3 and apart from the small bump have lost most of my pregnancy symptoms. My boobs are still a bit sore - but nothing compared to how they were!

The only really symptom I have is a fairly constant heaviness/stretching feeling in my lower abdomen which I assume is everything stretching into place. I have to be careful when I get up or I get a stabbing pain so currently getting up like an old woman!

Morning ladies!
Had my private scan on Thursday and found out we are having a little boy 💙 so shocked as I submitted my scan to the nub techs and so did my partner and they both came back saying girl so we had both convinced ourselves we were having a girl! It’s now feeling slightly more real as we are starting to buy things think about the nursery etc but in a weird way I still don’t feel pregnant 😂 how are you all feeling? X

Report
KittieKath · 22/03/2020 13:26

@megan81088 Awww congrats! We are having a boy too... we did the harmony test as I was just too impatient to find out - ha ha!!! I am so chuffed as I lost my brother last year, so it feels perfect to have a little namesake after him so soon... :-D

I am also having no major symptoms. Bit of bump now and a full feeling, and slight heartburn. And when I go running I am so out of breath! The weight is starting to creep up, but I am trying to eat healthy and not pig out. Which is difficult when the gym is closed and I am sat at home all day staring at the fridge and toaster!

I am happy to share my 12-week scan photo if anyone wants to cross reference knowing it's a boy, to see if the skull/nub/placenta theories have any validity!

Hope you are all keeping well and safe... at least we aren't missing out on lots of fun this spring/summer being sober and preggo. Wink

Hi everyone!

I am 17+5 today and defo have a bump. I have a bicornute uturus so I can show quickly apparently. This is our first baby but our 3rd pregnancy. I am so excited that my sickness has practically gone. Just in time to stay in for next 3 months 🙈. Hope everyone is keeping well! We are having a surprise but it's so nice to see you all finding out! I am convinced we are having a girl for some reason. Weird isnt it! Xxx

Hi girls! So lovely seeing everyone's scan pictures. I'm 17 weeks 4 days and definitely feeling much better than my first trimester. No sickness anymore and have much more energy which is fab! I am getting stretching/sharp stabbing pains down my left side now and then but told that is all normal as baby growths. Feel like belly has just popped more these last few days. We are also having a surpriseGrinHope everyone is keeps safe xx

Hi everyone hope your all ok and staying safe! Iv got my 20 week scan 2 weeks today and I’m worried they might cancel because of everything going on with COVID-19 has anyone has there’s cancelled/ postponed yet? They already cancelled my 16 week midwife appointment as they said they will only be doing essential appointments but surely the scan is pretty essential?! X

Report
Jessem29 · 01/04/2020 17:40

Hi @megan81088 20 week scans are classed as essential do in my area they are not being cancelled, however they have stopped all partners going with you. So you must attend the scan in your own. I have mine next week and with me being classed as high risk due to a bicronute uturus I am ment to be meeting the consultant but I think that will be over the phone now. Hope this helps! Stay safe xxx

megan81088 · 01/04/2020 18:47

@Jessem29 thanks for the reply feel a bit better knowing the scan should still be going ahead! Shame partners can’t be there though my OH will be gutted about that but I suppose it’s to keep everyone as safe as poss x

Yes, that's exactly our thoughts, such a shame for DH to miss out and I will miss his support, but it's for the best, and means the problem of what to do with DS is no longer a factor.

Ino it's so awful isnt it. I feel so bad for him. I wonder if they will let people video or face time them in! He will be sat in the car a nervous mess bless him! Weve had a few mc so it's always really scary going for a scan! But like you have said, its defo for the best to stop footfall in the hospital! Xx
