OK - am going to take the plunge and start one...anyone coming?

Hi ladies
just wondered if anyone else is getting twinges that if you were a few weeks further on you would think were movements?!
Am 11+3 so def not movements but just odd sensations - not pain - is this stretching? Kind of tingly.
Also anyone had the 'is someone shoving a knitting needle up me' feeling?!
Sharp 'stop you in your tracks' pain that only lasts a second? I've been getting in on and off for weeks so not worried about it all but just wondered if anyone else had it? Def not cramp.
Also tingly 'bits'? Lovely chat this eh?!

Very jealous of those with bumps - still not looking preggy at all and desperate too!

Dolly1 - Yes! I've been having 'feelings' that feel like movement even though I am only 10 weeks or so. It's as though I can feel something turning around in there! Maybe it's just the uterus stretching or something. And I remember having the weird knitting needle pain with my last pg!

Phew! Thanks Windupbird! Have discovered that pregnancy is a time when you convince yourself you are a total freak and that you have a whole range of weird things no one else does!
But I actually find these pains quite reassuring now cause something must be going on in there!

How are you feeling otherwise Windup? Well I hope?

Hi everyone,

my goodness the EDD list just seems to be getting longer and longer each time I check in - which is great news .
Unfortunately i'm still sitting on the sidelines until I have my 12wk scan (this friday). Just cant bring myself to add my name onto the list until then. So all being well I'll be able to get to know you all better then.

Hi All, had my nuchal fold scan today, which all looked fine (phew) although I still have to wait for the results of the blood test. Those were going to be an anxious two week wait and I didnt think I could cope with that so we opted for getting the results privately...and should get them this Thurs. Funny thing happened during the scan, baby was lying in the wrong position so I was asked to cough so see if I could get it to lie on it's back....when I coughed the baby bounced sooooooo much, was really funny to watch. So small movements from us have a big impact on baby.

Today i'm 13weeks+2 and I've been getting 'movement feelings' for about a week now, the only way I can describe it is that it feels like a someone is stretching an elastic band inside me and gently letting it go. I've been only feeling them on the left hand side and have been putting it down to wind, but when I had the scan today the sonographer only scanned exactly where l've been getting movements...so I'm positive it's baby I'm feeling

Daftmoo, I thnk I have felt baby move at least once, I'm 12 weeks tomorrow, and this is my thrid time so I remember what it feels like!!!

Didnt peachy feel movements too?

I'm 13+1 and I'm convinced I've felt movement as well - feels like the baby is turning over. I'm sure it can't be but it really doesn't feel like wind.

Well, i'm 14+1 and mine doesn't flutter- oh no it kicks! Definite, real kicks! thought I ws going amd first time but nope, they're real enough.

(I guess I'm worrying it might be ectopic, but don't really want to admit that and I haven't had any bleeding at all, so I don't think it can be.)

Windupbird, I too ahve pains, proper shooting pains at times, it is normal try not to worry.
Peachy, mine wasnt fluttering either, more like the little munchkin is kicking itself off the wall like a swimmer getting startd, iykwim!

Hi all, Does anyone have any good remedies for indigestion - I have been getting it really bad for about 3 days now!

Windup - I had really bad pains through to week 11, to the stage that I visited the doctors twice but all was/is ok.

I don't have any movements yet just the odd streching pain but apparently you don't feel them untl later when it is your first

Just changed my date to the right one

Morning all (just!) I also have really bad shooting pains sometimes, enough to stop me dead in my tracks. Also get fluttering sensations at night although as I´m only 9+5 (yeah right) it can´t be. I'm also enormous & as I´ve only put on 500g since conceiving it´s not just cake

Does anyone else have really dry skin, but only on their boobs I´m using a really good moisturiser all over & everywhere else is fine it´s just my boobs are all flakey ... weird!

my MS seems to be getting worse in the last 2 days I have lost 3lbs so am now 1lb lighter than when I became PG I thought it would get better now I am over 10 weeks ah well!

Windupbird i too get pains in my left side mine go through to my back some days i have none other its really bad and all day i started getting them right from the start I even went to A&E at 5 weeks thinking something bad was going on they thought it could have been an EP but I have had 2 scans one at 5+2 weeks which showed a sack in the womb and one at 7+2 which showed my bug with a heartbeat in the sack this is my second PG and i never had any of this with my first (which is what made me really worried something was wrong) but they have decided that its ligament stretching! hope this puts your mind at rest a little not long until the 8th when I am sure all will be fine!

lsm - sorry to hear you´re feeling grotty Hope you perk up soon. I´ve been exceptionallly lucky as didn´t get MS with DS and don´t have it now - unfortunately it does mean I´m eating everything in sight I ate 20 boiled sweets yesterday - 20!!!!

Oh, thank you so much for all the reassurance, it really does make me feel better! I'll try to stop worrying over the next few days.
Sorry you're feeling worse TLSM, just been making fish for my dd's tea...not really helping my nausea!

Am so jealous of people feeling things! I have almost convinced myself is all going wrong as can't feel anything, though am feeling very fat and tired and spotty still. Have been working silly hours last couple days and nearly cried when I had to get up this morning...roll on the weekend and some sleep. Though that said every little thing seems to be waking me up at the moment, which is most unusual for me.

God, realised how moany that all was. Please ignore me will be much more positive tomorrow when had some sleep. If I ever get to leave work that is.

Incidentally - I watched that 'Bringing up baby' last night - has anyone else seen it? Was so shocked by that CLaire Verity woman was shouting at tv. She says you should only cuddle a newborn for no more that 10 mins a day! And lets them cry and cry with no cuddles! Bonkers.

Ellie -- I didn't feel a thing until 22-23 weeks when pregnant with DS, and I'm not expecting to improve on that by more than a couple of weeks this time, so you are not alone!

EllieG - I have been crying in the mornings for the last three days....so know what you mean about feeling sooo terrible in the mornings. My DH begged me to take day off today but I wouldn't.

Windup - I am so glad you wrote about the pains. I just had EXCRUCIATING pains in my right side - thought I was loosing the baby. I was soooooo scared and worried and was almost doubled up in pain. I was shocked at how sore it was. DH kept convincing me that it is my bowels - very constipated, it's awful - so I have now downed loads of water and he has just nipped out to the shop to buy me some prunes to munch on tonight. Anyone else out there majorly constipated?

And please may I add myself to the list of edd's? Mine is 21st April (two days before my birthday!!)
