Hi Soph sorry did not see you here too . Hope all is well and no more bleeding for you. I had a bit at 8 weeks and it was apparently nothing. Am now nearly 22 weeks pg with twins. All going well so far! Sorry, will leave you ladies alone again now, you look like you chat quite enough without my help!

Lorayn - Good Lord. Have just looked at a Daily Mail article and that Claire Verity woman sounds awful. I definitely would not have been able to stop cuddling my DS, nor will I ignore the one I´m expecting.

hi ladies,i need some help (tmi)coming up sorry, has any of you had like a dark brown bloody look when wiping yourself after the loo. im not sure if i should fone doctors or not

rdk, I think it's probably best to phone doctor. If just brownish blood it's most likely fine but better check to be sure.

I had some brown stuff at 8 weeks and did go for an early scan. Even though it is hopefully nothing to worry about it just sets your mind at rest. In fact i had it with both pgs. Firs time I called doc who made me an appt at EPU, second time it was a Sunday so I called out of hours midwife who advised me to go to A&E for peace of mind. Seemed a bit drastic but I went anyway, and found out it was twins . No idea why I had any brown bleeding though. Fingers crossed for you.

rdk -- I did at around 8 weeks and all was OK, butif you can get checked/scanned to put your mind at rest that would be good.

Oh, and my EDD may be April 1 rather than April 4. Apparently if you put my LMP date into the computer it comes up April 1, while if you put it into the wheely dially thing it comes up April 4. The fact that it's a leap year next year probably accounts for one of those days' difference, but I don't know where the other two come from . But the midwife uses a wheely dially thing so I suspect my official date will remain April 4.

Good luck rdk, come back and let us know how you get on. FWIW I bled a brownish discharge all the way through my 1st trimester on ds3, had him early in the end due to ( unrelated) placenta praevia, but he's fine now!

Lorayn saw your comment on other thread. Sorry to shatter illusions of being in on hot gossip, but Jamie Theakston's wife's pregnancy has been announced he announced it on his radio show a couple of days after the wedding (and dedicated a record to the baby.... awwwww )

Hello All.Hope you don't mind me crashing.
It's just that I had my son in April 2007 and seeing your thread gave me such a shock as the time has flown by.

Morning all. Welcome Rachel Thanks dooby - I remember how quickly the first year went with DS, he´s 5 next Friday and I can´t believe it, they grow up so quick

morning (just) all .. and yes, welcome RachelPross.

Saw midwife this morning for bloods etc - she was ever so nice and was lovely to have a chat about this and that. It is shared care between herself and my GP and besides my next scan (at hospital) all the appointments are at local GPs so I am chuffed.

Have stopped taking the folic acid now and am feeling quite good (slightly nauseous in the evenings - but nothing compared to what it was).

Hope everyone else is ok - thinking of you all.

Oh and Happy Birthday to your DS doobypoo (what ever day it is! )
